Design Team Favorites Week {Day 2}

Welcome to this special week! We are excited to share the favorite stamps, dies and papers of our Lawn Fawn Design Team this week! They have created amazing inspiration using their favorites! We will have daily giveaways all week, so be sure to comment on each post August 9 – 13 to enter for a chance to win a stamp set with coordinating die of your choice along with a 6×6 paper pack!

Marine kicks off our second day of Design Team Favorites with an interactive Magic Picture Changer card! You can watch the video tutorial below, or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thanks so much for watching!

Marine is a fan of interactive cards, so she created an amazing Magic Picture Changer! She used a slimline design to fit two Build-A-Campsite tents to flank the changing picture. We all know that Marine loves to make fun scenes and the Screen Time kids are the stars of many of her designs. To fill the camping scene, she included images from S’more the Merrier, On the Beach, Super Star and Oh Gnome.

When you pull the tab, the picture changes to reveal the campfire! The cute camping kids can now get those marshmallows toasted for the s’mores!

Lynnette loves the colors in our Into the Woods Remix papers, so she created a beautiful Fall card with them! She featured Outside In Stitched Pumpkin, Stitched Pumpkin Frame and a Happy Fall Line Border!

Audrey‘s favorite set is Making Frosty Friends, so of course her card features this cute snowman! It’s a favorite of many of us, too! Audrey included newer products like Mice on Ice to create a fun scene! For the background, she inked with Snowflake Trio Stencil and added Mini Snowflakes!

Be sure to join us tomorrow for more Design Team inspiration! But for now, it’s giveaway time!

  1. My favourite stand alone die set is definitely 5he center window picture card. I love how small the card is and how versatile it is. 🧡

  2. I love the camping set but I also just got the woodland critters set so I can’t choose! For interactive I like the magic color changer and reveal wheel.

    1. I scream, you scream or magic iris. I just used the icecream one to make “sweet baby” shower invites for a friend.

  3. I scream, you scream or magic iris. I just used the icecream one to make “sweet baby” shower invites for a friend.

  4. I love all LF stand alone dies, but I’m pretty plain. I love the stitched rectangles. They just add so much texture and make cards look finished!

    1. It’s so hard to choose just one! I love the stitched rectangles, the grassy borders, and the simple hillsides. I’m excited about the new den shaped dies and can’t wait to get my “paws” on them to use with the Den Sweet Den bears 🐻♥️🐻

  5. Oh geez. How do I picked just one! I think I would have to also pick the stitched rectangles just because I use them all the time! I also love the interactive dies a ton!

  6. I love all the standalone dies that I have, but if I had to choose a favourite, it would probably have to be Stitched Hillside Pop Up – I use this in many of my cards!

  7. I think all the stand alone die sets are great, so to pick one favorite is almost impossible. The sets I use most often/all the time are the Inside Out Stitched shapes, so I’ll go with one of them.

  8. I use several of the word line border dies. I have plans to use the inside out dies to create ornaments for various seasons.

  9. This is so fun💚💚💚 I love seeing the designers favourites💚💚💚 luv these soooo much! Gonna have to scraplift them💚💕

  10. Love the camping card. My favorite stand-alone die is any of the border dies ( bubbles, lacy, trees, snowflakes, scalloped, etc.). The add just the right finishing touch to many projects

  11. Oops forgot to say what my fav stand alone die set is!! Well I just love them all but my absolute favourite is……..OMG I can’t pick one. I luv all the flowers, the mugs, the build a houses/castles, the tiny critters, the gift card critters, the shadow box die pieces, ohhh I can’t name just one 💚💚💚 I really love them all and I just again love how things all go together💚

  12. Peekaboo backdrop is my favorite because you can make mini scenes, make it interactive, or just cut a piece of patterned paper for a simple background. So versatile and I’ve used it a lot!

  13. I have only had it a few months, and only just recently got the sentiment stamps for it but it’s Reveal Wheel. Hands down. It’s simple, works well. And has a good effect.

  14. My favourite stand alone dies are the stitched rectangles. Is use them on almost every card I make. I also love the scripty happy and scripty birthday dies. They are all great though!

  15. There are two standalone dies that I use a lot. I use the Scripty Hello on many cards and the Stitched Journaling Card die. I use the hearts strip and the stars strip a lot and keep left overs in a small bowl at my work area. It is hard to select a favorite, but those two are used on many cards.

  16. Favorite stand alone die, Oh so HARD! I love all the interactive dies, I think it would have to be the magic iris, and there are so many fabulous add ons for it for fresh and fun looks!

  17. My favorite stand alone die set is the large stitched rectangles. I use them on practically all of my cards.

  18. Oh my gosh – these cards are fabulous! You have a fantastic Design Team! I am really loving the Giant Happy Birthday and Sending Big Hugs Dies – they make up a quick card when you don’t have a lot of time and need something quick.

  19. Such fun cards!
My favorite stand-alone die is the Stitched Sun Frame! And the Stitched Mug Frame too! Too had to pick just one!

  20. My favorite stand alone die would have to be the big happy birthday or the stitched alphabet set. Love all lawn fawn products so it is very hard to choose.

  21. I love the Magic Color Slider. I’d made color changing cards before but using the dies is so much easier and the cards turn out great! I’m a fan of all of Lawn Fawn’s interactive die sets.

  22. I’m gonna have to give a list of some of my most; Scalloped treat box w/ add-ons, quilted backdrop, goodie bag, mini snowflakes, treat box (w/ window,) and if I don’t stop here this list will get way too long.

  23. Of the stand-alone dies I currently own (still need to get the Build-A-Campsite set!) my fav is probably the Mini Picture Frames – cute and versatile!

  24. My favorite is the stitched hillsides border die set. I seem to use them in all my cards hehe!! 😀

  25. Love the versatility of all the scalloped and stitched circle, square, and rectangle dies and all the border dies, but my favorite stand-alone die (right now!) is the Magic Iris Birdhouse add-on! So cute!

  26. I just love Lawn Fawn stamps and dies and the inspiration all the videos and cards the team makes provide.

  27. The only stand alone die set I have is the mini snowflakes and I do love them very much!! I’d love to own the build an aquarium set. 😉

  28. All the build a…. leave such a lasting impression and I wish I had any of them. But, I think my top favorites I wish for would be the acorn house, the mushroom house and now this camping scene. Gosh they are so cute!

  29. I can’t pick only one favorite stand alone die!! I’m obsessed with interactive cards, and tend to use the magic picture changer the most!! I can’t wait to use the build a campsite…I think it will be a new fav too!!

  30. Of the ones that I have I love the reveal wheel and the stitched rectangles. Of the ones that I want?? I really, really want the quilted backdrop, the center picture window and the shadow box. :). Love your inspiration!!

  31. Whew, this one is easier than yesterday’s. 😉 My all-time favorite stand-alone die set is the Reveal Wheel. I love that one and use it more than any other.

  32. My favorite standalone die is the grass border. I love using it for Easter cards. I think I’ll try using it for Halloween cards this year and make black grass for night scenes!

  33. Hmmmmm I’ve narrowed it down to flippin awesome or sending big hugs. They’re both so great! Although I have several other favorites-the magic iris and magic picture changer for sure! I love lawn fawn so much

  34. What great projects from the designers! My favorite stand alone die set is probably the build a house set. Thank you for the chance to win!!

  35. Again – so hard to pick! It’s like habing to answer which one of your kids is your favorite… But since I have to I go with the backdrop dies. I know, it’s not really ONE die. But I love how you can layer them to add so much depth to a scene.

  36. Technically, my favorite stand alone die set is two sets – outside in stitched mug and stitched mug frame. I love all things tea, hot chocolate and cozy, which makes these sets so much fun.

  37. My favourite stand alone die sets are the stitched rectangle and stitched square stackables – can’t live without them!

  38. So many favorites!!! If I have to pick just one, my current favorite is the Tropical Leaves Backdrop. Love it just as much as the Scalloped Treat Box Beach House Add-on! (See what I did there… sneaked in another favorite! Ha!)

  39. Right now my favorite is the stitched cupcake die set. It’s so easy to get the kids to help make birthday cards for friends and family!

  40. The Build-a-Castle and Build-an-Aquarium are two faves. There are so many, it’s like Sophie’s Choice. If you are too young to know what that means, look up this early 80s movie.

Friends at LF, please forward this to Marine or I will try to DM her. Marine, that card is INCREDIBLE. Your attention to detail never ceases to amaze me. I copied / pasted the URL and sent it to several of my French students who love crafting (and one is a great stamper/ cardmaker) so that they could hear your Tonic accent. It’s super for them to listen to as young speakers of French.

Thanks so much to you all!

  41. I LOVE making box cards so my favorite stand-alone die is “Scalloped Box-Card Pop-Up”. It makes the most amazing interactive cards! After 2020, I’m just getting back into card making and reading about everyone’s favorite stamps and dies has gotten me excited about crafting again!

  42. Love anything “stitched” because it just gives even plain paper a little extra special touch! I use my stitched rectangles on almost every card, SOOOO versatile!

  43. I love the Pop Up Butterfly die!
Very versatile and could make cards for all occasions!
Thanks for the opportunity to win!

  44. Yet another impossible decision but if I have to pick one it will be the reveal wheel. So many cool things to make with it!

  45. The Gnome is adorable but my two used the most are tags and stitched rectangles. They are perfect for labels and inside white area for cards. I die cut a ton to have them on hand all the time.

  46. Your dies are my favorite, they are always awesome. I have to many to name that I like, so I will just pick one. I have several of the box dies, first one is the Gift box. Loved the cards, so adorable

  47. I love all of my (many) dies! My real go to though is a basic one, the one that holds a gift card in the center fold of the card, Gift Card Popup. Although also I super love the tiny gift box along with all it’s many add ons! Why hasn’t there been a dog add on yet? Thanks for this awesome week of inspiration! Love everything LF!!

  48. These are so fun. I think my favourite(s) are stitched rectangle. stitched rectangle frames and the brand new daisy!

  49. I love Oliver’s Stitched Alpha dies. I also think your stitched shaped dies are the bomb! You go above and beyond on your interactive dies–someday I hope to get the magic iris!

  50. My most used and probably favorite stand alone die is the stitches rectangles. I use them in tons of cards!

  51. My favorite stand alone die is the inside out pumpkin. I made fall wall art for all my daughters in law and one for myself the year it came out. I continue to make cards every year with it also. ❤️🎃

  52. I love several of your Stand Alone Dies but the Magic Iris is one of my favourite dies. I really hope your next release has some Christmas and Winter Add-ons.

  53. what fun cards! I once again will have to default to the most used standalone Lawn Fawn Die … because I like many – it would have to be the magic picture changer … I love using that for birthday cards! …. can not wait to see what tomorrow brings!

  54. So many insoiring projects from the team, yaay! My favourite stand alone die is the magic iris die.

  55. This is a hard one. I think the most used ones are the stitched rectangles. But I find the magic Iris the most interesting one. It has a big effect immediately.

  56. There are so many of the stand alone dies that I love but my favorite is the simple stripes diagonal die. I love making backgrounds in the striped patterns. I have made multi colored stripes, a Halloween stripe and a Christmas stripe to name a few.

  57. My favorite stand alone die set is the Stitched Party Banners. I love making banners and I use these a lot.

  58. I love inside outside stitched rectangles for the finished clean look they leave; most used is definitely Magic Iris the possibilities are endless & never ceases to delight the recipient

  59. Hands down the Magic Picture Changer is my fave stand alone die set! Loving the inspiration from the designers showcasing their fave sets!

  60. Lawn Fawn has THE best interactive dies and I LOVE all of your fabulous backdrops and stackables – I just can’t pick only one!!

  61. I love all the interactive dies but the one I use on almost all cards is my stitched rectangles. I just don’t think I could live without them : )

  62. O boy -this is a toughie – it’s a tie between the Shutter Card and the Goodie Bag. If I had to pick one, then the Goodie Bag because I love to use it to give small gifts to my friends!

  63. Oooo. My favorite stand alone die set is the changing picture. It’s a really neat effect that is tedious to hand-cut. It’s so cool!

  64. My favorite interactive die is the Let’s Toast pull tab. I think it works with almost every stamp set! I have used it many times.

  65. Stitched Hillside Borders-it’s the one I use the most. The Stitched Rectangles and the Stitched Mountain Borders would be right after that though!

  66. My gosh – where do I start!?! They are all amazing!
If I had to choose, I’d probably go with the shadow box dies. I love how quick they are to make, but they really have the wow factor.

  67. Lawn Fawn has SO many cute dies! Among my favorites are the circle stackables – including circles with stitches (so practical for both cardmakers and scrapbookers!), and I also like the spring sprig and the new tropical leaves dies.

  68. No question that smiley s’more is my favorite stand alone die. I like to put him in unexpected places like at a birthday party.

  69. My favorite lawn fawn stand alone die is the outside in stitched rectangle frames! Their perfect for everything!

  70. Bayou Backdrop is my favorite! You have so many wonderful stand alone dies and nice to see some fun cards here!

  71. My favorite stand alone die… son hard to choose! These days lm really loving the happy hibiscus 🌺 thanks for the inspiration, so beautiful the cards 😍

  72. SQUEAL!! LOVE the AMAZING Inspiration shared today!! My FAVORITE Stand Alone Die Set would have to be the Mug Dies!! I LOVE them!! I also LOVE the Gift Box Die Set and use it ALOT for my Gift Giving needs!! THANKS for sharing!!

  73. I do not know where to start to just pick one favorite die!
I love the Tiny box with add-ons, Build a House with add-ons,
shadow box with add-ons, Build a Castle & Build a Aquarium!
    They all make beautiful cards!

  74. My favorite is the stitched party banners. I also love louie’s alphabet, the ginger people and stitched apples! So hard to narrow it down. I love so many more, too!

  75. How do you pick just one? Such a hard question. I love the basics like the Grass Borders, Puffy Cloud Borders, not to mention the Scripty words series… Um, okay, maybe the Magic Colour Slider.

  76. There are so many stand alone dies that I love so it is hard to pick. I know that I do use the butterflies dies a lot for making embellishments. I guess that counts.

  77. Oh my… you guys are really making this hard!! I love the slimline dies and any of the interactive dies — the magic iris, flippin’ awesome, scalloped box card, and Oliver’s ABCs are my all time favorite dies!!

  78. this is a hard a hard one again, I have so many but I use the stitched rectangles, grassy hillsides, stitched hillsides and Oliver’s stitched ABC’s the most.

  79. My favorite stand alone die would have to be the large/small stitched rectangles stackable because I use them so often. But I have to add I love the scene building dies like the grass, hills and waves because I can do so much with them. Love seeing everyone’s favorite products.

  80. I have way too many favorite stand alone dies. 🙂 Some of my favorites are the tropical leaves backdrops, build-a-castle, build-a-house, acorn house, mushroom house, bayou backdrop, and all the gift boxes and bags.

  81. My favorite stand-a-lone die set has to be the Slimline Hillside die. I use it over and over again. As simple as it is. It creates the perfect scene on my cards.

  82. I have several favorites that I use all the time: little flowers, little music notes, ice scream you scream, mini pop-up butterflies and the outside-in-stitched-speech-bubbles.

  83. That’s a tough one!! I think shadow box is my current favorite but I haven’t had time to play with some of the other dies I have (like Magic Iris and at least five add ons).

  84. That’s tough, favorite? Or most used? I’d say I use the grassy borders, sentiment banners, and a lot of the line border sentiments all the time. I also like a lot of the coverplates that are simple backgrounds (like the quilt one). In terms of interactive – I don’t do many interactive sets but when I do, I tend to do reveal wheel. Again, there are just too many good ones to pick!
