Design Team Inspiration

The design team has made the most amazing samples! We also have a video at the end to introduce this fun new die set! Remember to click on the person’s name to see all of the details and leave these wonderful DT girls some comment love!

Latisha‘s card is so gorgeous! It’s a quick and easy way to send lots of love with pretty succulents simply cut from colorful cardstock!

Elena used the How You Bean? mason jar to create a clever terrarium for the succulents! I love how she added detail in the background with Just Stitching Double Circles!

Elise‘s bookmarks are just so cute! The Gotta Have Gingham Rainbow papers look so great as the backdrop for the Plant-A-Succulent images. And finishing them with encouraging messages in cute speech bubbles is another fantastic idea!

Mindy‘s card looks like she took a page out of a home design catalog! These succulents in pretty white pots are so stylish! She started with a Brick stenciled background, then she added the plants on shelves borrowed from Purrfectly Wicked! And of course, a cute little mouse is the perfect finishing touch!

Megan‘s card is so charming, and her sentiment is such punny fun! She combined Plant-A-Succulent with Henry’s ABCs to create a sweetly sincere way to say I’m sorry!

Audrey‘s card is a wonderful way to send birthday wishes to a succulent fan! I love the bold colors she used for the plants and the terra cotta look of the pots!

How amazing is Kara‘s gorgeous and creative wall of succulents? She used Simple Stripes: Landscape with Woodgrain cardstock for the wall, then she cut circles out for the plants! And her coloring of the succulents adds so much realistic detail!

Lynnette‘s pair of Plant-A-Succulent cards used the Simple Stripes dies as well! She created simple backdrops for her colorful plants to send love with hugs!

Grace used How You Bean? with the shaker add-on and vellum to give the jars a glassy look! This slimline design leaves lots of room for a custom Henry’s ABCs greeting with two cute terrariums!

Caly‘s Platform Pop-Up filled with succulents is so amazing! She inked the Plant-A-Succulent die cuts in awesome jewel tones before assembling them on the platform. Then she attached a cute greeting spelled out in Henry’s ABCS.

  25. My mother is the great lover of succulents, she misses the desert so much. I love stamping with them, but my track record of keeping them alive is not so great.

  26. I am a fan of succulents. I have quite a few of them in my garden. I don’t know the names of them, but I really like them. Your succulents are adorable!

  34. Awesome projects with the succulents!
I love the plants but I’m afraid I don’t do too well with the real ones…. I think I like to over-water my plants. Glad I can have paper succulents instead!

  35. Love what the designers did with the succulents dies! I have a love/hate relationship with succulents. I like that they’re easier to keep alive (I tend to kill house plants) but when I was younger I fell into a collection of cacti that were grouped together at my grandmother’s house. OUCH! Thank you for the chance to win!!

  36. I don’t have any succulents but I think they are pretty. My one indoor plant is a mini orchid. They don’t like a lot of water either.

  37. I’ve never really have had any luck with them, so I shy away from them. But I’m really liking the cards this week.

  38. I love succulents because I do not have a green thumb and I have been keeping them alive and adding a few here and there!

  39. OMGI I LOVE succulents! I have a ton in my back yard and in my house! Including spineless prickly pear, which are just like regular prickly pear just no giant thorns!!! And, my Aloe is HUGE and beautiful and has lots of daughters! I have a ton of succulent stamps, but no dies! LOVE these!!!

  40. My husband grows aloe. He loves them but we are always over run with baby aloe and can’t give them away fast enough.

  41. I adore “Junior,” a 30-year-old barrel cactus we inherited from my husband’s mother. When she purchased it, it was in a small Dixie cup. Junior is a very nice size now and thriving. The cards from the Design Team are fabulous.

  42. Hi,

I like succulents because they don’t need much watering, but I am sure I will have more fun making cards with them.

failure on my part to take care of
    them. Been a fun release.
    thanks for sharing

  45. I should be a fan of succulents, since I manage to neglect the other types of plants – you need to be a hardy plant to survive in my house. The succulents I have, are actually my daughter’s that she left behind when she moved out. Thankfully, they are still alive!

  46. I didn’t originally order this, because at first glance I wasn’t sure how often I would use it. After seeing samples though, I fell in love! It is just so cute and much more versatile then I originally thought it would be.

  47. I do like succulents, but I tend to overwater them 😫 I guess I will just stick to crafting with them 😁

  48. Yes Yes I am a fan of succulents because it it the ONLY Plant I do not kill – not kidding – I have no green thumb – adorable sets Thanks for having the intro and hop and an opportunity to enter — have a blessed day!

  51. I didn’t think I needed this set until I watched the video. All the cards are so cute they changed my mind. I like to look at succulents but I’m not very good at growing them.

  52. Love the succulents! I am always drawn to stamps, dies, and stencils with cactus or succulents. I have tried keeping them alive in pots, but always manage to let them die. I think I need to move to the desert climate.

  53. OMG I love these succulents dies!!! They are such a cute plant and can be used for so many things. I love giving them away as little party favors for bridal showers or baby showers

  54. I actually don’t know! I’ve never had one or thought about it too much. I think I might. I should get some.

  55. I adore this set and all the cute projects!! Top on my wish list ! I love plants of all kinds and especially succulents! Thank you!

  56. I LOVE succulents! But, I can’t keep the darn things alive, so I guess I’ll settle for the paper kind, LOL!

  57. This was fun thank you. Nope not really and yes because I have 3… a Mother’s in law tongue that was my grandmother’s when she was a child, a jade which was my father’s when he was young, and a Christmas Cactus that was gifted to us on the 1st breakfast of our honeymoon. It was terribly overgrown on the restaurant table and they gave me permission to snap off a clump as a memory. Thanks again. I think the bestest part of this game are the memories you bring back, which inspires cards for many…… and that doesn’t suc!

  58. Succulents are so pretty! I enjoy the fake ones-that way I don’t kill the plants. I definitely don’t have a green thumb. These card samples are wonderful!

  59. I do love succulents, I am not always successful in keeping them alive so this set will allow me to have some without having to care for them …

  60. I don’t have a “green thumb”, but I do love succulents! These Lawn Fawn succulents cards are so cute and inspiring!

  61. I have terrible luck with plants, butnlove succulents and they’re one of the few things I can actually keep alive 🙂

  62. I love these succulent dies! I am a fan of succulents and they are suppose to be the easiest plants to grow but I still have a hard time keeping them alive. 🙂 But I try 🙂

  63. Living in San Diego, succulents and cacti are everywhere. My favorite are the agaves, which sprout lots of cute babies!

  64. I love succulents! I have 4 on my window sill in the kitchen. I have 2 of them that need new pots! I love my Lawn Fawn succulents, too! They are so cute on a card.

  65. Such adorable inspiration! I do like succulents, but just don’t have the right light to keep them alive.

  66. I was not a fan of succulents until recently. I received a Christmas Cactus this year following my husband’s passing, and the plant is beautiful. It will be a great way to honor him each year when it blooms. I had to buy this set, and I look forward to all the cards I can create.

  67. I didn’t start out being a succulent lover, but they have grown on me! I’ve found that I love many varieties and have several throughout my home!

  68. Huge fan of succulents! Seems to be the only thing I am able to grow, besides basil and roses!!! When we lived in the dessert of Twentynine Palms (by Joshua Tree), I would see all kinds of succulents when I was out running. I really like the greens and teals and purples of them. 🙂
These are some fun succulent cards and none of then succ! 🙂 Thanks for the wonderful inspiration and all the fun chances to try to win prizes. Cheers Lawn Fawn to another fun release!!!!

  69. I like the idea of succulents because they are hardy, but I still manage to kill all plants that enter my care 🙁 so maybe I should stick to paper succulents made with this cute LF die! haha!

  70. I’m a fan of succulents! My not so green thumb can forget to water them for a while and they will still grow.

  71. I love it these projects are amazing. I love succulents I have hen and chick’s that are 5 generations old from my great grandmother

  72. I can’t say I’m a huge fan of succulents, as I’m not much of a plant person, but I’ve seen some really beautiful ones and I can see why people love them. All of the cards today look so nice; I particularly like Mindy’s card and Elise’s bookmarks!

  73. Succulents are the best! The only plant I can keep alive for a longer time! Wonderful projects today. I especially like the “wall” with plants coming out of it, looks like those cool walls you can find at galleries and restaurants

  74. Cute projects today, and I like succulents, but they don’t like me. I can grow most anything but them. I guess that’s the problem, they grow themselves & pretty much need to be left alone.

  75. I’m a fan of THESE succulents! LOL! I do have two in my home right now, that are 2 of only 3 plants that I’ve kept alive lately!

  76. I love succulents! I cannot grow them in real life, so paper ones are right up my alley. I can’t wait to make these part of my stash at home!!

  77. I’m a big fan of succulents. They are so varied and colored, that you can make a rainbow of them. These little dies are so cute, you can do so much with them. I want to make my own version of the mini slimline card from Chari.

  78. Succulents were never a favorite of mine. But, the more I see them the more I like them. Especially all the cute succulent cards!

  79. I am not much of a plant person. I can’t seem to keep anything alive, but succulents definitely take less care. This is an adorable set.

  80. I am terribly addicted to succulents and have them growing all over the place. I can’t seem to throw the pruned pieces away and just plant them somewhere else in the garden.

  81. I enjoy succulents, they are one of the easier plants to take care of and one that I’m pretty confident y cat won’t try to eat like she does the other flowering plants I have had in the past! =)

  82. I like succulents and other plants as well but the LF one are great, because they don’t have to be watered!’

  83. I like some succulents, but I don’t have any. I prefer taking care of vegetables, berries, and flowers in my garden. I don’t really enjoy houseplants, because I don’t like to take care of them.

  84. I love the designs that the DT created today! They’re so much fun! I’m not great with plants, but my daughter has several succulents that have found a home in my scrap room window.

  85. I love succulents!! They are great inside and outside. There is such a variety, too, just like the cute cards today. Thank you for such great ideas!

  86. I have been waiting for today ALL week! Such great projects from the team!

I <3 succulents, and they are probably the only plant I can really keep alive for any amount of time LOL

  87. This is such a fun set … I love succulents. I recently bought some in a VW Kombi van pot for my son and then in a teapot for myself!!

  88. Yes! I was given one when I was diagnosed with cancer and it only had 3 little branches. Now it has tons. I love to look at it because it shows how far I’ve come

  89. The set and the cards are amazing! Especially in love with the how you bean combination, I want to try it!
I like succulents, and other plants, a lot, so it’s a great set for me ^^

  91. I’m bad at keeping live any plants. But love all the paper flowers I can make from Lawn Fawn products. Succulants are easy plant so maybe I could handle it.
