Design Team Inspiration

The design team has made the most amazing samples! We also have a video at the end showcasing some fun ways of using Better Days! Remember to click on the person’s name to see all of the details and leave these wonderful DT girls some comment love!

The ducks are clearly lucky to be frolicking in this adorable Platform Pop-Up card by Tammy! The bright yellow of the Gotta Have Gingham Rainbow paper looks so pretty with the shades of blue she added! This bubbly scene gets lots of detail with Bubble Border and Bubbles of Joy!

Yainea sends charming Spring wishes using Giant Easter Messages and the cute Rub-A-Dub-Dub Flip-Flop ducks! I love how she white embossed the sentiment on kraft cardstock, then added bright color to the design!

Elena combined Henry’s ABCs with a sentiment from the original Rub-A-Dub-Dub to make this fun Father’s Day card! She masked off the bottom of the card to ink up the simple sky then layered the ducks on top!

Audrey inked and stenciled a rainy sky background so the cute ducks can enjoy some water play! I love how she combined the Simple Puffy Clouds with Simple Puffy Cloud Frames, those storm clouds are so cute!

Kara‘s sunny Platform Pop-Up card features Giant Happy Mother’s Day, Stitched Sun Frame and the cuties from Rub-A-Dub-Dub Flip-Flop! This charming design is so beautiful and will definitely bring some smiles on Mother’s Day!

For her lovely little scene, Elise combing the Rub-A-Dub-Dub Flip-Flop ducks with puddles and splashes from Beary Rainy Day! To add more detail to her simple design, she stenciled the background with clouds and grass!

These cute ducks are enjoying a bubble bath in Mindy‘s charming scene! She stenciled the background with Bubble Background Stencils to carry out the bubbly theme!

Latisha‘s card is so adorable! She layered die cut clouds, Meadow Borders and a Fancy Folded Banner on a Circle Stackable. Then to keep things simple and sweet, she stamped the ducks in Fake Tan ink on Sunflower cardstock, before popping them into the scene!

Marine‘s card is absolutely adorable! She combined the two Rub-A-Dub-Dub sets to make a fun in the tub scene! Gotta Have Gingham Rainbow makes a perfect backdrop with a layer of vellum to diffuse it a bit. I love all the fun she included with the rubber ducky in the bubble and the tiny duck flying after it, that is just too cute!

Grace created this bubbly scene with Bubbles of Joy, the Rub-A-Dub-Dub sets and Platform Pop-Up! She also used acetate to help fill the background with iridescent colored bubbles! This sweet card for mom brings in some fun with the punny sentiment!

Megan created a cheery garden scene for the cute Better Days bunny! Looks like she is in her element in this patch of carrots spelled out with Henry’s ABCs! The letters are growing in the Stitched Garden Border with carrot tops from the same die set! Just so clever!

Caly‘s Better Days card sends sweet get well soon wishes with Giant Get Well Soon! This mini slimline design also features Cloudy Stencil, Grassy Hillside Borders and Flower Market paper on the giant greeting!

Grace created a pair of beautiful cards featuring Magic Iris Floral Wreath Add-On! She used Flower Market paper in the background, Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Frames and the sweet little bunny from Better Days!

Elena created a sweet design combining Better Days with images from Butterfly Kisses

Yainea created an adorable Swish ‘n Pop Pull-Tab card using Better Days and the Butterfly Kisses Flip-Flop fox! Pull the tab and the butterfly flutters to the other side of the scene!

Tammy combined the Better Days bunny with the bear from Butterfly Kisses and filled a night sky with All the Clouds and the longer cloud from Unicorn Picnic! She paired the sentiment with Scripty Hugs, it’s a perfect match!

251 thoughts on “Lawn Fawn Intro: Better Days & Rub-A-Dub-Dub Flip-Flop

  1. Theres so many things that Lawn fawn can make utterly adorable that it’s hard to choose just one! Pandas, turtles, bats, rabbits, penguins and foxes are the first thought for me. More cats would never be a bad thing too 😄

I love so many of the creations today, but both of Grace’s are just incredible

  2. I would absolutely love to see a spa set (maybe the critters doing manicures/pedicures) so many puns to go along with it too…like, “Thank you Mani Much”, “Sorry for being so Pedi”, “Mani birthday wishes”, “You nailed it”, “I love your persoNAILity”, Happy Mother’s Day.
Could include a snail and then it’s like a double pun – “s-nail mail”
I seriously love everything you guys come out with. These sets are so cute and I love the Flip Flops. Makes for the current sets to go even further.

  3. I would love if you designed a summer scene where mice are hanging out & having fun at the beach!
Stamp sets would include a lounge chair, bucket with shovel, tiny sandcastle, beach ball, beach wear,
floaties, beach ball, sunglasses. lotion & so much more! 😎🧴🍹👙🩲🩱🤿🏐🥰

I love watching YouTube video’s & seeing beautiful card designs! 😊

  4. These card’s are just too cute, I would like to see some monkey’s featured in a new set I love anything that y’all come out with

  5. Got to love anything cats!! 🙂 Different breed ones….more mice!? More Squirrels!?
Love all the cards from the DT

  6. All of the above are great ideas. Love the mice at the beach idea. Also, how about the mice sewing, like in Cinderella. A baseball set would be cute, either the mice or the little people, or even the bigger kis. The mice camping! Bear scouts! Also, more squirrels please!

  7. I would love to see some more hedgehogs and some more cats. I love the Halloween cats but do not do halloween.

  8. I would love to see critters getting fit at the gym! Little dumbbells, a yoga mat, a step, water bottle and gym bag, a treadmill…it would be so cute! And great to encourage someone in their health journey

  9. I would like a general sport themed one where there are different kinds of balls, bats, sticks, etc, and other sports stuff, and maybe the fox in action since we already have ones that look like running or jumping so coordinating with those for the sports.

  10. sloths! I’ve already got the ones you have, but some cute scene accessories for them would be super cute. thanks for all the inspiration and the chances to win!

  11. I would love a sport themed set with football, baseball, basketball and hockey accessories for the critters to use. I am also hoping for a stamp of the cat peeking out of the pumpkin (like the one that is on the cute pin lawn fawn has).

  12. Greyhounds (think of all the greyt puns), meerkats, regional animal sets (like critters down under, but for other countries), donkeys, more (savoury) foods. Would also love a flip flop of plane and simple since all the planes face the same direction 😭

  13. I like the monkeys idea above. I also would like to see kangaroos or a mixture of the “down under” 🙂

  14. mice camping would be fun or a bear family camping and then specifically if the mice could have a tiny little tent that would be cute!!! And raccoons and an owl and moon & stars. And even tiny little mosquitos because no camping is complete without them!!!

  15. I would like to see critters at the playground. Mice or foxes going down a slide, bears on a swing, jumping rope, playing ball….maybe playing in a sprinkler.

  16. I absolutely LOVE Grace’s cards with the bunny from Better Days with the Magic Iris Floral Wreath Add-On SOOOO much, I have actually been obsessing over it and can’t wait to buy what I need to try and make this myself.
I don’t really know what to suggest for another critter or activity… I do know however that whatever is chosen next will be absolutely amazing!

  17. Monkeys, giraffes, lions
    Sewing, sports, beach

Lawn Fawn has so many amazing products. I look forward to each new release and seeing what the design team creates.

  18. I would like to see more Racoon ‘s hanging out with the animals. They are my best friends favorite and I would like to use it more to represent us!

  19. I would love a sports theme for volleyball, football, baseball/softball, basketball and hockey accessories for the critters.

  20. Love all of your critters. Would like to see a set with the mice working out/exercising. How cute would that be?!

  21. Sports, like baseball, ballet, gymnastics, football, soccer, maybe a set of kids with different sport balls, even tennis, …..

  22. I definitely like the mice at the beach idea! A line of birds sitting on a wire, along with some extra birds and an extra wire would be fun too.

  23. How about cats at the beach? They could have bikinis or swim trunks. They can be playing beach volleyball. Or jet skis. Or parasailing. Or boating and Fishing. Sooo many possibilities.

  24. I really want to see a kayaker/paddle boarded/surfer. Lane and ocean water sports. That would just be awesome. Any critter would do lol💚💚💚

  25. Some of the critters I’d love to see are wolverines since I think they’re so cute. And also some turkeys for the fall/Thanksgiving time.

  26. I’d like to see cute kittens stamps where the kittens are playing with a ball of yarn, napping and having fun with other imaginary kitty toys (like mice).

  27. I would love to see more tropical animals that work with the tropical backdrop. Love to see more monkeys, bigger lizards. Animals like that

  28. Skiing mice for Christmas!
And may I just say… that pop-up platform is just the best fun hilarious die EVER! And so easy to put together. LOVE IT!

  29. Sooo cute! I love the Carrots card. Lawn Fawn has done it again! Amazing products. What about racoons for new critters? We have skunks, mice, bunnies, and squirrels. I think racoons are super cute.

  30. Mice playing sports (tennis, soccer, basketball, football), mice at the beach, mice in space, and horses/ponies.

  31. Definitely a golf themed set along with other sports too. I love all the critters but would love to see more monkeys.

  32. A handyman set with tools would be cute, I think! It could be interchangeable with all the critters new and old!

  33. A dog set would be fun.

It would be cool to have some of the critters/icons in digital form so we could mix and match our own sets. (example – I love Berry Special, but I don’t buy sets with mice included). Then we could print and cut on a silhouette or cricut .

  34. What great inspiration, I always love your releases, this one was incredible! I would like to see sports, and giraffes would be fun to make scenes with!!
As always thanks for giving us all a chance to win!!

  35. Mice and monkeys. Activities: writing a letter, stitching, papercrafting, reading, flying a kite, fishing.
    Different kinds of birds.

  36. re the design team’s latest round of inspiration: CUTE OVERLOAD! Y’all have totally outdone yourselves! I am loving both of these new sets and all the adorable ways you’ve used them. I especially love the ducks paired with the “Wishing You a Joyful Spring” design — how lovely!

re “which critter/activity you would like to see featured in a new set”? Thanks for asking! But, oh my goodness, you already have sets for so many of the things I enjoy doing; I still have a mile-long wish list of older Lawn Fawn sets that I want to get, but haven’t yet (the smooth sailing set, for example…and all the “Plan on it” sets — I have one of them but want all the others, too; I use stamps in almost all my planner layouts.)

But I will say that you missed out on a recent sale because you don’t have any crochet-themed sets; other manufacturers have crochet-related sets, but I haven’t seen one of those from Lawn Fawn. I bought the knitting-themed Den Sweet Den set, but honestly, I don’t do much knitting these days — like maybe a couple of knitting projects a year, vs dozens of crochet projects a year. So I frequently stamp Lawn Fawn’s Den Sweet Den mama bear with a Simon Says Stamp stamp that depicts a crochet hook plus a ball of yarn. (I do sometimes use the stamp set the way you intended it to be used, too — just not as often.)

I also own and frequently use a bunch of other manufacturers hiking / outdoors and travel-themed stamps. Maybe you already have some of those that I’ve overlooked — but if not, you could try creating some backpacking critters, hiking critters, and / or traveling critters.

Thanks so much for being attentive to your customers, and for putting out such adorable, useful products. Thanks also for the giveaway! I sincerely appreciate everything you’re doing here!

  37. I have a thing for elephants so I’d like
to see them doing fun things.
    Thanks for sharing.
    txmlhl(at)yahoo(dot)com

  38. Red pandas!! Or you could do a collection of animals native to Asia with red panda, giant panda, snow leopard, orangutan, crane, etc… I just really want a red panda.

  39. Chicken! You have it with the one set but nothing else. Of course you can’t go wrong with more cats, dogs rabbits and mice in different scenes.

  40. I can’t get enough of the little bears, so any set featuring them is an instant win! A family of elephants, or an elephant and another tropical animal like a sloth, would also be cute to combine with the tropical leaves and Toucan Do It from last summer.

  41. So many cute cards today! Think I would like to see more shaggy type dogs – Bearded Collies, Old English Sheep dogs, Australian Shepherds, Border Collies. And more cats and mice would be great, too! I know that whatever you decide will be adorable!

  42. Today’s projects are outstanding. I love all critters and you have so many wonderful sets of them, I love it when the sets can be mixed, so I’d say more of the same critters, just in different situations. (Birthday themes are always very useful.)

  43. Better Days is so cute!! I would love to see more big, furry dogs! I have a Newfie and it would be cute to see them and other dogs swimming, at the beach, on boats, playing, retrieving things… I also like the sports themed ideas for the critters, especially running and working out. Cross Fit critters? Monkeys, horses, donkeys. Whatever critter you do will be super cute! Thank you!

  44. I think a “yay” set would be cute. I absolutely love the “yay Squirrel” and the “yay mouse.” It could be a celebration set for birthdays and graduations and probably a lot more. Another squirrel set would be cute, something outside the fall theme.

  45. Love all of the fabulous cards showcased today! I would love to see our favorite mice and bunny stamps with some larger images of the critters like in the new Beary Rainy Day set, which is one of my absolute favorite sets right now! As far as new critters…..perhaps some panda bears, sea critters or a set with a mix of different dog breeds; and for winter season, I would love to see a set of cute snow people.

  46. Wow! All of the designers projects are so great! I know you’ve already featured them a lot but I’m a dachshund mama, so they are always my favorites doing anything! I like it when the critters have eyes that are open! Otherwise it reminds me of pictures that all have somebody blinking in them! Lol!

  47. This is a loaded question! I absolutely love the mice! Beach for the mice! They are my favorite! But a new critter? Seals, whales, raccoons, donkeys, muskrats, MONKEYS!
Monkeys would be so fun! Whatever you come up with, it will be awesome!

  48. These are all so adorable!!! I love these little duckies!! I would love to see a family of Dachshunds!!! ❤️

  49. I would love to see a dog agility set, as my Maltese is in Agility. An Agility set would be dogs running through tunnels, jumping over hurdles, running through weave poles etc.

  50. I love the ideas suggested for mice at the beach, boating, or playing sports-baseball and soccer especially. They would also be cute climbing trees and picking fruit or rock climbing.

  51. Some more zoo animals would be cool like monkeys, lions, tigers, etc. Love all the inspiration today and all week!

  52. Basset hounds would be great. Pigs and chickens. Babies. Toddlers. Cars and trucks. Trains. Sports set. Circus and Amusment Parks. Hiking. Biking. Sledding. Your gnomes are cute, so expand them perhaps. Bugs. Chemistry set. Sciences/Math.

  53. I would love more ideas using the skunks from Stinkin cute added with squirrels ad raccoons would be pretty neat. Some Spring/Sumer activities. Sports- volley tennis soccer or just plain easy breezy summer time sweet tea sipping, lazy days on the porch, by the water or bbqing

  54. I would love to see pandas. I got excited when the birthday gift was a panda the first year but nothing since then. Thanks for a fabulous inspiration week! We truly appreciate it all! Crafty hugs!

  55. I would love to see something more masculine related. I have the hardest time with masculine cards. Maybe a sports theme set with the different sporting balls (tennis, baseball, football, soccer, basketball, etc), tennis net and racket. Maybe some hunting and fishing gear, a masculine theme paper. I love the cute sets but I sometimes need a more realistic set and some sympathy sets.

    1. This is true Crystal, it would be good to more masculine related items, like fishing gear and hunting gear especially sports.

  56. What fun projects! I love the ducks!
Another kitty set would be fabulous! And I love Halloween so a ghost set would be fun!

  57. My son has a crested gecko so I would love to see that made into a stamp. We also spend a lot of time at the lake paddle boarding and kayaking so a lake set would be fun too!

  58. These are the sweetest projects. Maybe it’s the Rub-a-dub ducks that has me thinking farm animals but maybe some sets with hens/chicks or piggies. More primates could be fun too – monkeys, gorillas. Any critters you do are so charming. Love them all.

  59. I would love to see the Bears play hockey or ski. I would love to see Critters from various countries too. For example, Canada could have a Goose, a Moose, a Beaver & maybe Buffalo. Thank you for the chance to win. Good luck everyone.

  60. What about some military people? There are so many people that defend our country against foreign and domestic threats and it would be a great way to honor them for Veterans Day, or at a promotion ceremony, or retirement!!!!! You have multiple services: United States Marine Corps, Navy, Army, Coast Guard, Merchant Marines, Air Force, … and then services in other countries that could be utilized/honoured.
You could make a camouflage outfit, boots, it gear, and a cover, sword, and ranks… All kinds of options.
    Just a thought. 😍

  61. Summer family fun – kids, parents ( who can be aunts and uncles) and grand parents enjoying family reunion games, beach and vacations, camping and hotels on the ocean! Fun! Of course the family dogs and cats all welcome!

  62. Love those ducks! I would like to see more different dog stamps and some more exotic animals. Thank you for the chance to win!!

  63. So many adorable cards!!!! My mind is blown like always. I would love to see a sports theme. I love the multi critter sets like “Really High, Five” and I think a sports team would be adorable!!!!!!!

    Happy Crafting

  64. I’d love to see Opossum critters featured in a new set! I don’t know which activity though, maybe having a party?

  65. Cute, cute and more cute!! I love all critters so anything would be awesome!
I am a bird nerd, however … lol

  66. I love all of your critters! The ducks are fantastic seeing the many ways to use them. Cats, Dogs, any critter can do fantastic things. Whatever you dream up and create will be wonderful.

  67. I love florals, butterflies and other bugs, my granddaughter loves wolves so maybe a set with a wolf family and moon and such. I love all your cute animals, anything you think up will be great!

  68. My grand-daughter is totally infatuated with horses and my grand-son loves to play baseball. Maybe you could make a horse themed or baseball themed set.

  69. Someone already mentioned dragons, which I think would be great. Mythical creatures are so fun to color because there is no one way to color them. Lots of options!

  70. I have been looking for stamps of dogs that look like my beautiful Bolognese babies. (Rare Italian breed, small white, crinkly fur, fluffy butts and curly tails.) they have a very distinctive look and silhouette. I would buy ALL THE THINGS! Seriously…please!!!🤣❤️

  71. I love all the critter sets, especially the flip flops! I love all their activities. Hmmm. I’d like to see an operatic barrel-chested bird, Thrashing rock and roll critter kids (with optional skateboards), and geezer critters (also thrashing, with optional walkers and canes). I have a musical family with a good sense of humor. (And the youngster/oldster set would be great Before and Afters!)

  72. I would love a fun set of monkeys or chimpanzees or orangutans with birds or to swing or move their arms up and down or slide on over. Or have a banana then magic picture just the monkey and it’s peel.

Red pandas with lots of bamboo
    Sea Turtles
    Sugar Gliders or bush babies
    River Otters

  73. I would love to see a set with giraffes and maybe playing sports. Also a big train where it would be an interactive die that has something pop out of a train car or the conductor waving, etc.

  74. How about a chipmunk? You’ve got squirrels but I don’t think I’ve seen chipmunks. Maybe some larger birds like an ostrich or an eagle or a heron?

I really LOVE the cards you shared above. They are just magnificent. Seeing them makes me feel inspired! Thanks so much for these emails and sample projects!!
    Lori S in PA

  75. It would be cute to have some sports themed activities. I know others have said you can find stuff other places, but they aren’t always sized right. It would be cute to have a beach volleyball set so the critters can play this summer!

  76. It would be nice to see critters playing sports – golf, baseball, hockey… I find it challenging to make more masculine cards.

  77. I would love to see a sporting themed set – but I prefer your sets that have a few different animals included. Really great inspiration this past week! Thanks Lawn Fawn!

  78. I would love to see accessories! Maybe little shopping bags/ purses for critters. Maybe some balls/board games/ decks of cards so they can play. Maybe some crafting items. Maybe more kitchen items or office/ living room items. Just lots of accessories would be awesome!

  79. I would like to see sports themed items. Tennis, volleyball, surfing etc. I love the critters. More variety of dog breeds would be lovely.

  80. I would like a sports set with lots of balls, nets, rackets, etc. I would also like another music set with a piano and other instruments.

  81. I would love to see a sympathy set..for people and for pets. Sadly, there is need for both of those recently.

  82. I would like to see some critters that would go with the fairy stamps. The fairies need a few more friends to play hide and seek with.

  83. I’m going to suggest horses doing different activities. I have a young crafter that I craft with and she rides & jumps. I have had a really hard time finding horse sets to buy/use with her.

  84. Gosh first off let me say how amazing Grace Camou’s designs are. She’s so inventive and creative! I love the acetate bubbles and especially her card with the rainbow in place of the middle “t” piece. Brilliant!
It’s hard to think of a critter that you guys haven’t already done! Maybe snakes? They can be adorable too – especially with your signature smiley faces!

  85. I love this! The rub-a-dub-dub set is one my most favorite sets! I’d love to see a set of with a variety of cute birds sometime .

  86. Love all this extra inspiration! Would like to see critters crafting (painting, drawing, sewing). And maybe doing sports or something like that. I also saw somebody suggesting spa / wellness, love that idea!

  87. I’d like to see panda, racoon, zebra, polecat, poodle and spa, circus, soccer, volleyball, yoga, painting, postman, world traveler with skylines of major cities, superheroes, grocery shopping ( I’d like a shopping cart), supermarket, pastry shop, fruit seller, carousel, train

  88. I would like to see a new dinosaur set, where they are at the beach or doing a holiday, like snow scenes or Mardi Gras or Halloween.

  89. I would just love to see more critters to add to the Car Critters set. How about a summer theme, with beach umbrellas, coolers, and fun punny sentiments to go with them? Maybe cats and dogs?.

  90. I would like to see the people stamps used in genealogy themes and with the words aunt, uncle, brother, sister, mother, father, great, cousin etc. anything genealogy

  91. Donkeys would be fun, surfing, accessories/clothing for all the critters…. Love all the amazing stamp sets you guys come up with!

  92. I would love to see a birthday set with goats, or guinea pigs!! Lawn Fawn critters are always the cutest ever!

  93. would love to see a set with service dogs (dogs with a blank harness that could be service or not) and a wheelchair. Or some more flower sets that can fill in backgrounds? But anything you do is good 🙂

  94. More/bigger caricature garden bugs… dragonflies, butterflies, ants, ladybugs, beetles, worms, etc. think like Lowly worm or Evinrude.

  95. I love, love, love your critters, but wouldn’t mind seeing some other cute caricature sets like cars or vehicles.

  96. Beauty shop set with make-up and hairspray, hair dryer, a barber chair and pole…
Movie theatre set with popcorn, soda, candy, tickets, seats then a large stand alone popcorn die with pieces…
