Caly created a lovely backdrop for her card with Birch Tree Stencils! The way she colored the Christmas tree adds so much interest to this simply lovely design! Her scene takes advantage of the Simple Road Border!

Mindy‘s gorgeous Autumn design features Pumpkin House and a cute little mouse! The Birch Trees stenciled in the background look so great and add subtle pattern!

And this cute Acorn House design which includes a few more mice looks so beautiful with a blue sky and more Birch Trees! Mindy used White Stencil Paste to show another way to add texture to the background.

Forest Backdrop frames Lynnette‘s cute red car so perfectly! With snowy Stitched Hillside Borders, embossed snowflakes and a Winter Big Scripty greeting, her design is so ready to send holiday cheer!

Elena‘s cute Deck the Car is traveling through a very snowy landscape! She combined Snow Flurries Backdrop with Let it Shine Starry Skies paper to create this fabulous shaker design! I love how she used Peppermint Cord to “tie down” the snow-covered Christmas tree, it’s so clever!

Latisha used colors that are so whimsical and happy to create her beautiful card! I love how she used glittery cardstock to add sparkle too! She also used the cute little sentiment from Snowball Fight!

Tammy‘s white trees and Frosties snowflakes create a look that so dramatic on the black background! It serves to let Deck the Car be the star of this amazing Platform Pop-Up card!

Home for the holidays is a wonderful theme for Megan‘s design that is so gorgeous! I love the bright green trees and the hot foiled snowflake background!

Wow, Audrey used the Birch Tree Stencils so brilliantly! They are a great backdrop for the embossed Giant Holiday Messages greeting! She added a few snowflakes from Snow Flurries Backdrop and then brought in some red with images from Joy to the Woods!

I love how Elise used Deck the Car to make an “anytime” hello card! She used a sentiment from Car Critters Christmas Add-On with Hello Border on a Stitched Cloud Backdrop!

Yainea‘s “merry” card is so whimsical! I love how she colored the car and tree to look “cartoony”! The Birch Trees stenciled on dark blue looks so pretty with the pink hot foiled greeting and Knit Picky Winter frame!

Kara used silver metallic cardstock for the car on this special design! She hot foiled the greeting and then used lots of layers of Knit Picky Winter paper and Peacock cardstock!

  1. We decorate the Christmas tree and the while house with Christmas songs playing in the background. My favourite part is making all the cookies, they always turn out so delicious 😋

    1. Definitely a Christmas tree with 40 years of ornaments we’ve collected! Front door wreath and little ceramic Christmas figures I collect!

  2. All our closest family live in different countries from us, so we’re away from home for most of the holiday season, but I still always decorate a little bit with particularly Scandinavian Christmas lights and advent candles and a wreath on the door. 🕯️🎄

  3. I decorate the tree and have loads of ornaments on the windowledges like snow globes and tealight holders and this year I will be doing a tier tray/hot chocolate station 🎄🥰

  4. We decorate the tree. My hubby hangs lights around the outside of the house. As we get older, and since our kids have moved away, we decorate less than we use to.

  5. I deck the halls by decorating my mantle with deer stocking holders, woodland animal stockings, homemade advent calendars and a banner. We hang up new and old kid made art and decorate the tree as a family.

  6. I have always loved Christmas, I decorate every room except the laundry room. I just love the idea of family all together and having a great time. During the childhood years is the best, as they get older is special but different. Loved all the cards today

  7. We decorate the tree, and I have a bunch of motorized ornaments that I display on top of the piano. Very interactive! 🙂

  8. I have boxes and boxes of Christmas decorations. It depends on the year how much I decorate. One thing we always have for sure is our Christmas tree in the middle of the living room window.

  9. Decking tbe halls us the usual tree and house decorations but every year I add some homemade crafts to the decorations either I the tree or decor so it always has personal touches ND over the years it’s great memories that build like putting back up the kids homemade decorations from when they were little.

  10. Our living room, dining room and kitchen are all decked out. A few accents in the bath. I have these really wide sills I
insisted my husband build in when we rebuilt the house, as I knew I could decorate them all! I will say the house is very Festive during the Holiday Season! A winter Wonderland! Fa La La La La Love that adorable car!

  11. We decorate the tree, family room, and dining room. With our boys in college now, just having them both home for the holidays will be special.

  12. We decorate the house inside and out for Christmas. Outside the roof is lined with snowflake lights and the trees have lights and ornaments. Inside, we have our tree and a little something in all the rooms, like Christmas towels, etc. The Elf on the Shelf comes out even though the kids “no longer believe” and they tell me my mom’s quilted advent calendar is still a must to fill, despite their ages.

  13. We have two trees at our house. A small tree upstairs and a bigger one in the living room with lots of hand-made ornaments.

  14. I am looking forward to setting the big tree up this year. We put out yard decorations and I drink my coffee out of my Christmas mugs.

  15. We deck the halls with trimming the tree and setting up a village under/around the tree on the floor with three trains and two tunnels. For years now I would add something new to our little village and now it is a large community with a downtown area, farm area, and boat harbor with a working light house. I also have things in the village that reminds us of different family members.

  16. It’s gotten earlier every year now so the tree will go up before Thanksgiving! Crazy? Nah, just festive fever!!! Love the little critters in the car on Grace’s card by the way!

  17. We put the tree up & decorate tree (soft homemade ornaments witth bells so we know when the 2 dogs get too close to tree and decorate outside with a Snoopy & Woodstock theme in yard and icicle lights on house.
    Melissa
    “Sunshine HoneyBee”

  18. I change the cover on the mailbox…a tree is usually put up…the nativity comes out…and cards begin arriving and are displayed. That is the basis of my decorating. Love the tree stencil!

  19. I decorate everything inside & out for Christmas! Half of my Christmas ornaments are hand made. I have several hand made cards (from other crafters that I have rcv’d over the years) that are displayed every year. I have deer, snowmen & a tree outside as well as a Nativity, of course.

  20. We decorate for Christmas each year. Lots of decorations and a tree inside and tons of lights outside. We pretty much go from Halloween decor to Christmas decor. Since we love Halloween so much we leave that out longer and then head into Christmas after thanksgiving.

  21. We put up a tree inside and lights outside the house. My kids’ favorite part is getting out the Santa inflatable. Santa is coming out of a chimney, on fire, and a reindeer is spraying him with a fire extinguisher! 🦌 🎅 🧯

  22. We have a tradition in our family of giving each kid a Christmas ornament on Christmas Eve and then when they move away from home they have those ornaments to take with them. So nothing matches, but every single one brings back a memory. My tree looks like a hot mess, I’m sure…but it’s full of love!

  23. I “deck the halls” mostly with Christmas trees and the wreath my mom made me. I also have some cool decorations that my aunt made for me.

  24. We decorate the tree, and the fireplace mantels. I also decorate several rooms. We have a tree and deer outside. I love Christmas!

  25. We decorate every room except our bedroom. My daughter decorates her room as well. All while drinking hot chocolate and listening to Christmas music!

  26. I have well over 100 nutcrackers!!!! So many I need to build a shelf to display all of them! of course next to my 9ft Christmas Tree and so many “wire lighted” critters outside!

  27. One of my favorite ways to deck the halls is putting out an ornament tree. I’ve been collecting ornaments for many years and love to put them on an ornament tree so they are the star of the show!

  28. I decorate using gnomes and flamingos! Flamingos are a newer thing so I don’t have too many but I will get there.

  29. I am a minimalist so my “decking the halls” involves a small Christmas tree, and some LED string lights. This year, I’m going to make some LF ornaments!

  30. I love Christmas so we have ornaments high and low, inside, outside… all over the place! LOVE the birch tree-stencil!!!

  31. Full on Christmas decorating for sure! Love decorating for the holidays! Christmas everywhere! Lol. Also fantastic inspiration today!

  32. I used to decorate the whole house. Not so much anymore due to our cats. It’s like taking a kid into a toy store. They go crazy! lol. So now we just decorate the tree and hope they don’t knock that over too, haha

  33. My “decking” is minimal… A Christmas tree, a string of amigarumi Christmas lights I made and our Nanoblock Christmas Village that we add to every year.

  34. I love Christmas time! I deck the halls by putting up the Christmas tree, lights and all my snowflakes, besides decorating the house.

  35. We put up the Christmas tree and special ornaments. The Three Kings ornaments always face east. We put the manger up and hide the baby Jesus until Christmas morning.

  36. We love to “deck the halls” at our house! We decorate the tree, the fireplace mantle, put something festive in every room, and especially like to decorate the front porch! So cozy!

  37. Hubby and I work together to “deck the halls”. I decorate the inside of the house and he handles the outside. And then we work together on the tree. My favorite is to decorate our fireplace mantel, which we only got a couple of years ago when we bought our first house. I love hanging the stockings for us and the doggies!

  38. We put up and decorate an artificial tree , put out our nutcracker collection and other decorations. This year we’re in a new house so I’ll have to figure out a whole new layout!

  39. Deck the halls with a decorated christmas tree, and many little holiday and winter knick-knacks around the house! And a wreath for the front door of course!

  40. We hang lights on the house and a club of trees. White icicle lights on the house and blue on the trees. On the inside we set up two trees. Both with pink and gold beaded garlands. The other decorations on the trees are changing over from the ornaments bought for children as they grew up to items that reflect the interest of my husband and me. Gave the kids their ornaments several years ago. Since then the tree isn’t the same. It no longer tells the story of our children growing up Time for it to tell a new story.

  41. We put up 4 trees every year. One in the family room, one in the living room, and one in each bedroom (smaller ones). They all have different colors and themes. This was a compromise for not being able to decide on a color combo/theme for one tree. 😂

  42. I start putting up my Village houses on November 1st and make little scenes throughout the house. I feel like I need an electrician sometimes with all my hidden cords, power strips and adaptors! 😂 I keep them up through January. Then all the traditional decorations as well with tree, fireplace, railings etc. it’s a lot of work but I love it.

  43. Our house is very small here. Most of them are! So we hardly have space for decorations and tree! But i do try to put up some of my favourite christmas pieces, like a wobbler santa, snowglobes etc!

  44. We have a beautiful fresh tree decorated every year. We also have 35 handmade wooden Santas and 75 nativity sets that are placed around the house. They are all beautiful!

  45. I would decorate every room if I had the time and storage! We put up lights and wreaths, a tree, my Santa collection, and lots of baubles in the dining room…

  46. Christmas is my favorite time to decorate!
We put the tree up, usually with A Charlie Brown Christmas soundtrack in the background . I put the Snowman mantle scarf on the mantle with the Precious Moments Christmas statues on it, and hang the wreath on the door,
So much fun to deck the halls!

  47. We decorate the tree, put a wreath on the door and lights out front. We also have a LEGO Christmas village that we reconstruct every year.

  48. I love the car..so cute!! We decorate the tree and fireplace mantle. We have Christmas music and hot cocoa. Lots of baking too!!

  49. I love setting up my Christmas village around the house and decorating the tree with our ornaments that we have gotten from all of our adventures!

  50. So much fun with this cute car, and I love the birch tree stencils too!
I love adding some very special antique crystals to my Christmas tree each year! The crystals belonged to my Mom, so they hold a very dear memory for me.

  51. So something odd the my husband and i do is splatter paint on our Christmas tree.
We known it’s odd but it has become our tradition and love it.

  52. Decorating inside & out with lights, Christmas tree, wreath, & Santa both at our house & our kids is our Deck the Halls!

  53. Since we live in an apartment, we like to decorate the window with lights and Christmas decorations to help cheer up anyone of our neighbors walking by. we also decorate the Christmas Tree.

  54. We like to have a little Christmas light war, with the neighbors. We put up lights in their yard while they are not home, and they do the same. It a lot of fun.

  55. We decorate for the holidays with a Christmas tree and wooden advent calendar that I painted and used Lawn Fawn paper and stamps to decorate.

  56. We deck the halls with a Christmas Tree, Winter Village display on the mantle, and a Lego winter display on the dining room table plus all the lights and lawn decorations outside! Go big or go home as we like to say! lol

  57. Definitely a Christmas tree with 40 years of ornaments we’ve collected! Front door wreath and little ceramic Christmas figures I collect!

  58. We decorate our house with a Christmas tree and knickknacks in the bookshelves. If we’ll be in town on Xmas day, I’ll deck out the upstairs banisters and do another small tree upstairs too. It’s a sad day when all the holiday decorations come down.

  59. I go all out for Chrismas, both inside and out! Lots of lights and yard decorations outside, and a tree, nativity set, load of mantle decorations and lots of other items inside!

  60. We have just a few outside lights, but inside is like a winter wonderland for the grand kids and nephews and nieces

  61. I love to paper piece. I agree that it’s just like working on a jigsaw puzzle. I deck the halls with pieces that I have either made or collected over the years. I have 2 trees. One that has matching ornaments and one that has sentimental ornaments that the kids made or ones that mark special occasions.

  62. I left all the Christmas deco with my daughter when I moved to my cottage. Since then I bought a living potted Wollemi pine and use it for my Christmas tree. It’s a perfect tabletop tree, decorated simply with tinsel & star. I put a handmade wreath on the front door & call it all done.

  63. Our main deck the halls is when we decorate the tree (if we are not traveling for Christmas) and we always decorate the mantle! Thank you!

  64. We have two Christmas trees and when we visited Europe at Christmas we went to all the Christmas markets and collected an ornament or mug from each one and we display them reminding us of our beautiful memories

  65. I like to deck the halls by putting up a big tree & a couple of little trees. My little trees are all coke decorations. I also put up stockings for my husband and I and all our kids & grandkids & our dog. 🙂

  66. I deck the halls with twinkling white lights in my living room window, a big beautiful tree inside and a decorated mantel.

  67. We start with a Christmas Monopoly game on Christmas Eve, then if everyone’s feelings aren’t to upset about losing we put up all of our Christmas decorations and listen and dance to music along the way!

  68. We do a lot of decking of the halls – our tree, Dickens Christmas Village and my Jim Shore Santa figurines. Love all the projects for this set.

  69. Just love this cute little car! It’s a tradition to go out and cut a tree to decorate. We put it in the back of the truck not on the top of the car! Lol

  70. I have a tree in my living room decorated with Lenox ornaments that I’ve collected over the last 40yrs!
I have Lenox China Jewel Nativity 32 pc. set that I keep on display yr. round!
I also love making homemade cookies!

  71. We decorate the whole house. I try to include so,e kind of Christmas decorations in every room. We have several Christmas trees too.

  72. We put an obnoxious amount of Christmas lights up outside the Sunday after thanksgiving! It’s my favorite because the whole family does it together!

  73. I love the car! It’s adorable! We put decorations all over the house, pretty much every room, and lights and inflatable characters outside.

  74. We decorate our tree with ornaments we have collected over the years from various trips and put up decorations all over the house. LOVE the xmas season!

  75. It’s hard because we have small spaces. But it is my favourite time of the year. I usually have my decorations and tree up before Dec 1 lol. 💚💚💚

  76. We don’t entertain at Christmas (small house) so for years I haven’t decorated at all. Now that I have grandchildren however, I put up a small tree that my young grandson decorates completely. I love it!

  77. This little car looks lovely in all the scenes! I go all out for Christmas – half of our attic is full of Christmas decorations of sorts – I love them, and every year add something to our assortment 😂 Christmas everything in our homes, from pjs through mugs to pillows, cushions and bedclothes!

  78. Because we have silly kitties, we have a fiber optic tree. We decorate it with all things beachy. We have mermaids, seashells, crabs, flip flops, beach bags, star fish, etc. We love it. We have cute inflatable holiday cats.

  79. I loved decorating the tree and house when I was growing up. My dad would pull the tree down from the roof and I would have to wait until he put it up and strung the lights around it before I could decorate it. I would choose a colour theme and then select the decorations and tinsel from there.
My husband and I now don’t really have the space to do any decorating, but I have some small plush bears and a reindeer I put up on the book shelves, plus I like to hang my Darth Vadar decoration and see how long it takes my husband to find him 🙂 lol
Since getting the Cheery Deer and Jolly Christmas Tree last year, I have made them into magnets to put up on the fridge.

  80. I usually leave decorating till the last minute and then it looks like a Christmas shop exploded in my house. There is glitter everywhere!

  81. I put a wreath on our front door and decorate a Christmas tree. I have all kinds of cute Christmas decor that I put all around the house.

  82. Lol, that big car is fun!
My DD is old enough to do the tree on her own so I let her do the majority of that and then I put the little ornaments on bookcases, tables, hanging garland etc.

  83. I set up a few Christmas lights and have some fun apothecary jars filled with ornaments. I have a very minimal approach to decorating because cats lol. No tree here.

  84. Lawn Fawn creates the cutest products!!! I love to create with your stamps and dies. My favorite way to Deck the Halls is to make little tags and wrap gorgeous presents. I love wrapping paper, ribbons, and tags!

  85. I love to decorate for the holidays! We put up a tree, a wreath outside the door, lights outside, garland on the mantle and fireplace, and if I have time I build a little snow village on our bookcase.

  86. This year we are going to have the tree filled with crazy ornaments. So much fun and really looking forward to it. The rest of the house is quite simple with a few small christmas decorations.

  87. Christmas is a tough holiday for me as my daughter passed away 3 days after Christmas 5 years ago this Christmas. However, I usually get a real tree and decorate it and I have 2 lighted palm trees I decorated with Starbucks and beachy ornaments!

  88. Oh goodness, decking the halls is one of my favorite family moments – we all gather together and turn on holiday tunes while trimming the tree, hanging the stockings and stringing the garland… It’s simply magical

  89. I love that Platform Pop Up with car! I over decorate for Christmas every year and I can’t wait to do it again this year!

  90. Christmas is my favorite time of the year so everything gets decorated. Lots of lights and two trees. Absolutley love it ❤️

  91. I enjoy having my grandchildren help me decorate for the holidays so it’s always a surprise where they put the decorations. I love the birch tree stencil. It’s so versatile!

  92. First, Deck the Car is adorable! I think it would be perfect for my niece who has recently gotten her drivers license and my nephew when he does soon!

  93. We have boxes of holiday decorations plus loads of things that won’t fit in a box. My favorite is a life size singing dancing santa claus.

  95. We deck the halls by putting Christmas lights on the front of the house and a nativities and a Christmas tree inside.

  96. I live in an apartment, so decking the halls is all about lighting up my windows. Every year I have a blast deciding on my color scheme and then having at it.

  97. We put garland down the stairs banister and lights up around the chicken coop! We cut down our own tree from our yard, and decorate it it all up! We put snowflake lights around the kitchen windows!
Special holiday blankets come out on the couches! Love Christmas!

  98. We deck the halls by wrapping out picture frames and doors as presents and of course decorating the tree, listening to Christmas music and making baked goods to share 🙂

  99. We put up a tree, decorate and hang the stockings on our mantle and have decorations throughout the house and have a big wreath we hang outside that covers most of our front window. I love listening to Xmas music and movies while decorating!

  100. Wow! These cards are beautiful but I think Audrey’s is a show stopper! I love to decorate with snowmen etc as well as Christmas so my snow decos can stay up all season

  101. We put up 3 trees, 1 in the front room, so it can be seen from outside, 1 in the den and 1 in the basement. It is a busy time.

  102. We deck the halls, front door, front room, kitchen and our cafe and shop… so lucky to be able to go for it at Christmas!!!

  103. To be honest I probably go a little overboard with the holiday decor. But the most essential items for me are a Christmas tree, my nativity set and multiple wreathes (ideally, one on every door outside and inside the house).

  104. Lovely designs…I wish I had more time!!!
We don’t decorate anymore as our Family is all gone except for some Nieces and I haven’t seen them in over 3 years. I do bring down a homemade tree from a Birch Branch and wove artificial tree limbs into and egg shape at the top with small white lights. I stuck the branch into a pail of cement, let it dry and then made a burlap bag and a bow around the cement.

  105. We only do a tree and few things inside since our family lives 6 hours away, but outside we have lights everywhere and ornaments hanging from all our bare trees.

  106. I LOVE the ambience of the lights. We do white lights on our tree and currently do kid-friendly ornaments. I like to hang up our Christmas cards and add lots of fun Christmas-y things all around the house.

  107. We have a wreath made by my daughters, that goes on the front door, and a Christmas tree shape cut out of particle board, with lots of cup hooks on which to hang decorations.

  108. It starts to feel like the holidays once we have put up the Christmas tree and listened to “Boney M’s” Christmas album.

  109. We decorate the Christmas tree With home made ornaments our children made over the years plus my x-stitch ornaments and tiny cards too

  110. We “deck the halls” with decorated Christmas trees, Hallmark snowmen, vintage finds and fun festive decorations. This year we will be in a new home, so it will be fun to have more space to decorate.
