I love how Chari combined Spring Basket and Veggie Happy to make this charming Reveal Wheel card!

And it’s always so much fun to a sweet decoration to the inside! It’s a cute little surprise!

Megan sends an encouraging and punny message with the help of Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment: Bunny Puns! Her adorable scene features Spring Basket, Carrot ’bout You and Eggstraordinary Easter!

Elise‘s Spring Basket design is so lovely! The pretty baskets of flowers with the adorable bunny are a perfect way to “just say hello“! I love the Lacy Rectangle background in Bitsy Blooms paper!

Puns are perfect for sending a special message, and so is the most adorable “hot air balloon”! Grace used Outside In Stitched Strawberry and Stitched Strawberry Frame to make the carrot shaped balloon! And then she attached the Build-A-Basket: Easter and Build-A-Bunny for some high-flying fun!

Grace stenciled clouds on a Scalloped Slimline with Hearts: Portrait panel and then added cute little stitched clouds from Platform Pop-Up Cloud Inserts. And of course, the cute pun is from Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment: Bunny Puns!

Send some sunshine to someone special with Audrey‘s brilliant card! She combined It’s a Bird, Heart Tree and All the Clouds to create a scene around Giant Hello Sunshine! There’s even more sunshine with papers from Bitsy Blooms and Fruit Salad!

Latisha‘s card is so pretty and perfect to let a friend know you are thinking of them! She created a beautiful background by layering Tropical Leaves Backdrop in white on a white card base. Then she added lovely color with Plant-A-Succulent, finishing with a simple sentiment!

Marine filled a tall slimline card with so much fun and lots of carrots! She started with our new sets Heart Tree and Treat Cart Add-On: Smoothies ‘n Juice then added lots of cuteness from other sets!

The scene at the top features Hay There, Hayrides and Hay There, Hayrides Bunny Add-On! Marine also included more carrots from Carrot ’bout You and Some Bunny!

There’s also Treat Cart and Treat Cart Add-On: Coffee to fill in this cute vignette! And it all comes together to wish a sweet friend a happy day!

“Sending smiles”, “you got this” and “you’re so tweet” are thoughtful ways to say I’m thinking of you! Lynnette‘s card is so cute with It’s a Bird, Heart Tree and sunny patterned papers!

Elena‘s endearing Build-A-Bunny card is sure to create smiles! The little bunny in overalls looks so cute surrounded by Lovely Lily of the Valley! And he’s thinking of you with a Reveal Wheel Thought Bubble Add-On and a sentiment from Happy Hugs!

205 thoughts on “March Inspiration Week – Thinking of You & Hello

  1. Lawn Fawn has so many cute sentiments! I usually choose whatever goes with my images. But “hello” is always a good one!

    1. I really just depends on who I am sending card to. Lawn Fawn has so many great ones. It’s hard to chose.

  2. What about some extra cute LF TURTLES (big and small to make a family) and play on the word “TURTLE-Y instead of totally…”You are “turtley” awesome, loved, adored, funny, cute, kind etc. And I “turtle-y” love you (for valentines day!) And “have a “turtley” great birthday, anniversary, day retirement etc.

  3. It is hard to decide because it depends on why the card is being sent. I guess mostly “Just because God brought you to my mind today.”

  4. I send a lot of Thinking of You but sometimes Just Because. I need to get my succulent dies out as I love what was created with them today. Love the inspiration!

  5. ‘Sending a smile’ is my go to. Would love to see a ‘hello’ sentiment set for the simply celebrate critters though – like multiple ways/languages to say ‘hello’

  6. “Thinking of you” covers a lot of situations, (plus, it’s the one sentiment I have lots of options for.)

  7. A general Hello or Thinking about you is my go to, but I also like matching the card like using a You’re So Sweet on a card with ice cream or candy.

  8. Definitely just “love you” if it’s going to family or a close friend. If someone not as close then “thinking of you”

  9. Depends who I’m sending the card to. But, for favorite it would be “I love you”. Always let people know how you feel and that you care about them

  10. Hi is my favorite. I don’t usually send these sorts of cards. I usually send thank you cards for little things people have done.

  11. The design team’s projects are next level today! The carrot balloon!? And the succulent floral arrangement gave me heart eyes!

I like a simple “hello” for an everyday card. But maybe in a fancy font or big alphabet.

  12. I make a lot of cards with the sentiment “hello” or “hugs” and then add a more specific sub sentiment when I know who I am sending the card to and the reason.

  13. I use “So thankful for you” on many of my cards. I like to tell my family and friends how thankful I am to have them in my life. ♥️

  14. Not sure, I don’t send too many just because cards, mostly just send birthday, anniversary, or get well cards.

  15. I often go for “thinking of you” or “just a note” sayings. Especially as I have the line borders for these!

  16. This doesn’t sound very creative because today’s theme is thinking of you and hello, but those are my two general just because sentiments!!

  17. “Sending hugs” or “just because I love you”. I have a custom stamp for the back of every card that includes a Dandeloin and says Handmade Wishes by Candi.

  18. I’m a bit partial to the simple “hello” because that can be used for pretty much any reason. “Sending hugs” is a nice way to send encouragement to a friend who might be having a tough time, though, so I love having that in my stash.

  19. So many sentiments that could be paired with “just because”. The beauty of Lawn Fawn sentiments is the ability to mix and match them.

  20. I get lazy when it comes to sentiments so sometimes just leave it off. But just because is likely “Thinking of You” or “Happy Day/Mail” or such.

  21. Hello friend would be my favorite and it got me to thinking what about sentiments for friends. Like my tribe, my people, you are my person, you know friendship things like that. That might be a fun sentiment set to create.

  22. I don’t make many just because cards, but usually just put hello or hi. That allows me to use for anything.

  23. I like to put “just a card” or “hello” Also, “thinking of you” works well too. I love to send cards just because I’m thinking about someone and want them to know.

  24. I like to use “Sending Hugs”, or “You are Awesome”… I think they would really brighten up anyone’s day.

  25. I like using Just Because and Thinking of You. Lets people know they’re in your thoughts and you don’t need any particular reason to send some handmade kindness.

  26. I think it depends upon the occasion I’m making the card for, but I usually go with something punny if that’s appropriate.

  27. I love using anything punny to make the recipient smile. Every year for a volunteer based event I run weekly, I make a luggage tag at the end of the year as a little thank you to the volunteers. 2024 was the little cluster of grapes with the caption “you are the grape-est.”

  28. I love Just Because cards. They are what I like to send a lot. I like sentiments such as: Thinking of You, Just Saying Hi, Hope you have a good day, stuff like that.

  29. For a general card, I like “Thinking of you” because I can be sent as a get well, birthday, or any other occasion card by adding an additional sentiment on the inside

  30. I love a simple “Hello” sentiment. I also like “Sending Hugs”. Thinking of You is a good, all-purpose sentiment, but sometimes it can seem more formal/serious in tone. I like anything upbeat – Oh Happy Day, Sending Sunshine, as I think these can work for many occasions, birthday, friendship, etc.

  31. As a crazy bunny lady, I sign my cards from both my buns, so any rabbit puns work for us.
Somebunny loves you is always a good one!

  32. My absolute favorite sentiment is a made one with the alphabet stamps and it’s “I love the crap out of you!” I use it so much and everyone gets a kick out of it. loving the carrot hot air balloons.

  33. It really depends on who I am sending the card to but think “thinking of you” or “hello” I like to use

  34. hmmm, I don’t get a chance to make many just because cards these days ….. too many birthday and holiday cards!
