Jessica Spencer joins us today to share a fantastic birthday card featuring a cute critter from Silly Goose! She included creative stenciling and a punny saying to send long distance birthday hugs to a friend far away.
Jess created a yummy three tier cake using Cake It Easy and Cake It Easy Add-On, setting it on a cake pedestal from Build-A-Cake Add-On. And then she added the cute Silly Goose with speech bubbles filled with fun sayings. She used the coordinating coloring stencils to fill all the images with inky color.
Jess then created an amazing backdrop with lots of layers! First, she cut a Postage Rectangle Stackable panel from All the Sparkles striped paper, stenciling it with Balloons Stencil. I love how the patterned paper shows through the stenciled balloons. Then she layered it on a Hyacinth Small Stitched Rectangle, and a Large Stitched Rectangle in colorful pastel Rainbow Ever After petite paper.
For the sweet sentiment inside the card, Jessica combined Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment: Birthday, Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment: Love and Long Distance Hugs.
Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful birthday inspiration, Jessica!

Thanks so much for visiting, have an amazing day!
Such a fun idea to combine the stamped cake with the die cake base.
Love the card! The Hyacinth background is so good!!!! Love the wood grain cake plate / pedestal, too!! And the geese are among my favorites in the LF critter collection.
