Renata’s Gorgeous Spring Cards Featuring Big Blossom Backdrop

Renata created two beautifully unique cards for Spring featuring Big Blossom Backdrop and I Like Big Butterflies!

I love the beautiful tone-on-tone background that Renata created with Flower Garden Backdrop! She used Lilac cardstock for the backdrop layering it on another panel of Lilac cardstock and it looks so elegant! Then she stamped the greeting from Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment: Spring in Lavender Ink on a Fancy Wavy Banner.

Next, Renata cut a Stitched Scalloped Oval to arrange the Big Blossom Backdrop: Landscape blooms. She cut the flowers from Ballet Slippers cardstock, then she added shading with Copic markers. She did the same with the stems and leaves using Minty Fresh and Sage Leaf cardstock. For the flower centers she cut them from Champagne Metallic cardstock. So shiny!

And then to finish this brilliant card design, she colored one of the cute butterflies from I Like Big Butterflies to add to the flower garden!

To create her second card, Renata started with Big Blossom Backdrop: Portrait. She cut the backdrop and flowers from bright colors of cardstock. She added fun texture by cutting the flower centers from Woodgrain cardstock.

She arranged this backdrop on a Meadow Backdrop: Portrait in a Blissful Blossoms flower pattern adding a Stitched Rectangle Frame in Cilantro on top.

To create the sunny background, Renata started with Rainbow Ever After ombré paper. Then she stenciled with Sunray Background Stencil in Yeti ink! Finally, she added all the cuteness with images from I Like Big Butterflies and A Bug Deal!
