Introducing!

Today is our showcase of Build-A-Drink Pitcher! Sunshine and lemonade go hand-in-hand for summer fun! This pitcher is a great way to send cool summer greetings. Shake up more fun by using the frame and solid shapes to create an interactive shaker project. Fill them with fun Tiny Treasures for an extra special touch! 

And there’s more fruity fun with Fresh Lemonade and Fruit Salad Background Stencils! Paper piece some summer fun with the adorable Fresh Lemonade character! Make assembly a breeze by applying Double Sided Adhesive Sheets to the cardstock or patterned paper before die cutting. Then create a background of sweet summer fruits with our new Fruit Salad Background Stencils set of 5 layering stencils.

And we are also introducing Folksy Petal Border to add a fanciful folksy detail to your cards and projects! And we have Scripty Smile Outline Add-On and Scripty Hello Outline Add-On that coordinate and a border effect to the scripty greetings!

Design Team Inspiration

The design team has made the most amazing samples! We also have a video at the end showcasing some fun ways of using all these new goodies! Remember to click on the person’s name to see all of the details and then leave these wonderful DT girls some comment love!

Elise‘s Build-A-Pitcher card is so pretty filled with summer color! Giddy for Gingham paper is the perfect background for the shaker pitcher with cute Tiny Treasures Lemon Clay Pieces and Sunshine Sequin Mix! And then bright lemons and Scripty Smile layered on Scripty Smile Outline Add-On add a beautiful finish!

Squeeze the day! Mindy‘s card is so cheerful with the Fruit Salad Background Stencils! It creates a colorful backdrop for the Fresh Lemonade character who totally steals the show, he’s just so cute!

Lynnette‘s beautiful card features our new Folksy Petal Border in the soft colors of the Macaron cardstock pack. She added a Stitched Rectangle Frame along with Scripty Smile layered on Scripty Smile Outline Add-On. Then she embellished with sweet little flowers.

Tammy‘s card is so creative with a chalkboard style cafe sign! It’s the perfect way to showcase her beautiful pitcher of lemonade embellished with lemons and Lemon Vine Border. The color Bunting Borders bring in the summertime fun!

She made the sign using Woodgrain cardstock, cutting it with a Stitched Rectangle. Then she used a Stitched Rounded Rectangle to cut the bottom piece and a Stitched Circle to add the notched detail at the top. She trimmed each piece to size before attaching them to a Stitched Rectangle Frame backed with Black Licorice cardstock.

The blue gingham from Giddy for Gingham petite pack is so beautiful with Latisha‘s lovely Build-A-Drink Pitcher! The Lemon Vine Border is so perfect with the larger lemons that come with the pitcher! I love that she added vellum to the pitcher, giving it the look of frosted glass.

Oh, my goodness, Audrey‘s card is so amazing! It screams summer with the beautifully stenciled fruit! I love how she inked with pink over the top of the Fruit Salad Background and then gave it a splashed with water look.

Rebecca’s delightful design is so perfect for sending a happy wish! She paired Fresh Lemonade with Lemon Border then arranged them on a background stenciled with Draped Ribbons, so “zesty”!

Grace created a fun Build-A-Drink Pitcher filled with a fruity mix of fun! She filled the shaker pitcher with Tiny Treasures Mixed Fruit Clay Pieces, then she arranged fruit from other Build-A-Drink sets with a pineapple from Tiny Fruit Tags, so clever!

Rebecca’s Scripty Hello card is so bright and cheery with a rainbow of Folksy Petal Borders! She used a Reverse Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Window to frame all that happiness and layered the greeting on the coordinating Scripty Hello Outline Add-On.

That sweet pink Giddy for Gingham paper is a pretty tablecloth for Caly’s Build-A-Drink Pitcher! She filled the pitcher with Lemon Clay Pieces, then she created a beautiful arrangement of lemons to finish her design!

  4. I like ice-cold Spindrift sparkling water-fuji apple. It’s like drinking a soda, but isn’t super sweet. Basically carbonated water flavored with real apples, and only 20 calories. But if I want something stronger, then a blended margarita.

  7. My favourite summer drink would have to be Earl Gray Sun Tea…brewed in the Sun, served over lots of ice and limes and lemons…so refreshing!

  11. I will always go with a good old Dieter coke, no ice, no lemon. And if I want to go a bit fancy Illusion go with either an Aperol Spritz or – a new favorite since our cruise in january – a Bailey’s Colada.

  35. Eze-peazy, lemon squeezy, I love lemonade of course. At sunset, I especially love some lemonade mixed into an adult beverage. Makes the sunset better.

  105. My favorite cold summer beverage is fresh lemonade!! Key word “fresh”!! I do not like non-citrus lemonade. I love to make it and add other fruit, like cherries, blueberries, and dragon fruit to it! It makes the most beautiful color, lemonade, and amazing flavor!😋

  155. I’m pretty boring and basically stick to my icy cold Diet Pepsi all year round. However, I also like a root beer float or slushie!!

  156. Possibly watermelon slushy. We freeze leftover watermelon and fill up the vitamix , add a good squeeze of the big lemon juice bottle, add 2tbsp-1/4 c sugar, fill with club soda/soda stream water. So refreshing.

  157. I enjoy a good ginger beer, ginger ale, or lemonade. Oooo. And TJs makes sparkling Italian sodas, that are lovely. (I’m in a foggy coast town, so our summer won’t truly hit until September, so I still have a few months to prepare.)
