First Saturday with Megan {8.5.23} A Fall Apple-picking Scene

Megan is back with us at the start of another month with brilliant inspiration! Today her charming apple-picking scene is perfect for the coming change of seasons!

Apple-picking is such a fun activity at the start of the autumn season and our cute mice are clearly enjoying the day! Megan combined mice and a bee from Apple-solutely Awesome and Berry Special. She also added a little worm from A Bug Deal and bitten apple from Thanks a Bushel!

Megan created a sweet backdrop for the apple farm by pairing a woodgrain print from Into the Woods Remix and the homespun gingham of Fruit Salad. For the greeting she used Thanks, Thanks, Thanks and a sentiment from Thanks a Bushel.

Samantha created the card front on an acetate window filling the scene with cute bugs from A Bug Deal and Simply Celebrate More Critters. Then she added Puffy Cloud Borders as tree tops and layered Stitched Hillside Borders and Grassy Border leaving a window to reveal the butterflies below!

I love seeing all the dimension on Samantha’s awesome design!

Back to share another whimsical card design, Samantha created adorable Hive Five inspiration by combining it with some fun sets!

I just love all the unexpected combinations Samantha added to this charming birthday card! She started by stenciling with Honeycomb Stencil on What’s Sewing On pattern paper! The she combined Leafy Tree Backdrop: Portrait with A Bug Deal leaves. I love how she added Copic color to the tree and branches.

Then she created the rest of the scene with Hive Five and Party Animal. The addition of the cute bear makes this card so much fun!
