A Bright Easter Card with Karin

Our Create with Us: Bubbles of Joy event was so much fun! We had an amazing time crafting with so many friends! If you missed the LIVE event or just want to revisit the fun you can find it saved HERE! Thank you all so much for making today a wonderful birthday celebration!

Happy Sunday friends! Today we have an adorable Easter card by Karin to inspire you!

Karin framed her charming Easter scene using our Bayou Backdrop upside down! It’s a great way to add some depth to a meadow scene and still keep it simple.

The cute little fox from Butterfly Kisses is a great companion for the Eggstra Amazing Easter critters! I love how Karin colored the Oliver’s Stitched ABCs to look like pastel Easter eggs!

Thank you for sharing this super sweet Easter inspiration, Karin!

Lawn Fawn Video {1.12.21} Joy’s Clever Spin on a Shadow Box Card

This is the week for happy announcements! We are excited to welcome our wonderful friend, Joy Baldwin as a regular blog contributor! Woohoo! She will continue to share inspiring projects and video tutorials as she did as our guest designer last year!

Today, Joy created a fun spin on a Shadow Box Card that features our cute little axolotl! You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thanks so much for watching!

To add her fun twist to our Shadow Box Card, Joy designed a custom sized card base! She added the Stitched Wave Border to the top of the card and decorated the front with a hint to what may be on the inside! That cute sentiment is from Critter Chatter: Pets!

Joy tucked the Shadow Box Card inside for a 3D surprise! She created an adorable fresh-water lake scene for the cute I Like You (a lotl) critters! She combined vines from Bayou Backdrop with images from Mermaid for You and Fintastic Friends to fill in her clever layered scene!

Thank you so much for sharing this cute and clever design with us today, Joy!

Lawn Fawn Video {1.11.21} A Delightful Winter Scene with Mona!

Happy Monday friends! We are so excited today to introduce our new regular blog contributor, Mona Toth! We have been inspired by her amazing creativity, and we know you will be too!

Today Mona shares a video tutorial for her beautiful Acorn House design! The Let’s Go Nuts squirrels star in this magical winter scene! You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for watching!

Mona used Crunchy Leaf ink to stamp out the squirrels from Let’s Go Nuts. She colored them with alcohol ink markers and added white highlights with both a pencil and a gel pen.

This scene is so much fun! The sweet little squirrel snoozing inside the house on a pile of acorns is just too cute! The addition of Bayou Backdrop creates a frosty frame for the snowy scene!

I love Mona’s clever idea to use Grassy Hillside Border to create the look of icicles!

Mona gave the Acorn House lots of great detail and texture using Woodgrain cardstock and Distress Oxide inks!

Thank you so much for sharing this delightful card and video with us today, Mona! We are so happy to welcome you to our talented group of blog contributors!
