Renata’s Happy Woodland Scene Card

Renata used bright, cheerful color to create a truly happy woodland scene! I love it so “mush”!

Beginning with Forest Backdrop, Renata cut the frame from pretty patterned paper. Then she cut the trees from Cilantro and Noble Fir. She also cut the grass Mushroom Border from Cilantro cardstock adding hand drawn tufts of grass for detail. She added more cheery color by cutting the mushroom caps from Barn Red and Fake Tan cardstock. And then to finish the scenery, she used Cloudy Stencil and Merman ink to create the sky background.

Renata stamped the punny greeting directly on the stenciled background before arranging the sweet woodland critters of Porcu-pine for You and Porcu-pine for You Add-On.

Such a happy card, Renata! Thank you so much for inspiring us today!

Samantha’s Cute Cabin Scene Card

Samantha is back with another adorable card! She created a warm and cozy scene with Build-A-Cabin and Forest Backdrop!

To create the scene, Samantha ink-blended with Distress Oxide inks in sunny, warm colors on the Forest Backdrop. It frames the Build-A-Cabin so well. She filled the scene with images from S’more the Merrier and Wood You Be Mine. Then she added final touches that include Spring Showers vellum clouds and a sentiment from Let’s Play. She stamped the sentiment on a stitched banner from Heart Garland Backdrop: Portrait.

Thank you so much for inspiring us today, Samantha!

I just love this adorable card and charm combination so much! The cute gnome charm would be so fun on a keychain, backpack or purse! I love that Kara designed the amazing card to go with this “charming” gift!

Kara created two cute and colorful versions of the gnome charm! She used good quality felt so that she could cut the tiny detail pieces of the gnome. And then for a perfect finishing touch she added hand-stitching around the edges!

To made the coordinating card, Kara choose Forest Backdrop and Stitched Windy Backdrop! She die cut the Garden Gnome from colorful cardstock and inked the edge for dimension!

Thanks so much for sharing this “charming” inspiration, Kara!
