Christy shares another fun card design with a brilliant coloring tutorial today. She will demonstrate how to ink blend the ocean background and also share some great seashell coloring tips! You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Christy began this beautiful underwater scene by ink-blending the background. She used Distress Oxide ink in Cracked Pistachio, Lucky Clover and Pine Needles. Then she created the sandy panel with Stitched Hillside Borders and Sandy Beach Accents. She inked this panel with Antique Linen and Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide ink. And then added some water and ink splattering for more sandy detail.

Next, she stamped all the How You Bean Seashell Add-On shells and ocean foliage with Jet Black ink before adding brilliant color with Copic markers.

She white embossed the sentiment from How You Bean? Seashell Add-On on the front panel. Then she stamped more ocean plants in the background before she assembled the scene. I love how Christy tucked the single seashells into the sandy sea floor.
