Kara joins us today to share a great idea for a masculine birthday card! She combined Just Plane Awesome with Honeycomb Shaker Gift Tags and Honeycomb Backdrop used in unique ways! You can watch the video tutorial below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Kara chose a color palette of Moonstone, Blue Jay, Canned Pumpkin and Fake Tan cardstock to create a masculine design! Honeycomb Shaker Gift Tag hexagons lend a fun geometric element while the Just Plant Awesome mice are just plain fun! I love how she added the Honeycomb Backdrop in the Secret Garden Window, it adds even more interest! Finally, she included a sentiment from More Magic Messages that goes so well with the paper airplane theme.


Then Kara added more fun on the inside of the card with Giant Happy Birthday and another cute mouse! The rest of the sentiment is from Offset Sayings: Birthday.

Joy added a fun element to her Platform Pop-Up card with Stitched Trails Hot Foil Plates! The gold trails add shine and tie the cute Just Plane Awesome images into the design!


The Platform Pop-Up Cloud Inserts and Cloud Wrap Around are so perfect with Just Plane Awesome! I love that Joy colored the paper airplanes in bright colors!

Our creative Fawnies, Ivy and Jessica made adorable cards featuring our new Mini May Release! Ivy created a sweet honey and lemon get well card while Jessica made an interactive Magic Picture Changer!


Ivy combined new Mini May sets, Magic Iris Beehive Add-On, Hive Five, More Magic Messages and Honeycomb Backdrop on this lovely get-well card! She found the lemon in You’re the Zest to add to a cup of tea with honey!


She included the cute beekeeper from our recent gift purchase. If you didn’t get a chance to grab that set, the Den Sweet Den bear would be a perfect stand in!


Jessica featured the new Just Plane Awesome set in a super fun interactive Magic Picture Changer! She filled the background with Leafy Tree Backdrop: Portrait and Meadow Borders. I love the shiny details she added with Woodgrain Background Hot Foil Plate and Cloud Background Hot Foil Plate!


The cute scene changes from the mouse launching the paper airplane, to the airplane flying away! So clever! How cute is that little mouse from Fly High?
