First Saturday with Megan {11.7.20} A Creature Was Stirring Kitchen Scene!

We are happy to share another wonderful card design by Megan! Today she created a fun slimline kitchen scene using Magic Picture Changer Oven Add-On.

The busy little A Creature Was Stirring critters are in the kitchen baking up cute little gingerbread mice and other sweet treats! Megan made “cabinets” with Woodgrain cardstock and added a pretty “backsplash” with the Brick Stencil. She included baking themed images from Baked with Love and Sprinkled with Joy. I love the cute framed picture from Den Sweet Den!

Megan altered the Magic Picture Changer Oven Add-On to create an oven with a door that opens so the mice can check on their cookies! She also added the the first part of the sentiment inside the oven, to be continued on the inside of the card!

Thank you so much for this charming inspiration, Megan!

Today is our showcase of A Creature was Stirring and its coordinating dies, and Magic Picture Changer Oven Add-On!

‘Twas the night before Christmas and these mice are still stirring! Whisk up some sweet cards, perfect for holidays, birthdays, or anyone who loves baking!

Use this new add-on set to turn Magic Picture Changer into an oven! Pull the tab to “bake” the goodies inside. This set also includes cute accessories like a pot holder, pots, and cooking utensils!

The design team has made the most amazing samples! We also have a video at the end showcasing some fun ways of using these fun new sets!

Yainea created a super sweet collage style design using our new A Creature Was Stirring set! She added subtle pattern to the background with the Snowflake Trio Stencil! I love how the die cut Scripty Sweet looks like it is frosted, such a great idea!

Tammy‘s darling slimline scene features Baked with Love along with the new A Creature Was Stirring! These sets play really well together! I love how she used Oliver’s Stitched ABCs with the little whisk as the I, too clever!

Grace created a perfectly sweet pastel kitchen scene for her Magic Picture Changer Oven Add-On! She inked a pretty pink brick stencil pattern for the background and added beautifully colored images from A Creature Was Stirring!

Audrey‘s simply sweet scene features a Stitched Speech Bubble Backdrop that is lightly inked to create interest in the background. She used the new Shutter Card Holiday Sayings set for the perfect sentiment!

Sweet Christmas was added to the mix along side A Creature Was Stirring and Baked with Love in Megan‘s delightful design! I love the cute mouse standing on the cake to add the peppermint candy to the gingerbread house!

Latisha‘s beautifully simple card gets lots of sparkle from the Snowflake Trio Stencil! I love how the snowflakes frame this sweet little vignette!

Elise created an adorable slimline card with a custom greeting! She stamped and colored Quinn’s ABCs to spell out “whisk” to complete the punny sentiment! I love the fun striped background using Let it Shine – Cream Sprinkle ‘n Shine!

Renata‘s card features our Wonderful Window and Snowfall Backdrop dies to set a snowy scene and offer a peek inside!

On the inside, Renata created an adorable A Creature Was Stirring scene! She used the Brick Stencil to add a subtle “tiled backsplash” look! I love how the gold embossed sentiment on black cardstock looks so special!

Lynnette cut the Peekaboo Backdrop from stripey Let in Shine paper to frame the cute little scenes! I just love the adorable mice gingerbread cookies!

Elena also created a frame for these adorable little scenes, she used Foursquare Backdrop: Portrait! I love the cute stack of bowls and cream colored stripes in the background! She combined a sentiment from A Creature Was Stirring with Offset Sayings: Christmas!

For her card, Marine has the little mice stirring up a Thanksgiving feast with the help of the Forest Feast set! I love how she used the Magic Picture Changer to show the pumpkin pie with a toasted meringue top! For this she combined Cutie Pie and Thanks a Latte.
