Lawn Fawn Video {7.5.22} Mindy’s Marvelous Mermaid Shaker Card

Hello friends! Mindy is with us again to share her amazing inspiration! This time she created the cutest underwater shaker card. You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for watching!

Mindy created the look of windows for this clever shaker card using Foursquare Backdrop: Landscape. She backed it with an inked Stitched Wavy Backdrop: Landscape for some subtle texture. Then she created the underwater scene with Mermaid for You, I Like You (a lotl), Fintastic Friends and So Jelly!

Mindy shares an important tip for making shaker cards. Use an embossing powder tool to remove tackiness on the foam before removing the release paper. Then the shaker bits will move freely without sticking.

Thank you for sharing this adorable shaker card, Mindy! The design is so brilliant!

Lawn Fawn Video {3.3.22} Chari’s “Little Mermaid” Inspired Platform Pop-Up Card

Hello friends! Chari is back to share another amazing design! This time she created an adorable “Little Mermaid” inspired Platform Pop-Up card! You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for watching!

To create this fantastic underwater scene, Chari started by cutting the Platform Pop-Up from white mixed media cardstock. Then she used stencils and Distress inks to add all the color and ocean detail!

Chari shopped her stash to find all the little images to fill up Ariel’s cozy ocean grotto! Be sure to check out the supply list below to see all the sets she used!

Chari got really creative and combined one of the Mermaid for You mermaids with the Octopi My Heart octopus to create her amazing Ursula character! That is so clever and so cool!

I love this card so much, Chari! Thank you for sharing with us!

Yay, Summer! Jenn Keeps Summer Going with an Ocean-themed Card

Everyone knows that Jenn is our favorite “mermaid”, so of course, summer is her favorite time of year! She keeps those happy vibes going with a fun ocean-themed design!

Jenn created her fabulous watercolor magic for the background! Combining several fish themed sets, including Ocean Shell-fie, she designed an awesome aquatic collage!

Glitter is another of Jenn’s favorites, so you know there would be glitter! She stamped the Quinn’s ABCs in Fish Tank ink and then she filled the open letters with Prisma glitter using a Quickie Glue Pen! She borrowed “yay” from our Yay, Kites! set, die cutting it with the coordinating die!

Thank you so much for sharing this fun and summery design, Jenn!

Be sure to check out Jenn’s online teaching calendar for Fall! You won’t want to miss a single one, so click HERE for all the details!
