Mindy is with us today to share another amazing project and video tutorial! This time she created a beautiful winter scene with a hot-foiled acetate overlay. You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Mindy created a gorgeous scene with Winter Skies, Joy to the Woods and Nighttime Sky Stencil. Then she decided to add a snowy look to the scene, but she didn’t want the scene to look cluttered. So, she created an amazing hot-foiled snowflake overlay on acetate!

She folded the acetate in half to hot foil one side before inserting the decorated panel on the inside.

I love the gorgeous sparkle and shine created with the Snowflake Background Hot Foil Plate so much!

A Christmas Fireplace Scene with Renata

Wow! We sold out of all the grab bags so quickly! Erica, Mike and I want to thank you for generously helping us to support METAvivor on Giving Tuesday! We appreciate you all so much!

Renata has warm and cozy Christmas inspiration for you today!

The mice from Simply Celebrate Critters are ready for a merry and bright holiday season! Renata placed these cute critters on the mantle of the Shadow Box Card Fireplace Add-On. She has warmed up the scene with a crackling fire and a lovely Christmas Garland.

Renata created “paneling” above the fireplace using Simply Stripes: Portrait. Then she stamped and white embossed the Merry Messages greeting on an Everyday Sentiment Banner. She made it smaller by repositioning the die before sending it through the machine again. Then she placed the greeting over the fireplace using a hanger from Mini Picture Frames. That is so clever!

Franci has some adorable inspiration for us today!

This winter scene features the Snow One Like You critters sledding through a snowy landscape. Franci created the background with Birch Tree Stencils and Sage Leaf ink. She stamped the little snowflakes and a Merry Messages sentiment in the same ink.

Franci stamped and colored the sledding image in muted tones to add to the scene. Then she layered scene to a panel of Knit Picky Winter paper as the perfect border!
