Have an amazing weekend! Be sure to join us tomorrow for another First Saturday with Megan!

Megan’s Amazing Pivot Pop-Up Halloween Card!

Hello Fawnie friends! Happy World Cardmaking Day! It’s also the first Saturday of the month so Megan is here to share another amazing card creation! She used our Pivot Pop-Up die set to make an interactive card with lots of Halloween surprises!

Our friendly Big Foot from Lovable Legends is carving up some jack o’lantern fun on the cover of Megan’s happy design! He’s wearing a pirate hat from Booyah and doing the pumpkin carving with help from Pick of the Patch! Megan used images from Spooktacular to set the scene!

Megan filled the inside of the card with a bunch of happy trick or treaters! These cute costumed kids come from our Costume Party, Easter Party, Ahoy Matey, Bicycle Built for You and Out of this World sets! To create the fun neighborhood scene Megan used Village Border and Spooky Fence Border along with more Pick of the Patch pumpkins!

To create the sky, she blended Distress Inks (Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire, and Black Soot) onto pieces of Bristol Smooth Cardstock. Then she spritzed them with water and blotted them with a dry paper towel. Next, Black Soot and Yeti Ink were mixed with water on an acrylic block and splattered onto the ink-blended pieces using a paint brush.

We hope that you will use Megan’s awesome inspiration and create a fabulous card to celebrate World Cardmaking Day (and don’t forget to send a smile by putting it in the mail too)!

Thank you so much for sharing this amazing card with us today, Megan! We can’t wait to see what you have for us next month!

We will be at Stamp Fever in Orange, CA from 10:00 to 4:00 on Saturday, October 13 and we hope to see you there! We will be doing a super cute Double Slider Surprise make-n-take! Call Linda at the store to sign up for a time to make this FREE craft: 714 974-3552. If you are in the Southern California area come by and spend some time with the Lawn Fawn crew!

Kay‘s You Are Sublime underwater scene has an amazing watercolor background that she created using Marvy Brush Markers with water! I love the Gotta Have Gingham paper as the ocean floor, so clever!

Lynnette‘s created the look of cute pond using Marvy Color In Watercolor Pencils for this adorable Toadally Awesome scene! The Jewel Picker makes adding sequins to cards a snap!

We hope you will join us for more Design Team inspiration with Marvy products all week!
