Jenn is here today to share a great idea and a perfectly adorable birthday card! Let’s let her explain!

“Last month I shared with you a fun winter unicorn holiday card. I got a message from a close friend that my niece, Drew would love the card, so it inspired me to switch up the card to make it a birthday. This is a great reminder that we don’t always need to come up with new ideas. Changing the occasion of the card, or even the colors is sometimes just enough! If we are creating and sharing our cards with others that is all that matters! Drew turned 6 last week and she LOVED the card from Auntie Jenny; future card maker in the making!” -Jenn

For this birthday version, Jenn used brighter colors on Winter Unicorn and the Shadow Box Card Rainbow Add-On! She also switched up the sentiment and combined Bannertastic and Big Scripty Words to create a really fun birthday greeting!

The birch trees from Joy to the Woods and some Puffy Cloud Borders frame the unicorn and rainbow window!

I love how Jenn added the tiny hearts and stars from Winter Unicorn to add even more sweetness to this adorable card design!

Thank you so much, Jenn for sharing your adorable card! I love the idea of reworking a favorite card for a different purpose, that’s brilliant!

Jenn’s Pretty Pastel Winter Unicorn Card!

You are invited to join us here at the blog all next week for our annual holiday party, Fawny Holiday Week! All of our Design Teams will be sharing amazing holiday inspiration all week, we will have videos and daily giveaways and maybe even a surprise, too! Fawny Holiday Week starts on Monday, November 11 and we can’t wait!

Jenn has created the sweetest, pastel Christmas card featuring Winter Unicorn and Shadow Box Card Rainbow Add-On!

Jenn created a fun window, rainbow and clouds for this sweet card using the dies in the Shadow Box Card Rainbow Add-on! She framed the card using the pretty birch trees from Joy to the Woods stamped with River Rock ink. I love all the tiny images stamped in Minty Fresh, Butter and Ballet Slippers in the background! She stamped the cute sentiment in Ballet Slippers, Minty Fresh and River Rock.

Jenn used Distress Oxide inks to add pastel color to the rainbow! Then she added lots of sparkle with Prisma and Chunky Glitter and the Glitter Pen!

Thanks so much for sharing this magical, non-traditional Christmas design with us today, Jenn!

Lawn Fawn Video {7.9.19} A Magical Scalloped Box Card Pop-Up with Mindy!

We are so excited to introduce our new Lawn Fawn Video Design Team: Chari Moss, Nichol Spohr, Eloise Blue, Mindy Eggen, Marine Simon and Kara Pogreba! These talented designers will continue creating awesome video projects for our blog and YouTube channel as an official design team! We know you will be inspired!

Today Mindy is with us sharing a super cute and magical 3D Scalloped Box Card Pop-Up featuring A Little Sparkle and Fairy Friends! You can watch the video tutorial below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thanks so much for watching!

This adorable box card combines A Little Sparkle with our older Fairy Friends set perfectly! Mindy made her own cloud stencil for the panels using Puffy Cloud Borders and blended on Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink with a Picket Fence Studio Life Changing Blender Brush to create the dreamy clouds!

To add color to the rainbow, from Shadow Box Card Rainbow Add-On, Mindy used a direct to paper ink technique with Bubblegum, Peach Fuzz, Butter, Celery Stick and Fresh Lavender inks.

Mindy created lots of sparkle for her magical scene by die cutting the cloud panels, found in the Shadow Box Card Rainbow Add-On set, from Pixie Dust Sparkle cardstock!

Mindy used light violet colors of Copic markers on her white unicorn just to add a hint of shadow! Looks so cool!

I just love this sweet card design, Mindy! Thanks so much for sharing with us today!
