Mindy used two different techniques with
Snowflake Background Hot Foil Plate to create this beautiful set of cards!
For this design, Mindy inked the
hot foil plate before dry embossing it with the die cut machine. This creates a beautiful letterpress look. She blended Blue Jay ink on the background before layering Giant Outlined Oh What Fun on top!
For this pretty green background, she did the letterpress technique with
Yeti Ink on Noble Fir cardstock. Then she added Deck the Car with a Winter Wavy Sayings greeting bordered with a Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Frame!
Mindy created another letterpress-look design and framed it with
Snow Flurries Backdrop and the large snowflake as the focal point! For the rich red color, she used Chili Pepper cardstock and Cranberry Ink.
For this card, Mindy inked the embossed side of the
snowflake background for a totally different look! The card came together with Snow Flurries Backdrop snowflakes and Winter Wavy Sayings white embossed on a Simple Wavy Banner.
Thank you so much for sharing this creative technique with us today,
Mindy! Your cards are so beautiful!
Thank you so much for watching, have an amazing day!
Mayra is with us today to share two cards that are so cheerful and fun! She combined You Autumn Know with fall themed Lawn Cuts dies to create these gorgeous designs!
Mayra chose a bright Autumn color palette to create two amazing cards! For her first design, she layered
Pumpkin House over a Stitched Windy Backdrop. She inked the background with Faded Jeans, Salty Ocean and Stormy Sky Distress Oxide ink. Then she added fun fall accents from Small Stitched Leaves, Forest Backdrop and Pumpkin Wagon!
Next, she added the cute
You Autumn Know mice, flying in on the falling leaves! Finally, she white embossed the sentiment from Spooky Village on a Simple Wavy Banner!
To create this card, Mayra layered the background again. She started with a
Scalloped Rectangle in kraft cardstock, then she added an inky blue Quilted Backdrop followed by Fall Leaves Backdrop! This time she used Giant Happy Fall as the focal point of the card.
She embellished with more pumpkins, mushrooms, leaves and the cute
Really High Five mouse! The sweet little sunflower is from Magic Iris Fall Leaves Add-On!
Your Autumn cards are absolutely gorgeous,
Mayra! Thank you so much for inspiring us today!
Chari created a fun mini album project that features our new Forest Backdrop die set! She gathered photos of family camping trips to frame with a forest design! You can watch the video tutorial below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.
Thanks for watching!
Chari started with a thin chipboard base for the four pages in this camping-themed mini album. To frame the photos she die cut the
Forest Backdrop from Watercolor Wishes Rainbow 12×12 paper in Larimar. Then she added some colorful trees from Forest Backdrop and mushrooms from Build-A-Campsite with more Watercolor Wishes Rainbow paper and cardstock.
Chari also used
Birch Trees along with the colorful evergreen trees to tie the pages together!
For this page and the next one, she included a
Simple Wavy Banner with a combination of sentiments from: Reveal Wheel Friends & Family Sentiments, Long Distance Hugs and S’more the Merrier!
To add some fun to this page, Chari added the camping lantern from
This is such a fun project,
