Elena’s Tropi-cool Popsicle Party

It’s a new month and time for another awesome party idea with Elena! Her popsicle themed party decor is the tropi-coolest!

First of all, I think the cool blues and hot pink are such a fun and trendy color combo! This theme is perfect for a pool party for guests of any age!

Elena spelled out the party theme in Oliver’s Stitched ABCs on an inked Tropical Leaves Backdrop sign. The letters have a pretty ombré look from Watercolor Wishes Rainbow paper in Rose Quartz!

These favor boxes are showstoppers! To make them look like popsicles, Elena used the Fancy Box die. She cut a slit in the end to slip in a popsicle stick! She added strips cut from Slide on Over, trimming off one of the rounded ends to mimic the detail on a popsicle.

Elena used I Scream, You Scream to create the cleverest cupcake toppers! She cut the popsicles from Watercolor Wishes Rainbow paper and inked the edges for dimension!

I love that Elena designed her own tropical cupcake wrappers! Starting with white cardstock, she inked the Stitched Scalloped Cupcake Wrapper using Tropical Leaves Background Stencils!

She finished the toppers with leaves and tiny hibiscus flowers from the Tropical Leaves Backdrop on the popsicle sticks.

She continued the stencil look from the cupcake wrappers to the drink labels; adding a single tropical leaf to each one!

The stenciling continued on the Stitched Party Banners! She layered more pink popsicles over the Magic Iris Tropical Leaves Add-On before stringing the banners together with Orchid cord!

This is such a cool party idea, Elena! Thank you so much for sharing your amazing creativity!

A Camping Party with Elena

Elena let our new Build-A-Campsite set inspire some brilliant party decorations for a favorite camping enthusiast!

Elena combined images from Build-A-Campsite and Forest Backdrop to for all of the decorations to keep it simple. She used both sides of Into the Woods Remix papers in Sycamore Remix along with white cardstock which she colored with Copic markers to keep with her rustic color scheme!

For the cupcakes, Elena designed two different toppers. The Stitched Scalloped Cupcake Wrappers were cut from the woodgrain pattern of Sycamore Remix.

This little topper features the camp sign found in Build-A-Campsite along with some of the grasses from Forest Backdrop! Those chocolate cupcakes look really yummy!

The large topper uses the tent, trees, lantern, moon and firewood from both die sets in a fun combination! The grid pattern side of the Sycamore Remix paper is perfect as a the tent!

For the Stitched Party Banner, Elena used the same basic design as she did on the cupcake topper. She added a Stitched Scalloped Border at the top. I love how she used twine to “hang” the lantern from the tent! Such a clever idea!

These Scalloped Treat Boxes continue all the themes with a few little mushrooms added in for a pop of red!

Elena mixed and matched her supplies with the addition of the Forest Border to bring more campsite fun to the drink bottle labels!

Whether you like camping or glamping, Elena’s clever and creative party decorations will make any party a success!

Thank you so much for this brilliant party idea, Elena!

Elena’s Tropical Party

It’s a fun tropical party with lots of great DIY party decor ideas this month! You will love Elena‘s brilliant decorations and how she combined lots of Tiny Gift Box Add-On sets to create the perfect flamingo treat box!

Elena created fantastic tropical decorations filled with palm trees, pineapples, ocean waves, sunshine and those flamingos!

Elena spelled out the guest of honor’s name on the banner with Oliver’s Stitched ABCs! She gave it the tropical treatment with palm trees from Hammock and Trees and our Palm Trees die set.

After cutting the Stitched Party Banners, she ran them through a die cutting machine again with Sunburst Backdrop. Then she layered Stitched Wave Borders and the palm trees along with a Textured Dot sandy layer!

To give her bright sun some cute character, Elena added eyes cut with Circle Stackables and a Large Slimline with Sliders mouth! How clever is that?

The yummy cupcakes transport you to tropical islands with clear aqua blue water! That frosting color is amazing! Elena grouped more palm trees together to make the island cupcake toppers.

Elena used the Shadow Box Card Rainbow Add-On set to cut the zig zag shape for her drink labels. She used just the Aloha coordinating die for the cute pineapple. She added her own details along with a die cut smiley face.

These flamingo treat boxes are so adorable! Elena combined lots of the Tiny Gift Add-On sets to give them all this personality and authenticity! Be sure to check out the image below for all the sets she combined!

Elena searched through all of her add-on sets, along with Woodland Critter Huggers, to piece together all the characteristic flamingo features! We have included all the sets mentioned above in our supply list at the bottom of this post.

Thank you so much for sharing these amazing party decorations, Elena! I can almost feel the tropical breezes!
