Lawn Fawn Video {8.3.23} Chari’s Fresh and Fruity Home Decor Project

Chari is back to inspire you with another creative project! This time she shows how to create a homespun wall hanging with Zesty Lemon, Cheery Cherries and Strawberry Patch! You can watch the video tutorial below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for watching!

Chari created her project with 3″ wooden embroidery hoops that she layered on Scalloped Circles. She found the wooden plaque at a craft store.

Chari arranged the fruity die cuts on Fruit Salad gingham paper. She added inky dimension to the Cheery Cherries before attaching them with glue and foam squares. The cherries look so perfect on the blue “Berry Cute” gingham.

For the center hoop, Chari placed the Zesty Lemon on “Orange You Glad” gingham.

And then she arranged the Strawberry Patch berries on “Perfect Pear” green gingham. The gingham gives this sweet project a farmhouse vibe!

Hang it in your kitchen or gift it to a friend! Have fun recreating this beautiful project!

Thank you so much for this beautiful project idea, Chari! I absolutely love it!

Lawn Fawn Video {7.18.23} Caly’s Sweet Pop-Up Strawberry Basket

Be sure to join us here at the blog this Thursday for the start of another fun Inspiration Week! We will finish highlighting products from the Summer 2023 Release with lots of Design Team projects, Intro Videos with Kelly and of course, giveaways! We can’t wait!

Caly is with us today to share a modified Scalloped Box Card Pop-Up design! In today’s video she shows us how to create a sweet strawberry-filled basket! You can watch the video tutorial below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for watching!

Caly modified the Scalloped Box Card Pop-Up, removing the flaps and trimming it down a bit so it looks like an iconic strawberry basket! Her design is so clever, using the popsicle stick from I Scream You Scream to add the details. She cut the “basket” from Mermaid cardstock and added shading with Peacock Ink.

And then Caly filled the basket with yummy strawberries from Strawberry Patch! She also included flowers and leaves from Outside In Stitched Strawberry and Stitched Strawberry Frame.

The perfect sentiment for her design is found in How You Bean Strawberries Add-On!

When folded, the strawberry basket card will fit in a standard A2 envelope.

This strawberry basket is so adorable, Caly! Thank you so much for inspiring us today!

Ivy’s Lunar New Year Card and Gift Envelope

We hope you will join us tomorrow for another Lots of Heart Week! We will have sweet samples from the Design Team, and daily giveaways! See you then!

Today we have a fun treat for you! Ivy created a card and gift envelope to celebrate Lunar New Year!

Ivy explains the meaning behind the things she used to create her card and envelope set. “Oranges are a typical symbol of good luck, red and gold colors are considered lucky and prosperous, the red envelope contains “lucky money” that is usually given to kids.” And of course, she added the cute bunnies from Simply Celebrate Critters because this is the year of the rabbit!

For the card, Ivy filled the Fruit Basket with oranges using Zesty Lemon. She added a couple of the cute bunnies along with some pretty citrus flowers and leaves. She stamped the greeting on the label from Small Stitched Envelope with a Merry Messages sentiment. Then she added “lunar new year” in Claire’s ABCs and small sprigs from Giant Thank You Messages in shiny gold embossing!

To create the envelope, Ivy began with a Small Stitched Envelope, adding Henry’s 123s on the flap. Then she created another label this time including the row of bunnies from Simply Celebrate Critters.

Thank you so much for sharing this super cute project with us, Ivy!
