First Saturday with Megan {8.6.22} Clever Shadow Box Cuteness, Rain or Shine!

It’s time once again for Megan to inspire us with another creative card design! This month she shares a totally clever shadow box card with a fun pop-up feature!

Megan created this happy scene using raincoat clad bears of Beary Rainy Day! As they splash in the puddles, the frogs are enjoying the raindrops too! She created this 3D scene using Grassy Border and Simple Grassy Hillsides.

To create her shadow bow, Megan used two Peacock cardstock panels cut to 5 3/4″ x 5″. She scored them at 2″ and 1/4 “. She cut the second largest Outside In Stitched Rectangle from one of the panels. Then she assembled the shadow box, inserting the grassy layers.

Megan created a pocket behind the back panel for the pull-tab. When you pull the tab, another colorful scene featuring Rain or Shine Before ‘n Afters appears! She used the pull tab from Magic Picture Changer to make it easy to slide the tab up!

Renata is back again to share fantastic inspiration with us! She used Giant You Are #1 to create an amazing card!

Renata die-cut Giant You Are #1 from Black Licorice cardstock; it looks so bold against the beautiful Cilantro inked background! She created the white border on one layer by masking the edges of the card before stenciling the Sunray Background.

The cute goat and the sentiment from You Goat This play nicely with this giant greeting! Renata’s simple to create card will definitely brighten someone’s day!

Joyce’s Greatest of all Time Slimline Card

Joyce shares another adorable card with us today! This time she uses You Goat This to create a happy slimline scene!

Joyce set the stage for this adorable herd of goats, first stenciling with Cloudy Stencil then adding layers of Simple Grassy Hillsides.

She added gel pen highlights to the Chili Pepper red Henry’s ABCs greeting! Sometimes it’s the simplest details that elevate a design!

Joyce’s beautiful Copic coloring gave these cute goats lots of personality! This little scene is so sweet!
