Miss U

Hello everyone! I wanted to do a full post on this card because I wanted to show you this fun way to use Petite Florals and because the Moxie Fab Picking Up the Pieces challenge is all about paper piecing which is my new obsession. I seem to be paper piecing everything! Woo! Thanks for the awesome challenge, Cath! 🙂
So, I went Petite Florals crazy! First I stamped the different flowers on the card stock. Then I stamped them again on these gorgeous Jenni Bowlin Homespun mini papers and cut them out. After I cut them out I rolled their petals slightly inward for dimension and then adhered them over the stamped images on the card stock. I used different levels of dimension on each of the flowers too: adhesive, rolled up glue dot, thin foam adhesive, thick foam adhesive.
I love these Jenni Bowlin banner stickers! They are just so adorable! They come with the coordinating letters so you can spell out whatever you like!

I hope you liked seeing this fun way to use Petite Florals. They would look great for any season too, if you changed up the patterned paper. I can’t wait to make some fall Florals! 🙂

Card stock: Bazill (sandbox dotted swiss)
Patterned paper: Jenni Bowlin (geo flower Homespun collection, Homespun mini papers)

Have an amazing day,

Happy Fall?!

Hello! Happy Fall, you ask? Well, I thought it might be fun to do a Fall card because I have been wanting to use the acorn in Critters in the ‘Burbs so badly!

I was inspired by the CPS sketch this week, but as usual, did not stay very true to it! I absolutely love challenge blogs and always want to acknowledge the inspiration they provide so many of us, even if I am incapable of following a sketch. Hehe! 🙂

I love this Cosmo Cricket ribbon that I got on Peachy Cheap. Oooh, that site is dangerous! I had so much fun using my tiny attacher, that I think I went a little crazy with it!
How cool are these Nerdy Bird Sassafras stickers from Torendi? Love them! They have to perfect amount of glitter. Make sure you check them out and the other new goodies at Torendi! 🙂

I had so much fun coloring the squirrel and acorns and then “piling” them up with different levels of adhesive (atg, glue dot, thin foam, thicker foam). After I made this card I realized that it is totally the Fall version of this card. Haha! I didn’t mean to do that, but it is kind of fun to see Critters in the ‘Burbs in the Summer and Fall looks!

Guess what? We added a cool new feature to the website! You can now be signed up to be notified when an item comes back in stock in the Lawn Fawn store! That means that you will be the first to know when something comes back to the store! Wooo! Just go to the page of the item you want, for example, the Sew Lovely page, click on “sign up to be notified when this item becomes available” and follow the directions from there! I hope you guys like this feature! Also know that Sew Lovely is being made as we speak (as I type?), and we are working on new sets too! Eeeek! I am so excited about them!
