Everything but the Kitchen Sink Challenge #14

*Make sure to take a look at the Lawn Fawn sneak peek post and leave a comment for a chance to win!*

Welcome to another Everything but the Kitchen Sink challenge! This time the challenge is to use envelopes:
And the prize is this fabulous Ippity set from Ashley N. Newell!
I used the flaps of envelopes as my hills. I distress them with Distress Ink to look more “hilly”. Then I used the envelope paper to mask the subtle clouds. Envelope paper is great for this because it is thin. I really liked using it!

Make sure to go on over to the EbtKS blog, check out the design team’s cards and enter your card in Mr. Linky for a chance to win that beautiful set!

Card stock: Papertrey Ink (spring rain)
Patterned paper: Basic Grey (urban prairie)
Stamps: Lawn Fawn (petite florals), Hero Arts (bicycle, friends)

Ink: Memento (tuxedo black), Papertrey Ink (true black), Distress Ink (tumbled glass, broken china, antique linen, vintage photo)

Etc: Copic markers, Envelopes
Thank you so much for visiting!
Have an amazing day,

Lawn Fawn Sneak Peek: “Just My Type”

Welcome to the first sneak peek of the Lawn Fawn May release! We are releasing 3 stamp sets this time! The first stamp set we are sneaking here is “Just My Type”. Let’s get to the amazing design team samples! Remember to click on their names to go to their fabulous blogs and get all the details on their cards!

Mariana has made the most wonderful card with Just My Type. Her colors are amazing! She used the telephone image from the set in such a fun way. I just love those hearts!

Tiffany’s card is just SO cool! I love that acetate! I also love the way she distressed the paper coming out of the typewriter! Hot pink, black and kraft is such a fun color combo.

Ashley has made such an awesome card! I love her use of tapes and staples! It goes so well with our office theme. As you can see, there is another sentiment in the typewriter. That’s because all of our sentiments can fit within the typewriter’s paper!

Sarah Martina has wowed me with her ultimate in prettiness! Pretty in pink! 🙂 She used the telephone and shabbied it up. She also stamped our “hello” sentiment on the ribbon wrapping around the edges of the card. I can’t wait to try that!

Lynnette’s card is so much fun! Her envelope is so cool. It reminds me of an office memo envelope. She decorated it with our tack and paperclip stamps. I love that you could create your own patterned paper with those smaller stamps!

Oh how I love the cool colors on Jessica’s card! The top border she created with the paperclip stamp is so cool, especially paired with the actual paper clip! You can also see another one of our sentiments in the typewriter’s paper. How fun is the way she popped up the paper?!

Latisha’s card is so pretty and full of texture! I love the unique shape of her card and all of the fabulous dry embossing! Her coloring is so wonderful and the pairing of that polka-dotted ribbon and the three buttons in the corner adds the perfect amount of whimsy!

Make sure you click on each of the design team’s names or pictures to go to their blogs and see the details of how they made their cards. You will walk away inspired for sure!

I hope you have enjoyed this sneak peek of “Just My Type”. I can’t wait to show you the full set on the 5th! Until then, I think I need to give one of these away! Leave me a comment telling me if you have ever used a typewriter by May 2nd at 11:59pm PDT, and we will randomly pick one winner!

This weekend I will have at least one video showing you some of the sets and then we will start up with the sneaks again on Monday May 3rd at 12:01am EDT. I can’t wait!
