Get a Little Batty with Elena’s New Party Idea

Elena‘s new party decor takes Halloween from traditional to trendy with pink pumpkins! Her pink and blue color story is fresh and fun and perfect for “getting batty”!

Featuring bats and pink pumpkins, Elena’s party spread is inviting and so creative!

Elena stenciled the moon and clouds from Nighttime Sky on the Stitched Party Banners. She used Butter and Manatee inks for the moon. For the sky she used Mermaid, Deep Sea, and Jet Black, then she stenciled the clouds using Yeti ink.

Then she added the cute bat from Full Moon, pink pumpkins from Pumpkin Wagon and Giant Trick or Treat.

The cupcake toppers got the bats and pumpkins treatment too! This time she stenciled the moon on a stitched circle base, again inking with Butter and Manatee inks. She popped up the images including clouds from Peekaboo Pop-Up.

And then she carried the theme onto the drink bottle labels! She found the perfect shades of pink in the Textured Canvas Pink pack!

The favor boxes start with Tiny Gift Box before getting a dose of the party theme too! Elena used the Jack O’ Lantern Add-On to create more pink pumpkins. I love this pink and black combination!

She also used the Tiny Gift Box Bat Add-On to create more adorable favor boxes!

I absolutely love this amazing color combination for Halloween! Thank you so much for this fantastic party inspiration, Elena!

Lawn Fawn Video {10.2.22} Samantha’s Brilliant Flippy Flappy Holiday Card

Samantha joins us again today with another cute and clever card design! This time she created a brilliant Flippy Flappy interactive card with the adorable Ugly and Bright critters! You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thanks so much for watching!

Samantha’s clever design uses Flippy Flappy to help the cute fox put on a festive sweater! She used Knit Picky Winter paper for the background adding snowy white splatters.

She positioned the fox above the Flippy Flappy mechanism, so that pulling the tab causes the sweater to flip up to cover the critter. Be sure to check out the Intro to Flippy Flappy video for the easy step-by-step instructions.

This card is so much fun, Samantha! Thank you for inspiring us today!

First Saturday with Megan {10.1.22} Have a Spooktacular World Card Making Day!

Happy World Card Making Day! Today we have Megan with us to share an amazing Platform Pop-Up card for Halloween! Let us know in the comments what you have planned to celebrate our card making hobby today! We hope you have a “spooktacular” crafty day!

The colors that Megan used for this amazing design are so eye-catching! Megan die cut the Platform Pop-Up from Bristol cardstock so she could add Distress Oxide color. She chose Lucky Clover and Pine Needles to blend that cool dark teal shade!

Megan created the cute jack o’ lantern using Stitched Pumpkin Frame and Outside In Stitched Pumpkin. She cut the pieces from Fake Tan cardstock, then she added shading with Ripe Persimmon Distress Oxide ink. And then the leaves in Cilantro and Noble Fir cardstock got some inky shading as well.

Next, Megan added lots of fun elements to enhance the spooky look of her design! She used just the Booyah coordinating dies to cut the ghosts from vellum, then she attached them to the pumpkin with clear acetate strips. Then she added happy spider from Cute Cobweb and bare tree from Scalloped Treat Box Haunted House Add-On.

The Platform Pop-Up folds flat for mailing! You may need to use an oversized envelope to accommodate the height of the ghosts. Megan added that fun greeting from Simply Fall Sentiments! Anyone opening this spooktacular card will be sure to smile so big!

I absolutely love this amazing Halloween card! Thanks so much for sharing with us today, Megan!
