Lawn Fawn Video {9.30.23} Christy’s Autumn Scene with Winter Birds

Christy created another beautiful card to inspire your cardmaking! She used Winter Birds to color some blue jays for an Autumn scene! You can watch the video tutorial below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

These Winter Birds are ready for Fall with their scarves in warm Autumn colors! Christy colored them using Copic markers in bold blue to look like blue jays. Then she added falling leaves in the same warm colors as the scarves.


Christy created a lovely Autumn sky with the Cloudy Stencil and Distress Oxide inks in Faded Jeans and Tumbled Glass. She also splattered the same colors over the top to add texture and movement!


I love how Christy incorporated the Scripty Autumn Sentiment into her scene!

Mayra’s Ta-Da! Diorama! Birthday Card

Mayra is back to share another bright and cheery card design! This Autumn-themed birthday card is filled lots of fun inside the Ta-Da! Diorama!


The fun starts on the outside of Mayra’s diorama with this adorable woodland scene! She combined the little tree house from Frosty Fairy Friends with a hedgehog from S’more the Merrier, a little mouse from Elephant Parade and mushrooms from Oh Gnome and Tea-rrific Day! I love the sunny sky she created with Sunray Background Stencil.


Inside, this happy little scene is so charming! Mayra added the Jump for Joy hedgehog, who is jumping for joy in the pretty pile of leaves! Then in the background she added trees from Shadow Box Card Park Add-On. Also, visible now are another cute Elephant Parade mouse and the squirrel from Let’s Play!


Mayra white heat embossed all of the sentiments! Jump for joy is stamped on the wavy banner from Flippin’ Awesome. Then she added “it’s your birthday” directly on the front. And then she embossed the saying from Tiny Tag Sayings: Birthday on a speech bubble from Say What Spring Critters on vellum.


This fun interactive card fits perfectly in a standard envelope. I love how Mayra added the little mushroom vignette in the corner, then she used Happy Hedgehogs Washi tape to seal her envelope!
