Okay, that’s enough social media for one day! Let’s move on to a “Critter’s in the ‘Burbs” card!
I made this card with all sorts of things and challenges in mind using Torendi’s lastest kit, “Framed Cuteness” and some new Sassafras card stock stickers that are in the Torendi Store. This kit makes me crazy happy! It is just so CUTE! I also had today’s Finally Friday at Two Peas challenge in mind: to paper piece a pennant banner (I just cut triangles out of patterned paper!) I also had this week’s Tuesday Trigger over at Moxie Fab in mind. Here is the inspiration picture:Pennants, bright colors, happiness! That is what I took from this photo!

Let’s talk Lawn Fawn! It seems like you guys love this squirrel. Well, I do too! He makes me so happy. I used our “butterfly trail” to create this bouncing squirrel trail. I just kept lowering the stamp and restamping. Then I followed it with our “yay!” stamp as if every squirrely bounce made a “yay!” sound! Well, because I bet they do in squirrel language! Hehe! Okay, now I am just getting punchy!

Thank you so much for coming by and joining us on Facebook, Flickr and our newsletter. You guys are THE best! I cannot wait for our opening on March 10th! Tomorrow we will talk about another way to get featured as a sample card in our store! Wooo! Also, our “Sew Lovely” winner will be announced! So exciting! So come on down!

Mariana went all out cute with this card! I love her ribbon “grass”! And her blinged out butterfly! The scene she built is just wonderful!

Squirrels playing on a tire swing?! Oh, Jessica, you make me smile! Love the way she used twine as the tire swing rope and that the squirrel is holding the rope! So cute!

Look at that pup! He looks just like Ashley‘s little guy! Love the gem “apples”!

Doesn’t this card by Sarah just scream Easter and spring? Well, more like softly says in a quiet voice! Hehe! I love that a shabby and soft look can be achieved with this set too!

Tiffany knows that our cat deserves the best and made her a bed of Jenni Bowlin grass! This adorable scene is perfectly balanced by the top rounded edge.

Yay! Critters on parade! Lynnette created bright and happy borders with many of the 18 images that will be available in this set!

Latisha perfectly frames our cat with this funky and fun colored card! Could that border punch be any cooler? The way she used our grass border builder is so fun!

Lawn Fawn Sneak Peek: “Sew Lovely”

Welcome to Lawn Fawn’s first sneak peek! I am so excited!!!!! I can’t even express how excited I am. Eeeeek!
Today I have a major treat for you. Seven cards from seven fabulous ladies that will showcase “Sew Lovely” in so many crazy cool ways! So, let’s get to it! πŸ™‚

First off we have a card from Ashley. How amazing is that border she made with our “swirly line”? Yes, that is the best name we could come up with! Hehe! πŸ™‚ The pearls on the dress form are perfection! Elegance abounds here!
Jessica rocked the collage style with this card! I love the way she wrapped fibers around our spools and the way she funked up our “you’re sew lovely” sentiment by only stamping the “sew lovely” part. This card is pure fun!
Latisha shows us pretty and fun in one card! Don’t you wish Molly Ringwald rocked this dress in “Pretty in Pink”? hehe! Our dress form is a perfect focal point and great for you Copic lovers! Using letter stickers is a wonderful way to personalize this card. The juxtaposition of the girly dress form and plaid is perfect!Tiffany showcases the “Sew Lovely” sewing machine in such a fun and funky way! Her paper piecing is perfection! The “Sew Lovely” images are great for paper piecing. I love her use of our little flower button too. I cannot wait to find out how she did that with the nestabilities! This card is crazy fab!Oh so pretty! Ahhh, it makes me sigh! Sarah Martina creates a perfectly pretty card using two of our border builders and our dress form. The swirly line returns! She also used the flower border builder to create borders and a fun and cute skirt! She also curved the “you’re sew lovely” sentiment. Our stamps are great for curving. It gives a whole new look!Lynnette showcases our spools and buttons in such a fun and bright way! Isn’t Cosmo Cricket’s Material Girl the perfect compliment to “Sew Lovely”? I just about flipped when I saw their line and how it would coordinate with our stamps! I love her fussy cutting of our images and she used my favorite sentiment! This card makes me smile!

Mariana made the cutest background paper with our flower button. I just love it. Her use of rounded corners is so fun and perfectly echos the dress form’s “booty”, for lack of a better term! That’s right our dress form has curves! Haha! Her use of Copics here really gives the dress shape and movement. Perfection!

Make sure you click on each of the design team’s names or pictures to go to their blogs and see the details of how they made their cards.

I hope you enjoyed these cards and sneak peeks of “Sew Lovely” images. I also hope that you were inspired today. I cannot wait to see what you might make with “Sew Lovely”. I really feel like this set can be used to fit anyone’s style! Distress it, make it shabby chic, clean and graphic, fun and cute, whatever your heart desires! I know I have had fun playing “fashion designer” with the dress form. I have made many a “Dear Lizzy” dress I wish I could own in person!
