How amazing is Chan‘s Chinese New Year card?! She used Jessie’s ABCs for a custom sentiment, and I love the way she used the curved line across the card! The bow placement is just perfect!

IMG_1654

Tiffany‘s layout is stunning! It is absolutely genius to add the lanterns to an actual photo! She also combined paper piecing and copic coloring. Brads and twine are a perfect way to hang the lanterns! She also used Jessie’s ABCs and Fly Free to complete this fabby layout!

LawnFawn-shinebrightly-latishayoast

Latisha‘s card is so beautiful! The fairies in the lanterns is just so ethereal. I love how she used the “shine lines” from the set, too. That giant gem is just the cherry on top!

Lea Lawson-Lantern2

Lea‘s card is rainbow-tastic and I love it! The twine string is brilliant and the rainbow gems and inks are perfect! I love her use of shine lines around the sentiment. Beautiful!

Shine Brightly

Julie‘s card is so sweet and shows how to perfectly combine your awesome embellishments with this set. She used the small tassel as the lamp pull for the lamp embellishment and the sentiment goes perfectly!

LF_feb_shinebrightly_teri

Teri has come up with such a cool way to use the lanterns! So graphic. So cool. So Teri! πŸ™‚ The paper piecing and angles are just perfect!

lunarlights2

Lynnette‘s card is perfectly sweet! She found the perfect patterned paper to compliment the lanterns and I love that she included the tiny tassel on the tiny lanterns! I also just adore her perfect bow!

LF_mgrigsby36a

Mariana’s card is gorgeous! I love the pierced holes as string and the continuing sentiment along the side. The gems on the top of the tassels look so cool! I can’t wait to try that!

Make sure you click on each of the design team’s names or pictures to go to their blogs and see the details of how they made their cards. You will walk away inspired for sure!

Now, I have a little video for you showing you images and fun ways to use this set. I had to improvise on another computer so we don’t have our normal intro and transitions. I am also a little video-rusty, so go easy on me! Haha! I hope you enjoy it! Watch it below or at You Tube.

I hope you have enjoyed this sneak peek of “Lunar Lights”. Tomorrow we have our reveal! For now, though, it’s giveaway time! Leave me a comment telling me who or what inspires you to “shine brightly” by February 9th at 10:00pm EST, and we will randomly pick one winner!

lanterns

Could Julie‘s Lawn Fawn debut be any cuter? I just adore this! The summery colors are just perfect for this set! She used Sophie’s Sentiments for her sentiment and highlighted it with the “light rays” from the set! So clever! The bows at the end of the string comes as a separate stamp so you can add it or not. I think it’s the perfect touch on this card!

lunarlights1

Chan‘s Lawn Fawn debut is just perfect for Chinese New year! I absolutely adore her treat bag using the traditional red and gold colors of Chinese New Year. The sentiment is from Lunar Lights and is perfect for any occasion. We wanted to come up with a sentiment that could work for as many occasions as possible, and I think this is it! Chan added the tassel to the lantern to give that Asian flair and decorated the lantern ingeniously with a Petite Florals flower! Oh, and I love those Chinese candies that are in her bag! Yum! πŸ™‚

Lawnfawn-lunarlights2-latishayoast

Latisha‘s card is just gorgeous! Paper piecing the lanterns looks so beautiful! I also adore the gems going up the lantern strings! So brilliant! The sentiment is also from the set, and it just makes me smile! This color combination is just fabulous! I think we should all go try it right away!

Lea Lawson-Lantern1

Lea‘s card is so perfectly feminine! The pennants above the hanging lanterns is just beautiful! I feel like I am at a perfect garden party! I love that so many different feels can come with this set depending on how you style it! The paper piecing is just beautiful, and I love the gems at the base of the lantern string. Fantastic!

TiffanyLunarLights1

Tiffany‘s card is so fun! I absolutely adore how she added the sentiment in the lanterns! So brilliant! It fits perfectly! Her background is too fun! It looks like patterned paper, but it is the smaller lanterns from the set stamped over and over. I love that! I also love how she used the bow! Super sweet!

LF_Feb_HappyWishes_teri

I am loving Teri‘s card! Her color combo is way cool, and I love how she has the tassels in a different color. They really stand out! You can see some of the different styles of tassels that we have in the set here! I also heard at CHA that tassels are going to be the next big thing! Very exciting! The bakers twine bows are so trendy and really add another feel to the card. I love that!

LF_mgrigsby37a

Mariana‘s card is pure joy! I adore her colors and the glitter! She used our mini tassel on the small lanterns and you can see what a different feel it has! The texture on her card is so wonderful! The twine, staples, raised glitter and embossed paper is so fantastic! These lanterns are so fun to color too!

lunarlights3

Lynnette‘s card is just too fun! She shows how perfectly these stamps paper piece. Get ready to pull out those patterned paper scraps you have been saving (we all do it! hehe!) I love how Lynnette placed one lantern behind the other. It really give the card dimension without bulk: perfect for mailing! I just love the joy in this card!

Make sure you click on each of the design team’s names or pictures to go to their blogs and see the details of how they made their cards. You will walk away inspired for sure!
