Hello and welcome to Lawn Fawn’s Summer 2017 Inspiration and Release week! On May 18th our 10 new stamp sets and their coordinating dies, 20 new stand alone die sets, and 2 new cardstock colors will be for sale at your favorite store and at www.lawnfawn.com! Woohoo!
This week we will focus on 5 new stamp sets and their coordinating dies, 15 new standalone dies, and the new cardstock! Then in June we will highlight the rest of this Summer 2017 Release with design team samples, intro videos and of course, more giveaways!
Today is our showcase of Magic Color Slider! Everything is black and white… until you pull the tab to “magically” reveal a colorful scene! This fun set of dies contains everything you need (minus the color!) to create an impressive interactive slider, including multiple choices for frame style, pull tab, and some bonus goodies. The design team has made the most amazing samples! We also have an intro video with instructions for assembling the Magic Color Slider and showcasing some fun ways to use this fun new Lawn Cuts set!

Yainea created a super fun Ahoy, Matey scene for her Magic Color Slider card! I love how the sentiment relates to the treasure chest that is revealed as the slider moves!
Latisha created a beautiful baby/gender reveal announcement using Magic Color Slider and Hello Baby! I love how the umbrella “magically” reveals the pretty pink color!
Elise designed an adorable Plus One card with the Magic Color Slider. It’s another perfect idea for a gender reveal announcement!
I love how Chari added her sentiment to the slider tab and that as it moves it reveals the cute crab in a hammock from our set Life is Good! She added the “Pull Here” stamp from Push Here so the recipient knows what to do.
Elena designed her adorable Dad’s Day card so the joking papa moose is revealed behind the slider! Her coloring adds a sweet dimension to this fun Dad + Me card.
I love how Audrey created this card so the Duh-nuh shark is revealed as the slider moves up! She added the fin to the pull-tab as a hint of what’s inside. So clever!
Lizzy added a gorgeous inked sky to her sweet Upon a Star design! I love how she added the pretty sentiment to the slider!
Nichol‘s delightful card pairs Fintastic Friends with our new shark cutie from Duh-nuh! She tucked the little fish and fins into the slits made by Ocean Wave Accents. I just love those crazy googly eyes!
Lynnette‘s colorful plane and happy clouds are from our new Plane and Simple set! The Stitched Cloud Backdrop adds a fun bit of texture!

Pair it with Lift the Flap and Simple Gift Card Slots Lawn Cuts dies to create cards with a gift card “hidden treasure”! The design team has made the most amazing samples! We also have intro videos showcasing some fun ways to use these new sets!

Elena‘s adorable Ahoy, Matey is so cute! I love the pirate ship in the little lake! The birthday sentiment is a perfect fit in our Bannertastic banner!
Chari created a fun and clever “old” treasure map complete with torn edges as a backdrop for the Ahoy, Matey pirates and treasure chest!
Elise‘s charming card is so adorable! I love that she used Watercolor Wishes papers for the background as the sand and sky!
Using Lift the Flap, Latisha made a set of gift card holders and combined sentiments from Ahoy, Matey as a cute way to say thanks!
Chari‘s gorgeous gift card features our beautiful new die set, Pretty Poppies! She used Lift the Flap and Simple Gift Card Slots with an amazing ink blended backdrop!
Nicole created a fun landscape for the cute Ahoy, Matey pirates with our new Windy Backdrop and Ocean Hillside Pop-up Add-on dies!
I love how Yainea‘s fun treasure map design continues on the inside of her brilliant card!
X marks the spot on the flap where there is a happy surprise!
I love how Chari used Lift the Flap to create fun hidden windows! I will re-create this card in my Ahoy, Matey intro video below!
I love how Lynnette aligned the Lift the Flap window vertically and hid the sentiment inside!
Lynnette‘s card includes the Simple Gift Card Slot to hold a birthday gift!
Lizzy‘s brightly colored Ahoy, Matey pirate kids and treasure chest look awesome on her vintage-look treasure map background!
Nichol‘s card features an adorable Ahoy, Matey scene on the cover…
…with a super fun pop-up design on the inside! The Palm Trees and Ocean Hillside Pop-up Add-on will be introduced later this week.
