Fawny Holiday Video

Chari has been stitching up some awesome designs for Fawny Holiday Week! She will share three beautiful ways use the Festive Wreath pattern with Embroidery Hoop. You can watch her video tutorial below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for watching! We can’t wait to see your stitched cards and crafty projects!

Chari used the same card “recipe” for all three cards: a stitched wreath, stenciled background and cheery greeting using Henry’s ABCs and Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment: Winter! By varying the colors and the stencils she made a traditional Christmas card, a frosty winter design and a fun retro style card!

For a classic look, Chari stitched the Festive Wreath in shades of green with pops of red berries and red bow. She used Winter Sprigs Background Stencils to create the beautiful backdrop and added a cheery Merry Christmas greeting!

Shades of pink and teal highlight Chari’s retro-look design! She used Peppermint Stripes Stencils for the background with a pink wreath studded with colorful beads.

A white and blue wreath stitched with teal and silver beads highlights Chari’s wintry design. She used the Embroidery Hoop Window and Frame Add-On in glittery silver to frame the wreath. The Snowflake Background Stencils in tone-on-tone mermaid and glittery Stickles on the Henry’s ABCs add to the frosty look of the card.

More Design Team Inspiration

Mona used Winter Birds and Winter Birds Add-On to make a charming “Season’s Tweetings” card! She gave the card a fun twist by using the Chirpy Chirp Chirp chicks, coloring them as cute robins! Her card features a Reverse Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Window framed with Falling Leaves plaid paper.

Melissa‘s card is so special with glittery light bulbs from String of Lights Backdrop. The black background gives the design a dramatic look while a glittery red Stitched Rectangle Frame and Candy Cane Lane stripes are so festive and fun! Her greeting is a combination of Scripty Joy, Scripty Joy Outline Add-On and Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment: Winter.

Elena‘s merry little scene is framed inside the Winter Wonderland Window. Rather than selling coffee or treats, the cute Ready Set Snow snowman stocked the Treat Cart with snowballs!

Elena added packages from Special Delivery Add-On and Joy to All! I love the pretty pops of red on the blue, white and tan design!

Marine created a fun card to wish friends a “really cool Christmas”! She blended Frosty Family with Yeti or Not to take the snow family to the slopes for some snowboarding fun! The cool scene also features snow cones and popsicles on the Treat Cart!

Marine used the Double Slider Surprise, so the scene expands for even more Frosty Family fun! She combined trees from Simply Celebrate Winter with those in Yeti or Not to create a tree line with more dotted around the landscape.

The white gel pen details on the hats, scarves and trees add lots of cuteness and highlight the frosty scene.

I love that Marine also used holographic cardstock as tabs and to layer behind the Simple Wavy Banner.

Catherine used our new You Mean So Mochi mini set to make a fresh and fun card and shaker tag set!

I love this clever card “so mochi”! She started this fun design by using Fancy Lattice Backdrop as stencil to add subtle texture to the background. Then she combined the chopsticks from Let’s Roll with leaves from Build-A-Drink Cocktail Add-On to make the bamboo. Then she stacked up the cute dumplings from You Mean So Mochi on the tray from Let’s Roll.

To create the cute and clever panda, Catherine used Tiny Gift Box Hedgehog Add-On as the base. Then she used the moon from Center Picture Window Card for the ears, and the eyes and paws from Tiny Gift Box Cat Add-On.

And Catherine also made a mason jar shaker tag with another cute panda! She filled the How You Bean jar with more mochi and tiny clay hearts. Then she added tags from Sprinkled with Joy Add-On and Heart Treat Box.

Samantha‘s Valentine card is so sweet! I love how she used Selfie Frames to fill with Porcu-pine for You happy moments. She layered the “photos” on a Quilted Heart Backdrop: Landscape, then added more cuteness from Porcu-pine for You!

Yainea used the new Radiant Heart Backdrop with Winter Birds to send love! The backdrop looks so pretty layered on a panel of Knit Picky Winter paper.

The sentiment from Magic Heart Messages sends a heartwarming greeting!

Franci‘s clean and simple design looks so special with the Little Heart Strings Border! She added the hugging porcupines from Porcu-pine for You with the punny sentiment. Franci added a Stitched Border and a sprinkling of hearts to finish her sweet card!

Tammy was inspired by our Pizza My Heart set to make a Heart Pouch pizza and a coordinating card! She stacked hearts on the Heart Pouch to make the crust, sauce and cheese layers. Then she added cute heart shaped pepperoni and other topping goodies!

And then, to create her adorable card, Tammy combined the cute A Creature Was Stirring mice with Pizza My Heart!

I absolutely love to see cards combining old and new sets to create fun scenes! Mindy paired Winter Birds with Joy to the Woods birch trees and ornaments to decorate the Double Slider Surprise.

When the tabs are pulled, two extra panels become visible! Mindy added another Winter Bird along with a sentiment from Merry Messages.

On the back of the other Double Slider Surprise panel, Mindy attached a gift card! Such a fun way to send a gift with a holiday greeting!
