Samantha’s Berry Sweet Valentine

Samantha is back with another inspiring card design! This one is a totally sweet Valentine!

Samantha started this “berry sweet” card by creating a window panel using Outside In Stitched Heart Stackables and Watercolor Wishes paper. And then she added Falling Hearts stenciled in pink!

Next, she combined Wood You Be Mine? beavers with a strawberry border from Berry Special to fill the window. She also added chocolate covered strawberries from Scent with Love Add-On. I love how she colored the heart to look like a chocolate topped strawberry, so clever!

Thanks so much for sharing this sweet design, Samantha!

Lawn Fawn Video {1.28.23} A Fun Beaver Dam Scene with Samantha

Happy Saturday, friends! Samantha joins us today to share another creative card idea! This time she made a fun beaver dam scene with Wood You Be Mine. You can watch the video tutorial below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for watching!

In the video, Samantha gives us a little water coloring tutorial with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. Its a quick and easy method for adding color to stamped images. For this card, she did some ink-blending with Distress Oxide inks. She used Stitched Hillside Borders for the water and Grassy Border for the riverbank.

As a final embellishment, Samantha white heat embossed her sentiment on a vellum Fancy Wavy Banner! It’s the perfect finishing touch to a cute design!

Thank you so much for this sweet inspiration, Samantha!

Jessica’s Artsy Valentine

Jessica from Lawn Fawn HQ joins us today with some adorable inspiration! She combined Canvas and Easel with a cute beaver from Wood You Be Mine to create a totally charming Valentine design!

Jess created her unique Valentine card with a sweet shaker “painting” on the easel. She framed the masterpiece with a shiny gold Stitched Scalloped Square Frame. The little beaver sits adorably on the artist’s stool with a bouquet of flowers from Scent with Love!

For the background, Jess used a panel of Knit Picky Winter paper. Then she layered the Heart Garland Backdrop: Portrait over the top. She added hearts in Ballet Slippers, Guava and Chili Pepper cardstock. This card is just so sweet!

Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful project with us, Jess!
