Have an amazing day,

There’s an EbtKS BLOG!!!! :) AND A PRIZE!! :)

That’s right! We got out our moving vans, stopped renting, and got ourselves a permanent location at: http://ebtkschallenge.blogspot.com, and there are some pretty exciting things going on! We have added a sketch challenge to EbtKS! So how it will work is on the 30th of the month we will have the item challenge, and on the 15th of the month we will have a sketch challenge. Now the cool thing is that the sketch will be based on things from the home! So first off we have the lovely Courtney’s mantle as inspiration:

How cool is this sketch?! Want to know what is even cooler?! There is a $25 gift certificate to 2Peas as a prize!!! So what are you waiting for? Get on over to out new home and play along! While you are at it, you should grab our little button too!
Now here is my interpretation of the sketch:
As you can tell, I still can’t get over the cuteness of nutmeg! The punched out circles are from the mini deck.
The tag is from the sticker sheet in the crafting kit. I threaded some ribbon through it and stapled it. Then adhered it with foam adhesive. Fun and simple!

So please come check out the new Everything but the Kitchen Sink Challenge blog, add it to your reader, and play along with our first sketch challenge! We can’t wait to see what you come up with, and this time there is no toilet paper, I promise! haha! ๐Ÿ™‚

Card stock: Neenah Paper Environment (desert storm)
Patterned paper: Cosmo Cricket (nutmeg mini deck)
Sticker: Cosmo Cricket (nutmeg crafting kit)
Ribbon: who knows?! haha!
Punch: EK Success (1.25″ circle punch)

Have an amazing day,

wishing you rainbows

Happy weekend everyone!! This is a quick little card. It’s 2 3/4 square which is a really cute size for a gift or just a little note for someone. I colored and out out the rainbow and adhered it with foam adhesive for a little dimension. At first I wasn’t sure if I liked this card, but now I really like the simplicity of it :).

You guys always warm my heart with your wonderful comments. Seriously, they always make my day! Well, the last blog post just made me even more glad that I am in this crafty community. You guys are brilliant! You gave me some great ideas in how to deal with that looooong card. Here are some of them:

Kim said… Oh WOW! Throw some pretty white and gold ‘mums around it and you totally have a Thanksgiving centerpiece! Huh? Huh? ๐Ÿ˜€ November 13, 2009 5:48 AM

Chrissy said… So sweet! I love that phrase, it is very inspiring. You know, you could probably wrap one of those giant Toblerone (triangle shaped bars- my spelling may be wrong ๐Ÿ™ ) in this card and really make someone’s day! Too cute.

I’ve fallen in love with CC titles too and I always cut them into pieces.
