My very first SCS challenge!

I am participating in my very first Splitcoast Stampers challenge! This is the clean and simple challenge (CAS41), and we are supposed to use Vera Bradley bags as inspiration. This is the one I chose.
The little polka dot border is from the Bloom and Grow My Mind’s Eye kit. I also used My Mind’s Eye inks that aren’t from this collection but totally match! Yay!

Card stock: Neenah Paper Environment (desert storm), Neenah Paper Classic Linen (natural white)
Patterned paper: My Mind’s Eye (bloom and grow paper and accessories kit)
Stamps: My Sentiments Exactly (multi script), Ali Edwards (loving words)

Ink: My Mind’s Eye (coastal, sundress)

Buttons: Papertrey Ink

I made this card using this week’s Sketchy Thursday sketch. Torendi is the sponsor this week! I also used the Hero Arts idea of “trimming” this week, but using scraps that I had around. I also used stamped images that I already had and punched with the square punch to give it a new look.
I am so in love with these decorative blossoms from Hero Arts. They are just so cool! I also used my My Mind’s Eye inks that I got from Peachy Cheap. They are so pretty!
Oh, Cosmo Cricket Earth Love. I can’t stop using you. I am starting to do faux stitching more, and it’s making me want whatever pen Kristina Werner has because either her pen is way better than mine or she is magic. I think her being magic might be the likeliest explanation.

Card stock: Papertrey Ink (dark chocolate), Neenah Paper Environment (desert storm)
Patterned paper: Cosmo Cricket (earth love)
Stamps: Hero Arts (decorative blossoms), Papertrey Ink (everyday button bits)

Ink: My Mind’s Eye (coastal and sundress ink swirly thingies), Distress Ink (broken china)

Pen: Ranger Inkssentials white opaque pen
Dies: Jen Allyson Project Cuts DigiKit at 2Peas (elegant card)
Tools: Quickutz Silhouette, Computer, Ranger Inking tool and foam
Punch: 1.25″ EK Success square punch

Have an amazing day,

a classy circle card

Caardvarks is having a circular card challenge right now! How fun is that?! It is also my Grandmother’s birthday, so I decided to go classy. She likes elegant things, so I put away my woodland creatures and pulled out some My Mind’s Eye.
I actually got inspired to use the My Mind’s Eye while looking through the Quiltish etsy shop on Etsy Inspired this week. The flowers on this bag totally reminded me of the flowers in this set. Yay! That purse is so cute!

Card stock: Neenah Paper Classic Crest (natural white)
Patterned paper: My Mind’s Eye (Andreavictoria Paper and Accessories kit)
Flower: My Mind’s Eye (Andreavictoria Paper and Accessories kit)

Ribbon: I don’t know!
Dies: Spellbinders Nestabilities (circles, scalloped circles)
Tools: Cuttlebug
