Embellish with butterflies!

Hello! I hope you guys are having a great weekend! I had some fun making cards this afternoon, and I see some movie watching in my future :). I was inspired by the Embellish color challenge for this card. The photos are just so pretty that I broke the rules of the challenge a little bit. I used two shades of green: one to simulate the grass and one for the bridesmaid dresses. I also added a little white for the bride’s dress.
Thanks for the awesome inspiration, Embellish!

I am so obsessed with this new Martha Stewart punch. It is just SO pretty and delicate. I love it! I also used the amazing Pink Paislee tape and my beloved American Crafts Thickers. My Thickers collection is getting ridiculous! Haha!

Card stock: Neenah Paper Environment (desert storm)
Punch: Martha Stewart (monarch butterfly edge punch)
Tape: Pink Paislee (green)
Thickers: American Crafts (mint bumble puffy)

Torendi Flower, Sales and Splitcoast

Hello! I made this card with Torendi’s awesome “Color by Number” kit. I love it! I was inspired by Moxie Fab’s fabric challenge and Dear Lizzy’s awesome post here.
I made this flower by cutting out different flower sizes with a Sizzix die. That thing can cut the canvas from the kit like nothing! Wow! I folded each flower in fourths and stapled them at the bottom, then I stuck them all together with Glue Dots. I am also so in love with this paper whimsy from the kit by Sassafras. I had to force myself to use it! I kept hoarding it!

I wanted to let you guys know about some sales:

Torendi‘s item of the week is hootie the cutie pie owl from Buzz and Bloom. It’s 50% off!

Limelight is having a 15% off sale until May 24th with the code MAY15. They have Lawn Fawn stamps, so you might want to check it out ;).

Splitcoast Stampers:

All I want for Christmas

Hello! Here is another Christmas card. I totally got into making them for the magazine calls, and it is nice to have a leg up on the holiday season already! This time I used Critters in the ‘Burbs to create a Christmas card that would be fun for a kid! I paper pieced the puppy, used my Dymo label maker for part of the sentiment and a rub on alpha from the wonderful folks at American Crafts.

Okay, I’m going to get mushy now. 🙂

Three years ago I married the love of my life and my best friend. I love you so much, Mike. I could not imagine a more amazing person to spend my life with. The past ten and half years have been amazing and the past three years of wedded bliss even more wonderful. I am the luckiest girl in the world.

And he is willing to be completely silly with me. What’s better than that?
