You are so sweet (and fruity)!

I decided to make my own patterned paper with the lemonade glass from Swimsuit Season. I love how easy it is to just repeat an image and have a custom patterned paper! I distressed the whole card base with antique linen ink and added extra around the edges to “frame” the card. I used Harold’s ABCs to make my sentiment. The lemon dimensional sticker is American Crafts Dear Lizzy. Did you guys see the Dear Lizzy Enchanted on the American Crafts blog? I am in loooooovvveeeeee. I want it all, times two, right now. 🙂 I keep looking at it to make me smile. Oh how I love you, American Crafts! I can’t wait to see what else they have in store!

2 Sketches 4 You 56: All things grow with love

Welcome to another 2 Sketches 4 You challenge! This week is fancy free week which means we can use whatever product we like, AND there is a CRAZY awesome prize this week. Like, go check it out now, kind of prize! But first, let’s check out Laura’s awesome sketch!So fun! I love that strip on the side. It gave me a chance to pull out my awesome Japanese tapes from Torendi!

This card is actually a baby shower card for my good friends A & J. The sea horse is J, the octopus is A and the fish is their baby girl to be! 🙂 I thought the sentiment was so sweet for a baby shower card too. The reason I had to use Critters in the Sea is that we got them a jumperoo with Ocean critters on it! I freaked and said, “We have to buy this! I can make a card to match!” I am such a dork! Hehe!

Hello! Happy Friday! Thank you all so much for the excitement with the release! It just makes me grin from ear to ear! This is a card combining the new set Judy’s Blooms with Petite Florals and Just My Type, Too. I had so much fun making it! This would be a great invite for a garden party in the Summer! You could print all of the details on the inside! 🙂

I used Copics to color the large flower from Judy’s Blooms and paper pieced the Petite Florals flowers. I took the colors from the amazing Crate Paper and American Crafts patterned papers.

This card is 5.5″W x 4.25″H. I wanted to tell you guys so you could see how big the flower from Judy’s Blooms is! I also rolled the edges of all of the flowers around the handle of a thin paint brush to get that 3D look.
