Hello! I hope you guys are doing well! I had a lot of fun coloring this wreath from Bows and Holly with Copics and a gel pen!

It’s in the Bag!

 
 Hello! Today we have a special surprise! Lawn Fawn has come together with Michelle Philippi‘s “It’s in the Bag!” Etsy store for a fun holiday bag special! There is going to be lots of inspirations all around the Lawn Fawn design team, and Michelle and I decided to play along, too! Here is my first bag! I just love this one because of the window! I can just imagine the home baked cookies peeking through. I have to imagine. Since I didn’t bake. Hehe! I created the background with Frosties snowflakes stamped in Tumbled Glass ink and the outsides rolled in Broken China. It really gives an icy look! I free hand cut my American Crafts glitter card stock for snow and colored and cut out Winter Bunny to look like he is riding right past those imaginary cookies!

I made this sentiment shape with the largest of the Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels 4. The scroll from Frosties fits perfectly in it! I stamped the “Merry Christmas” sentiment from Bows and Holly in Versamagic ink and didn’t let it dry completely before I distressed the label with Antique Linen and Vintage Photo. This slightly smeared the red ink, and it gives a frosted glass look. Well, at least to me! Haha!

Here is a quick little bag with this adorable tiny lunch bag from It’s in the Bag! I covered it with Basic Grey Jovial paper and stapled down the sides. I colored the present from Bows and Holly and stamped and cut out the tag. I used some twine as the long string between the two. I was able to get the loop in the string by using Glossy Accents to secure it!

Happy Fall!

Happy Fall! Oh, how I wish we had Fall here. Instead we just have dreary, drizzley weather that is totally depressing. I want colorful leaves! Crisp Air! So, I decided to make some Fall cards to make up for it using Harvest Season! This card was super simple to make, and, plus, sanding that Core’dinations paper is super fun! 🙂

I paper pieced a bunch of Harvest Season pumpkins for this card. Wouldn’t it be fun if pumpkins actually came in different patterns and colors? 🙂

I really want to go to a pumpkin patch. There must be one around here somewhere! Have you guys started carving your pumpkins yet? I can’t wait! My favorite part is taking out the guts (which Mike hates), and Mike’s favorite part is the intricate carving (which I am not encouraged to do since I cut myself on stuff a lot). We’re the perfect pair! Hehe! 🙂
