yainea Rudolph
Yainea‘s card is gorgeous! I love how she created a scene on the Stitched Journaling Card. Her trees are from Yeti, Set, Go, and her Rudolph is the deer from Into the Woods! I love how she created a stamped tone and tone background and how she incorporated papers from Peace Love Joy! So beautiful!

mel m Magical---Layout
mel m Magical---Detail-2
Melissa M.‘s layout is so fun! I love her row of splatters and sequins! I also love the fun quilt-like pattern she created with the Peace Joy Love papers! What a cool way to use scraps on a layout! She was inspired by this layout by Jill Sprott!

tamara
I love Tamara‘s awesome clean and simple style! She created this with our set Let it Snow. This striking card would be perfect for mass production. So gorgeous!

christybenchseasonsgreetings
Christy created the sweetest scene with the bench from Winter in the Park and elements from other Lawn Fawn sets like Winter Gifts and Trim the Tree! I love how she made a wreath from holly and the fun way she layered Peace Joy Love papers!

sam m 2
Samantha M.‘s card is too cute! I love how she used Pa-Rum-Pa-Pum-Pum and how perfectly the sentiment fits in Bannerific! She created that cool background with a stencil and embossing paste. She also used paper from Into the Woods for a holiday card. I love how you can use those papers all year!

kari w
Kari‘s card is so sweet! I love how she paper pieced the Winter Sparrows. It is such a fun look! It is an awesome way to add a special touch! A cool label shape is a great place for these sweet birds to hang out on, too! This is a great layout!

And now we have a great treat: Our friend Karin has made us an awesome video using Distress Inks!
You can watch the video below or at our YouTube channel.

Thanks so much for watching!

Karin
Karin used Ornate Ornaments to create this gorgeous card. I love how she colored with Distress Inks. Make sure to watch the video above for her awesome tips!

  1. The best Christmas were some years back when I was living next door to my parents and sister. Our older brother and his family came as well as our cousins. Everyone came a day early and helped with everything. There were loads of snow so we also went sledging on our very on hill. It was such a happy and cousy time.

  2. My best Christmas memory is waking up so run for the tree with my siblings and find Santa's presents. My parent's usually sat on the sofa and watched us open our gifts an then my dad started to assemble the bigger gifts. The assembly part was a family thing two and usually involved laughs and some tears two 😉 Ohhh, and then the part when we went outside to play with other kids and talk about Santa's visit. Those memories are the best!!

Thanks for the chance to win 😉

  3. WOW—Loving those creations–so awesome!!

My fave memory of Christmas would be from a couple of years ago…when all my kids were able to partake in the decorating, the baking, and selecting presents for each other…It's much more enjoyable! And it continues to this day…!

  4. My favorite Christmas memories are watching my daughter open her presents when she was younger and getting together with family. Thanks for the chance to win.

  5. Oh, how I love Yainea's card! My fave X-mas memory is a christmas night 25 years back when my mom and dad went out with me and my brother sitting on the kick sleds in the snowy darkness. Magical!

  6. Yainea's card is super adorable! My favorite Holiday memory…that Christmas I spent with my relatives in South America and my brothers, uncle, baby cousin, and I ended up spending the night driving around the city laughing and eating ice cream at a gas stop. It was the most nontraditional Christmas ever, but also one of the most memorable.

  7. It's good to see the 'old' stamp sets again!

One of my favorite memories was the year my parents brought two of my cousins out for Christmas. They were in college in Indiana and we live in Oregon. It was very rare that we saw them as they lived in Arizona. I had them over for a day to decorate cookies with my daughters and me.

  8. Wonderful projects! One of my favorite memories is having Thanksgiving dinner with my family. I remember setting out the special china every year and helping my mom cook the food. There was always a 1000 piece puzzle set out for the weekend. 🙂

  9. So many great projects!!! Thank you for sharing, they are so inspiring!!!
I can't really recall a very special memory of Christmas but I really enjoy it when it is snowy!!!

  10. The Best Christmas Memory is from my school days ! Here in India we have Annual gathering in schools around Christmas n to participate it in was such an achievement in those days, with family n friends coming to see our performance ! getting ready ,makeup, costumes, clicking pictures having fun.Sweetest Memories !!

  11. WOW!!!! Love the cards featured today. I watched Karin's video and must try my hand at the look with my Ornate Ornaments set. My favorite memory is watching my kids opening their gifts on Christmas morning.

  12. Kari's card with the Winter Sparrows and birch tree background is so cute; the music note scalloped border is a very nice touch! My favorite holiday memory is baking on Christmas Eve with my family. I also love picking out and decorating our Christmas tree every year!

  13. My favorite memory was the year my then 3 year old granddaughter helped decorate the Christmas tree. We had so much fun. I love all the Lawn Fawn Holiday Stamp sets.

  14. Great projects! Can't wait to see more!
My favorite Christmas holiday was when I was in 5th grade and I invited the whole class to my house for a Christmas party! We had so much fun!! ^_^

  15. My fav holiday memory as a kid was my Dad…he always said he hated Christmas…made a big deal about hating it….but when the Grinch cartoon came on…he had to stop everything to watch it with us. To this day we tease him about being the Grinch. Every Christmas gift that I give him includes at least one Grinch…It's a long standing joke in our family.

  16. I'm really inspired by these cards! My favourite Christmas memory was only last year..I spent it just my hubby and I, we cooked dinner together, opened our gifts and he made and decorated an amazing cake, I will always treasure it!

  17. This is going to be my Favorite Week by Far! My Favorite Christmas memory would be trying to stay up late to Catch Santa red handed. It never happened bty!! Great Cards and Projects!

  18. Beautiful cards/projects: stunning showcases of amazing LF products! I'm feeling festive!! Favourite memories: Christmas celebrations that are "firsts" – first one with my husband (I was so nervous about the gifts I had for him…but he LOVED them); first Christmas when my niece was a baby – and this one coming will be a first with my nephew! Favourite holiday memory in general: our trips to Bend, Oregon, during the summer, when my husband races in the Cascade Classic. Love Bend! Thanks for this wonderful giveaway!

  19. SIMPLY STUNNING card and video from KARIN!!! My kiddos and I always enjoy learning her coloring techniques!
Our FAVORITE Christmas memory is making LOTS and LOTS of Christmas cards together:)

  20. I love all the inspiration! My favorite holiday memory is from a few years ago when my daughter was old enough to help me bake Christmas cookies for friends and family.

  21. Cute cards! My favorite holiday memory is… When I was a little girl one year we were all sitting in the Living Room and all of the sudden Santa burst through our front door and gave everyone in the room a present. To this day my mom still swears she had no idea who it was:)

  22. My favorite holiday memory is of our yearly drives to Oklahoma to spend Christmas with our grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins! So much fun, laughs and happiness!

  23. Beautiful holiday cards and layouts. Everyone is really already getting into the holiday season. Christmas is my favorite holiday. Wow, this is a hard one… My favorite holiday memory would have to be when I was very young. My father would bring a tree home and my mother and I would string the lights and the decorations every year weeks before Christmas. We would have so many ornaments and I would always end up dropping and breaking a few of them, but that was all part of the great fun of Christmas. happy crafting, friends!

  24. My favorite holiday memory is the time I spent at my Grandmother's house. I have fond memories of sledding for hours then coming in for hot chocolate and marshmallows. I loved how my Grandpa would put on a Santa hat and every year one of us grand-kids would be his elf, and help pass out the presents. I also loved baking cookies with my Grandma. I have too many amazing holiday memories to just pick one but in general the time I spent with Grandparents are my favorite memories!

  25. Wow! What a great inspiration today! Lawn Fawn always ROCKS it! My favorite childhood memory was having grapefruit with breakfast on Christmas morning. My grandmother, now 93 years old, always put green sugar on it to sweeten it up and a red cherry in the middle. Festive! ♥

  26. My favorite Christmas memories were when my Dad would wake up before us and make mexican hot chocolate and we would have pan dulce and my grandparents would be there. These cards are beautiful!

  27. Gorgeous projects and video! I am in the holiday mood now! My favorite holiday memory is getting together for a family cookie day where we bake treats for our friends and family. Thanks for the chance!

  28. Favorite Holiday memory?…When my kids were little, and after Christmas Eve service at church, we'd head over to my in-laws house for dinner and festivities. Often it was prime rib, and about a million Christmas cookies – oh that woman could bake! And after dinner, DH would set up the video camera and the kids would go at it. Wearing the new hats and gloves from great grandma trying to open presents without taking them off… so much love and laughter filled the house. There is nothing quite like the sounds of children's voices at Christmas. Thanks to Karin for sharing her technique and what wonderful creations by the DT. Wonderful. Thanks. Bev

  29. We were just married and I wanted a sewing machine. My husband said we didn't have the money for one at that time. On Christmas Eve we went to his parent's house for the evening. when we came home my sewing machine was sitting in the living room, waiting for me to start sewing outfits for the kids, Barbie clothes for my daughter's doll, and lots of things around the house. He was a great man.

  30. How fun! My favorite Holiday memory is the Christmas I turned 5. I got my very first Cabbage Patch doll that year and named her Jennifer. I absolutely LOVED that baby doll and she was very special to me for many years. What makes it even more special now is knowing how hard my single mom worked to save up to buy her for me…

  31. Amazing projects my fave holiday memory would be my dad who just passed in September would put tons of lights n tge blow up outdoor characters outside n inside hed put trains n those silly singing dancing characters I plan to continue this for my daughter

  32. So many holiday memories to choose from, but my favorite is one we still do every year, spend the day in San Francisco on Christmas Eve and bring toys to donate to the fire fighters to hand out to children that would not other wise have anything to open. My daughter and I have been doing this for the past 15 years. Thanks for the chance to win.

  33. When my sister and I were small, my grandparents always came to our house on Christmas Day. We were not allowed to open any gifts until they arrived. Until the year we had a giant snowstorm on Christmas Eve. Christmas Day was sunny and bright, but it took much longer than we could bear for Grandpa and Grandma to arrive. We were finally allowed to open ONE gift before they arrived. I still remember what it was – a drawing set with Mickey Mouse crayons.

  34. Oh I love Samanthas' card! It is too cute!

I am really looking forward for this week – eeek excited!
My favourite christmas memory is when the family comes together on christmas eve to eat dinner and then go to church together.
After that I love to cuddle up with them in front of our fireplace next to the tree!

  35. Beautiful cards 🙂 My favourite memories go back a couple of years when me and my mom baked cookies for nine hours and could only sit in front of TV for the rest of the day 🙂 We probably looked like a truck just ran over us 😀 We laugh at this every year when baking starts 🙂

  36. Wow! some absolutely gorgeous projects and I really love Karins card. I have 4 young kiddiewinkles so we get to make new favourite memories every year 🙂 Hugs xnx

  37. My favourite holiday memory is always having to wait until 7am, and not being allowed to get out of bed beforehand, then going downstairs as a family to see if Father Christmas has been. Oooh, and the delicious cold meat and mashed potato on Boxing Day! Yum! x

  38. Lovely, lovely projects!!! Love that "Rudolph" 🙂
Favorite memories are baking with my family and when I get to spend Christmas with my niece and nephew- they live far away- so it's not always possible.

  39. ONE of my favorite holiday memories is when our Christmas tree fell over! We all laugh about it every year. Also, when I was very little my grandma surprised me with a purple dollhouse. She was so excited to give it to me that she couldn't even wrap it. 🙂
Thanks for the chance to win, LF, and thanks to the DT for all the inspiring showcases!

  40. Oh my goodness,
this is the first day of inspiration week and
already I want to stay home and make cards.
Favorite memories, hmmm I love Christmas,
its always a family fun time.
    Thanks for the great ideas…

  41. My favorite memories are of my husband…watching him gnaw on the carrot ends while he's trying to make them look like the reindeer have been at them!

    love all these projects!

  42. My favorite Christmas memory is the Christmas my Mom was recoverimg from pneumonia. She was never sick, and I don't remember being frightened really, but when she was up and around for Christmas, though still not feeling well, it was just so wonderful having her there.

  43. Oh my goodness….all of these projects are fantastic. They are inspiring and can't wait to get some ink on my 2 recent additions to my Lawn Fawn Collection: Into the Woods and Winter in the Park. Thank you!! My favorite holiday memory is when, as a kid, we got a puppy from our parents! You know how you dream of a puppy in a wrapped box and his head pops open the lid…well, that dream came true for me, my brother and my sister. The puppy wasn't in a box, but when my dad brought him out….we squealed with delight!!

  44. My favorite holiday memory each year was bringing out the Nativity and setting it up. I still d this every year, even though I am alone and it still feels special and brings me back to the "reason for the season". Thanks for the lovely inspiration and the chance to win.

  45. I just love this post full of amazing holiday cards!!! My favorite holiday memory is from 2007. We had just bought our house right before Christmas and it felt so awesome to finally have our own place! <3

  46. Beautiful projects, I will look forward to seeing more Fawny Holiday inspiration! One of my favorite Christmas memories would have to be my first Christmas married, although my husband was a rookie and had to go to work, but I remember packing the car with gifts and heading to my parents house in my pj's and exchanging gifts well past dessert time!

  47. One of my favorite memories of Christmas was when I took my dog with me to each of my family's gatherings. She was so pooped when I got her home on Christmas Day, she passed out almost instantly on top of her new toys and slept for hours! It's one of my favorite photos of her. 🙂

  48. My favorite Christmas memory is when I was seven and hoping for a bicycle. I was so excited to find that shiny new bike in our living room on Christmas morning. I also found a teddy bear and a hand cranked music box shaped like a stained glass window under the tree. The bike is long gone now but I still have that teddy bear and the music box .

  49. I remember each Christmas eve going for a drive to look at Christmas lights. My mom would never go with us but go to the neighbor's for coffee. When we got back Santa will have come. We did this for years!

    Love the inspiration!

  50. One of my favourite Christmas memories is the year we gave the kids their first ever kitten for Christmas; we hid her in a spare room over night and they kept saying they"heard something", but weren't sure what….then after they'd opened everything else, we brought her out in a gift bag-they were totally thrilled and surprised!

  51. So much awesome inspiration!! Love it 🙂 I don't think I have a specific favorite holiday memory- I just love to spend time with family that time of year.

  52. Awesome cards. I could look at these all day. I always got to put the Santa on top of the tree and my Dad would plug it in and it would light up.

  53. Fabulous DT cards!! Love Karin's work.
My favourite holiday memory was the year I totally busted my parents setting out "Santa's presents". I woke up because I had a tummy ache and went downstairs to find them, and caught them in the act. I remember running back upstairs and waking up my younger sister to tell her – lol. Now I just like getting together with my family to open presents at my parent's house like we were kids again and play games on Christmas day.

  54. Forgot to mention a favourite memory/tradition. Each Christmas Eve since our first child was born, we have read The Night Before Christmas as a family and filmed it. It has been 26 years since that first reading, and the memories we have on tape of our children's eyes as they take in the brightly coloured pictures, their first halting attempts at reading, grandparents (who have since passed away) joining in the fun are treasures that will be shared with our grandchildren.

  55. My favorite Christmas holiday memory is when I received a Jon Gnagy art set. I was so thrilled. My favorite Thanksgiving memory is … all the Thanksgiving dinners I shared with my parents, sisters and children. I love them all.

  56. My favourite memory is when my whole family is home for Christmas for two week school break. I always make a huge batch of snacks called Nuts and Bolts and that is always the signal that the holidays can now begin for us!!

  57. My favourite memory is when my whole family is home for Christmas for two week school break. I always make a huge batch of snacks called Nuts and Bolts and that is always the signal that the holidays can now begin for us!!

  58. My favorite memory is Going to my Grandparents house on Christmas day. I loved spending time with my family all day, Eating a great dinner and My grandpa making his special Shrimp Cocktail that he always teased me with. He knew I loved it and set out the smallest cup saying it was mine and in the end gave me the biggest cup he had. With plenty of shrimp in it of course. And I had my own special chair too. It was a vintage chair that also had the step stool on it. Every year it was my chair and of course I was the smallest and needed it in the beginning cause I could sit up high enough to eat in the regular chairs. LOL.

  59. I love all the holiday sets, they are the perfect for all my holiday designs. My favorite holiday memory would be when my husband proposed on Christmas Eve. I don't think anything will top that except maybe if I have a child born that day 🙂

  60. Can't wait to see all the holiday inspiration. My favorite memory of Christmas is Christmas Eve parties my parents would have when I was little. Santa would make a surprise visit!

  61. Can't wait to see all the holiday inspiration. My favorite memory of Christmas is Christmas Eve parties my parents would have when I was little. Santa would make a surprise visit!

  62. Love the cards! Love the video – love how the background was created. My favorite memories are our talent shows. We have them every Christmas evening. The talents are varied – from funny to serious!

  63. My favorite was when I was about nine and we were having Christmas at my Aunt & Uncle's house. We had a blackout on Christmas Eve for a few hours and were able to use the fireplace (live in Florida – doesn't happen a lot) and I got to open one of my gifts because it was a boombox (yeah, aged myself a little). It was a good time!

  64. last year I had a pile of little images from the Christmas sets all coloured and nicely cut out.. they disappeared.. I had forgotten I had told my 5 year old she could have any she wanted (I like to share my Lawn Fawn goodness), now I find them all dotted about my studio, like little happiness bombs 🙂 heheh

  65. One of my favorite Christmas memories is many years ago when my sons were younger. We gave my husband a video camera. We wrapped it and then hid clues throughout the house for him to find his special gift. The boys enjoyed it so much and my husband was so surprised and touched. I will never forget the look on his face. I cherish this memory.

  66. One of my favorite Christmas memories is the year my hubby and I adopted a little black kitten (Peevey) on the eve of Christmas Eve. We had 18 years with this little fur ball! Love thinking about the ordeal of finding a male, black kitten in the middle of winter!

  67. My favorite holiday memory is decorating the tree with my kids. We'd play Christmas music and have fun snacks as we unwrap each ornament and remember where we got it or when we made it since so many are homemade. Just love being with my kids. Gorgeous cards and layouts. Thanks for the inspiration!

  68. One of my favorite Christmas memories (and there are a lot of them!) is the first time that I stayed up late with on Christmas Eve my parents, uncle and aunt to surprise my younger cousins…I remember it being so cool to play a Santa's elf and help put together gifts. Of course my cousins got up early the next morning, but what a satisfying feeling it was to see their happy faces! Years later, I got to experience that with my own kids – exhausting, but so rewarding! 🙂

  69. They are all adorable, but I love the first card!! The little fawn is just the cutest!! I don't have a real favorite holiday memory. They are all my favorite, because they are my treasured memories of each Christmas that I will always remember.

  70. I don't think I can choose just one memory! There are so many. One of them is of watching Christmas specials like Andy Williams and making Christmas ornaments out of styrofoam and sequins. So fun! They don't do music specials like that anymore!

  71. My favorite holiday memory is the year my sister and I got sleeping bags! We thought they were SO COOL. Lol. I Love Karin's video and her coloring is always amazing!

  72. My favorite Christmas memory is remembering my Mom, Dad and my Mom's sisters singing around the piano. They could harmonize like crazy. My Mom died when I was 9 so that memory is precious to me. Thanks for sharing the beautiful projects and video. 😀

  73. I remember the year my then-boyfriend surprised me with an engagement ring and asked me to marry him! That's 29 years ago! This is another lovely video and card by Karin (PS: I love to hear her talk…lovely accent!)

  74. In my college years, one christmas, I joined a church program and I flew from my college in WV to Miami, FL. The first WARM Christmas I ever experienced! TIl then, I've always lived in places where it snows in winter. But after that, I guess I liked it, and for 14 years of my life, I've lived in Hawaii, Guam (US territory), both the tropical islands (summer all year around) and Sydney, Australia where Christmas is in SUMMER heat (and no snow all year around). That church program in Miami changed my life! hahaha 🙂 This year? I'm going to be here in Guam, again. 🙂

  75. Three years ago we travelled to Auckland (New Zealand) to spend time with my husbands family. We had to stay in a hotel, so had no Xmas tree etc. I packed some decorations and a painting of a Xmas tree my son had made at school (he had just started). I taped it to the wall and the next morning the kids couldn't believe that Santa had found them and even left the usual trail of lollies from each of their beds out to the 'paper tree'. I love that they still believe in Santa and it will be a sad day when they don't…..

  76. Super cute projects! Love them all! Let's see… Holidays memory… I guess my favorite would be helping my mom in the kitchen. We had so much fun, and everything was yummy!

  77. Oh I am so enjoying the beautiful DT projects!!! It's inspiring me to get crafty!!! One memory that I cherish was going to midnight mass with my family on Christmas Eve, especially when I was away at college and didn't get home often. I always think of holding lit candles in our hands with the entire church dimmed as we all sang Silent Night – for some reason I would always get teary and emotional. I think it was just that I was so happy to be home and grateful that our family was all together for the holidays for one more year. As we've all grown up and moved away and had our own families we unfortunately don't ever get to spend Christmas together as a family anymore but hearing Silent Night always reminds me of those Christmas Eve midnight church services many years ago.

  78. My favorite Christmas memory was the year we celebrated on January 17th. My husband and kids had kept the tree up until I came home from deployment so I could celebrate the holiday with them!

    Beautiful inspiration today, thank you!

  79. You all made wonderful cards!
My favorite memory is when I was young. I was so exited every time when we decorate the tree together. Christmas music on the backgound, hot chocolate and everybody happy. In the tree came color lights as many as we could find and the most different decoration as we had. The tree wasn't decorated in one color, we needed all the colors we could find. We decorate the tree with my brother, mother and father but most of the time my father and I did the most. We loved doing this together. Now we are older I cherish these memories more and more.

    Have a nice day,
    Nanda

  80. Wow! I am overwhelmed by the amazingness of these cards!! Fabulous video. I would say one of my favorite holiday memories is my husband proposing to me. He proposed on 12/22/10 just a few days before Christmas. 🙂

  81. Love all the cards and ideas! My favorite Christmas memory is to see my 1and 1/2years old son looking bright-eyed with his mouth wide open at the christmas-tree for about 20 minutes, not beeing aware of the presents….! Now he is a teenager – how time flies!
Thank you for reminding me today, and thanks for the giveaway.
    Hanni

  82. OMG on rudolph's nose, adorbs! I love all of these.

Fave memory is my daughter's 2nd and 3rd Christmases, when she really was wowed by the magic of it all. She still is, but seeing that response for the first/second time was priceless!

  83. Gorgeous projects! From the very simple to the more embellished, I love them! My favorite holiday memory was from last Christmas when my parents who live in a different province came for Christmas to surprise the family. It was the first time in almost 20 years that we were able to spend Christmas together! It was magical 🙂

  84. My favorite holiday memory is when I had my first son and he finally got Christmas morning and he would run down the stairs with such a look of joy – it made Christmas magic again 🙂

  85. Incredible video Karin, and great job to the DT as always! My fave memory is when my daughter was 4 and really understood what was going to happen Christmas morning. It was so fun watching her be so excited waiting for Santa and then opening all his presents 🙂

  86. Beautiful creations everyone. TFS.
My fav holiday memory is when our daughter was a little one.
She has 7 aunts and uncles and as they each gave her their packages the pile on her lap got bigger and bigger and so did her eyes.
    It was priceless.
Thanks for the walk down memory lane.
    Crafty hugs,
    D~

  87. When I was a kid, we would always have a long drive (8-12 hrs. depending on where we were living) back to my Grandparents' for Christmas. We would use the time to come up with a theme, and write a new version of the 12 Days of Christmas (silly, of course!) and then we would sing it for the family when we got there. SO fun!

  88. fun, cute and amazing projects today. So much fabulous inspiration. Favorite Christmas memory is our annual Christmas breakfast for family and friends and anyone who is alone on Christmas. We serve waffles with strawberry and whipped cream and link sausages for up to 50 people every Christmas day and have been doing this since 1958. We now are serving our 4th generation of family and friends even if they are all under 10 years old..

  89. Great projects- I love all of the elements in the Pa-Rum-Pa-Pum-Pum card. My favorite memory actually would probably be from last year. My 5yr old was questioning whether Santa is real (at 5?! TOO SOON!) and I didn't want to lie but I didn't want to lose the magic so soon. We had made him a light table from an old light fixture (better than buying one for $250+!!) When he asked, I asked him where he thought the light table came from- did he think daddy and I could make something like that. He thought a moment and decided that there was just no way we could have done something that cool so it must have come from Santa. 🙂

  90. Loved Karin's video. She is the Distress Ink champ. Lovely project today. Some of my best memories are making homemade ornaments and cards with my kids—-many, many years ago. Thanks for the inspiration.

  91. All of these projects are just fantastic! So many great ideas and inspiration. The layout caught my eye, great design and I love that little deer, he's adorable.
Well there's like a million fun memories to chose from, but I'll go with when my oldest was 4mos old and had totally nailed rolling. You could put her anywhere on the living room floor and come back to find her under the Christmas tree watching the lights twinkle.

  92. Beautiful projects. My favorite memory was the year Santa came to our house on the fire truck for my kids. He just came running through the front door and had a treat and a gift for each of them. It was so neat.

  93. My favorite memories of of decorating the tree with all the special ornaments we had collected over the years. It's still one of my favorite activities. Love the cards! My favorite is the reindeer one!

  94. Such cute projects (and that deer is calling my name!) ! My favorite holiday memory is coming home from family get togethers, and the house was warm and cozy and the tree lights were the only light on. It was such Christmasy feeling, esp. when my mom and sister would just hang out on the cough chatting up a storm! 🙂

  95. You girls really know how to create some beautiful projects and layouts! Love them all! My favorite holiday memory goes back to when I was a little girl and my grandparents were still living… everyone would gather together at my grandparent's house(about 25 of us) and we would all eat a nice Italian Christmas dinner, have fresh baked cookies, sing Christmas songs together and open up presents… it was beautiful.. and then we would all go to midnight Mass.
    Hugs,

  96. Fantastic projects. I love Karin's video great distress colouring. Being in the middle of summer here during the holiday season we often get thunderstorms. My favourite holiday memory is how my sister and I used to collect hail (never anything big and damaging) which we put in our drinks at Christmas. We didn't care if it contained a little bit of grass and dirt it was all part of the wonder of ice from the sky.

  97. My favourite memory is just the feeling of excitement that Christmas morning would bring. My Mum would always be the most excited and we would all be grinning madly in minutes!

  98. my grandfather used to own a dairy when i was a kid. we were at my grandparent's on Xmas when i was 3 or 4 yrs old. in the middle of the night, my cousin & i woke up to Santa leaving our toys. we were so excited! but we wanted Grandpa to meet Santa. unfortunately, a cow was giving birth & he was called out in the middle of the night & missed Santa. we were so sad for him!

  99. my favourite holiday memory is not decorating the tree until my dad's work went into 'shutdown' for the holidays, he would come home with a big box of chocolate and the whole family would dress the christmas tree and hang decorations around the room, often this wasn't until a day or two before christmas, but it meant the holiday had properly started.

I adore Yainea's card, and love this inspiration week is covering sets old and new

  100. My favorite holiday memories are as a child spending Christmas eve at my grandparents with all of the family and now I am able to make the same memories for my children. I love the magic of Christmas and the wonder and joy it brings surrounded by family.

  101. Adorable projects! My favorite holiday memory is sitting in the hot tub with my husband enjoying a local brew with the snow falling and the Christmas lights in the surrounding trees twinkling all around us. Magical!

  102. Favorite holiday memories are spending the day with family, my parents and my sister and her family would all come down to our house for the holidays.

  103. We always went driving on Christmas Eve to enjoy the decorations and lights. I had my kids write thank you notes and they would leave them in the mail boxes of their favorite. Of course we didn't sign the thank you notes. A few months after Christmas one year, I was with a group of older women from our town and one lady mentioned she had gotten a thank you note for her Christmas decorations, She said it made her Christmas, as her husband had died the previous year and she almost didn't put up any decorations , but decided to as it was always their holiday tradition. I couldn't wait to get home and tell my kids about how important their thank you notes really were.

  104. The reindeer is too adorable! I love all the cards in this post.

My favorite holiday memory is from last year, actually. I overheard my two kids conspiring to stay up so they could see Santa leaving their presents under the tree. They had a pretty elaborate plan, too! It involved flashlights and tying a rope around the tree with a bell on it to act like an alarm system. Just thinking about it brings a big smile to my face.

  105. First of all that first card is the cutest thing ever!! As for my favorite holiday memory I think that would have to be when my brother, sister, and I lined up in the hall and got to come down to the living room to see what Santa left for us. Christmas morning is very special to me and I can't wait to share it with my newborn son!

  106. My favorite holiday memory is when I was in 6th grade and my sisters and I found a "Charlie Brown Christmas Tree" in our back woods. It was really a branch, but we loved it! We took it inside and put it in a pot. We got a few ornaments and had our own tree! That still brings a smile to my face when I think about it!

  107. My favorite holiday memory was when I was in 6th grade and my sisters and I found a "Charlie Brown Christmas Tree" in our back woods. It was really a branch! We put it in a pot and decorated it with some ornaments. That memory still brings a smile to my face!
