May Arts Week Day 4 + video

It’s May Arts + Lawn Fawn week! We are teaming up with May Arts to bring you a fun week of projects! So after you check out this post, make sure to head on over to the May Arts blog!

Linda dyed this May Arts ribbon with watercolors! Isn’t that a brilliant idea?! It looks like the ocean! Make sure to check out her blog for a tutorial! I love how ribbon can be used to create scenes for stamp sets like Float My Boat!

Tiffany has created a super cool watercolored card with Chevron Backdrops and Happy Easter! The May Arts ribbon is perfect for creating a cute banner!

Tiffany has also put together a super cute video for us! You can watch it here or at our YouTube channel!

Thank you so much for watching!

Don’t forget to comment all this week. We will randomly pick 3 winners from comments throughout the week on this blog and the May Arts blog

  1. DELIGHTFUL pair of cards – LOVE the colours, stamps, ribbons and designs!!!
THANK YOU for sharing your CREATIVE INSPIRATION & informative video tutorial 🙂

… heading over to learn more about Linda's ribbon watercolour technique now!!!

  2. I was happy to see how easy it was to use the Gelatos. I liked the dea of using the journaling card on top of the regular sized card. Thank for the video. It was so well done.

  3. Adorable cards, lovely video and great lesson with Gelattos. Thanks for sharing with us. Never would have thought about dying the ribbon either.

  4. How cute the Easter egg swag with bows is.
I have never seen ribbon like that. Way to go Mays Art Ribbon!
Very cute. Plus who knew you could color ribbon,
Love It. Thanks Lawn Fawn and May Arts Ribbon

  5. The dyed ribbon is an awesome idea! I love how the ink has flowed upwards on the top one and the crinkly wave effect.
The little Easter eggs tied onto the ribbon with the bows give it such a sweet effect.
Beautiful cards and great work! 🙂

  6. Ok, I am sorry to leave such a long comment but I just have to tell you what I think of this video. Tiffany, this is a wonderful little card and I love everything about it. I bought a small set of starter gelatos last month as I watch Vicky P on Youtube always making such wonderful Art Journal pages. I got it into my head that I too could do this. Well, I just have to tell you that I am so so relieved to see that you can also you them on cards as a watercolor sort of thing. No, I won't be making any journal pages anytime soon, but thanks to you I will be giving gelatos another try when I make a water color card. I just love how you even used them to paint your little eggs. What a great idea. I also LOVE, LOVE that ribbon with the little bow already on it. You made the perfect little banner to showcase your Easter eggs, and I love that idea, You really came up with a great idea and I am sure that even I could do that. Thanks so much for making me feel so much better about wasting money on a product that I thought I would never get any use out of. I now know that I will and it's all thanks to you. Again, this card is just beautiful and I think it makes for an adorable Easter card for a child or an adult either way. Hugs Lisa G
