We Wish You a Very Fawny Holiday Week 2015 {day 4}

Hello everyone! Welcome to our special inspiration week, “Have a Very Fawny Holiday”! This week is all about getting ideas for the upcoming Holidays! There are Design Team samples, giveaways and videos! (Make sure to comment for a chance to win a stamp set of your choice and a Let’s Bokeh in the Snow 6×6 pad!)
We will be featuring Lawn Fawn Holiday products this week, both old and new! Woohoo! And, we also have team members from Lawn Fawn Head Quarters (LFHQ) and our friends from Lawnscaping joining us for extra inspiration! I can’t wait to show you all of these gorgeous projects!
Let’s check out some awesome samples!

Yainea created a sweet snowy scene using Winter in the Park and the snowman from Ready Set Snow! I love pretty glow of the streetlight!

Samantha‘s layout is so gorgeous! I love the effect of the paint dripping over the white embossed Let it Snow trees!

Rebecca is our newest LFHQ teamie, and she jumped right in with an adorable snow globe shaker card! I love how she combined Yeti Set Go with Ready Set Snow and Toboggan Together to create this fun snowy scene!

Kate‘s Toboggan Together card is so cute and clever! I love how she placed the Quinn’s Capital ABCs letters on the sleds with the cute deer sitting on top! The inky sky is just gorgeous!

Scripty Joy takes center stage on this gorgeous design by Melissa S. I just love the beautiful color wash with the glitter die cut! A sentiment from Let’s Bokeh is the perfect finish!

I love Ivy‘s fun and festive holiday decor! Glittery green Louie’s ABCs letters and bright white Stitched and Mini Snowflakes look fabulous on the red burlap base!

Angel created a beautiful Christmas card with Joy to the Woods! I love the white embossed ornaments on the pretty red background!

Karin‘s coloring is always so amazing! The beautiful inky background makes the cute Toboggan Together critters stand out. I love the way she added the holly to this lovely card design!

Wow! I love the way Jess stamped this beautiful bokeh design! The addition of the holly and berries from Baaah Humbug gives it a fun holiday look. Scripty Cheers works perfectly with the Let’s Bokeh greeting!

I hope you have enjoyed this fun look at some of our Holiday sets. Tomorrow we have another fun Fawny Holiday celebration!

  1. I love the burlap sign that is just so cute, hmmm what made me smile today, well its only 10.37am here in the UK and so far I have smiles at the Lawn Fawn blog and all its prettyness 🙂 hope that counts xx

  2. What a wonderful collection of projects. What made me smile today was the real arrival of summer, hot, fabulous sunset that I got to see from my veranda rather than arriving home in the dark, fresh cut grass smell – fantastic.

  3. FABULOUS projects to get me in INSPIRED for Christmas crafting – THANK YOU – THIS is EXACTLY what I NEED!!!
My Mum made me smile on the phone today. She is just about to start a new medication and had to have a full dental check-up before taking it. She went expecting to have at least one filling, maybe even an extraction. About 2 hours after her scheduled appointment time, the phone rang, it was Mum cheerily saying that everything was fine, the dentist was happy, didn't need to drill or do anything apart from a routine clean & polish 🙂
… now I am happy to wait for the next milestone, knowing that there are treatment options, hoping to hear that the medication is helping Mum, fingers & toes crossed.

  4. What makes me smile is my daughter making and doing things for other people. She was piecing a pillow for her Nana who is so very special to her and is not doing well and piecing a baby quilt for a teacher at the middle school she teaches at last night. The pillow is mostly done and the quilt top mostly done as well.

  5. Beautiful cards and pages! Since it's early in the day, so far what has made me smile is a kind driver that let me into a lane I was trying to get into on my way to work!
    Hugs.

  6. All of these cute cards made me smile, starting with Yainea's most adorable card! Love the little scene she created. I also love Melissa's CAS card … could easily mass produce this little beauty. Great job everyone & thanks for making me smile all week!

  7. Fabulous creations! Loved each and every one of them ♥

What has made me smile today…..my furbabies. They are all so quirky in different ways, and never fail to bring a smile to my face first thing in the morning (h)

  8. The little yeti card made me smile! I just woke up and I'm drinking my coffee and reading blogs, so I really haven't had much of a chance for smiling yet. Thanks for giving me one to start my day!

  9. I took my Yorkie over to my mother's house to spend the night last night (she is 85 and likes to have us there).
This morning Tank (my Yorkie) jumped on her bed, barked and kissed her to wake her up. She loved it and they
spent an hour cuddling in bed.

  10. More amazing and inspiring ideas!! Thank you 🙂 something that made me smile… That's easy I woke up this morning to a text from my partner that said "good morning beautiful". That's made me smile!

  11. Love it all! I smiled today when my 8 year old son got up early to see me before I left for work and then went back to bed until it was time for all the kiddos to get up for school! And then again when my hubby stopped by work and brought me a coffee!

  12. The little area where my office located has these cute old fashioned street lights (similar to the light post in Winter in the Park!) and they put greenery and wreaths on them for Christmas! Seeing them up today made me smile and so happy! 🙂

  13. Every Lawn Fawn set I own makes me smile!…I love the Inspirations I find in my e mail…they make me smile…& I want to make them all-right now! it's contagious!

  14. These made me smile! So cute! I had to go to jury duty this morning. While I did not really want to be there, the gorgeous pink sunrise made me smile. As it turns out, I was excused from the jury box. Not sure why other than I served on a trial last week. I got to enjoy this cold but sunny day!

  15. I smiling really big because my son is on his way to visit. We haven't seen him for a year and 8 months, but who's counting. The house smells of apples and cinnamon. Thanks for the inspiration!

  16. My heroic husband made me smile today. He donated a kidney 2 days ago and was discharged from the hospital today. There was a lot going on, but in a quiet moment, he came over to me, gave me a quick kiss and told me he loved me. I couldn't love him more. – Kristina

  18. These cards make me smile. Love Kate's, Karin's and Yaniea's, and the Bokeh..oh, they are all good! The other thing that made me smile is my Newfoundland puppy tearing through the house at full speed with a roll of tp trailing from her mouth. The look of pure joy in her eyes was amazing!!

  19. Great projects, especially appreciated Jess' card! My 2 yr. old granddaughter put a butterfly sticker on her new baby brother's cheek ( he is 2 weeks old) 'because he is pretty'! Made me smile and still does!

  20. I have finally won the trust of my formally feral cat Sigmond. This morning when he came over to get snuggled that made me smile.
All of these sample projects are just beautiful!

  21. My pup jumping up into my lap and licking my face made me smile this morning. Great idea cards! Jess' bokeh design card really caught my eye.

  22. What has made me smile today? Your Holiday Inspiration posts, of course! SERIOUSLY! I do love looking at all the great designs and they DO make me smile. But I will tell you something else that made me smile. My friend & I were texting. I was talking about how cool and rainy it was here in PA today, and she sent me a pic of her wearing SHORTS! (Tracy loves to wear shorts year 'round, even pairing them with a warm hoodie in the winter!) When I told her I squealed when i saw that she was wearing shorts, she laughed so hard she snorted and then spewed out what she was drinking!! LOL Smiles are a wonderful and laughter does good like medicine, so I hope everyone smiles and/or laughs some today! 🙂

  23. These are fantastic. I love how Jess used the bokeh set. And I keep telling myself I need to get the Winter in the Park set — so cute! Reading an email from one of my students this morning made me smile.

  24. Thinking about not working next week and spending quality time with the hubs is making me smile today. And these projects have inspired me and made me smile all week.

  25. All the comments before me – and yes, I read them! – have brought a mega–watt smile to my face! Hearing about the joy others experience makes me incredibly happy…and so does the love of my husband who really does love the me who is sometimes *quite* a me! Thank you for today's amazing inspiration!

  26. I agree with one of the post with the burlap sign, super cute!! Might have to use this idea for a project of mine. Can't wait to get more and make more holiday cards.

  27. What made me smile…being with my friends this morning and giving a person who helped us a handmade "thank you" card (of course) and a gift of cheesecake. Thankful for the beautiful day!!

  28. I took my two kids to Target and we had such a fun time. Checked out all the Christmas decorations and even went down a couple toy aisles without any tears. Success! And a big smile for me.

  29. Wonderful projects with awesome Lawn Fawn products!
What made me smile today? My dog Lucy. She's been loving the cooler temps we've had lately (we live in S. Texas, so it's been in the 60's-70's – fall weather at last!). Today she was chasing squirrels, and no, she hasn't caught one yet, but it's hilarious when she darts off to try!

  30. Awesome cards, decor and layouts. They make me smile!
My new Beta fish will go over on top of the bubbles and burst up to the top so fast in all the bubbles. Then he will turn and do it again and again. That not just made me smile; it made me laugh and laugh! I've named him Herbie.
Thanks so much for sharing with us!!!

  31. Love the projects today. Always so much inspiration to see here. Love it! My husband made me smile today. Love him to pieces and just being with him makes me smile.

  32. wow – more fun and adorable ways to incorporate Lawn Fawn products into our holiday cheer. Today (as always) my dog greeted me at the front door with his toy – ready and willing to play fetch just as soon as I could put my purse down. He makes me smile at the end of my very long days.

  33. Thanks for sharing your sweet projects everyone.
One of the things that made me smile today was when one of the students I worked with in the past asked if she could interview me for an article she is writing in class. She asked me questions about my cards. When I started creating them and why etc. What a sweet honor.
    Crafty hugs,

  34. Fabulous projects!
What made me smile today…. I am sick today, coming down with a lousy cold, and I didn't think I had any Kleenex! Made me smile to discover an almost-full box! Happy to have it and not have to go out to the store! Now to get better….

  35. So many beautiful cards and other projects. Really love Kate's Toboggan Together card and Melissa S's too. What made me smile today is the air-conditioning in the supermarket – it's 41C here and the air-conditioning at home is broken.

  36. WOWOWOWOWOWOW!! AMAZING Inspiration!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE them ALL!! Today marked the 1/2 way point of my Radiation and Chemo Treatments!! YIPPEE!! So of course that MADE ME SMILE!! =) THANKS for sharing and for the chance to WIN!! Have FABULOUS WEEK!! =)

  37. Super cute creations! One of my 3rd grade students made me smile today when he very sweetly asked me if I was okay after hearing me coughing. The look on his face was precious!

  38. My three year old son makes me smile everyday, but i had a good laugh when i went to check on him (it was a little too quiet) and found him covered in baby powder from head to toe!

  39. I have started charity campaign in my company, we are collecting childrens clothing and toys for homeless kiss. Yesterday some of my colleagues brought me so much stuff from their own kids, i was really happy!

  40. Coming home after a long day at work and finding an owl perched on the top of our house, hooting away. What a great end to the day, this made me smile. P.S. this is the first time I seen an owl in the big city!

  41. Holding my one month old grandson made me smile today! Thank you for including scrapbook pages in your inspiration weeks as I am looking forward to scrapping many, many pages of him!

  42. My doggie, Peanut, when she jumps on the bed with her morning kisses…followed closely by our cat, Richard Parker and they start playing in bed. That's how we start each day… as a family.

  43. Great holiday projects! I have yet to start on anything, been behind all year and now is no exception! Keep the inspiration coming, I've got tons of things on my "I want list". I'm so excited that you will be adding a wish list to your store soon. Nellie, a medium sized chihuahua makes me smile. She is rather gopher like in that she stands up on her hind feet for many things, scritches, treats, or excitement. It's so funny (funny-weird) and sad at the same time. She's rehomed with us, as our son rescued her from a life of living in a doggie crate because we had to put another beloved chi to sleep in the Spring. It's taken her from April to Oct just to learn how to be a dog who is loved freely because it's what "we" do. She LOVES the grands, ages 3 and 9 mos, which makes me smile too! She does not like for them to be in any kind of distress. Thanks, Paulette S.

because even tho Google didn't fix my blogger profile for blog that was moved to WP in 2012, with closed email! Forced me to create a G+ page for a blog that no longer exists and it still didn't fix or edit the inaccurate blogger profile or replace it!!! Is anyone really working over at Google? Or are they just making things more complicated than necessary as usual…

  44. oooh what a lovely cards they made!
    what made me smile today!?
loooots of crafty time coming up!
    my weekend counts 4 days,
    and this is day 1…
    woehoeeeee
hihi fingers crossed for those lovely stamps!
    liefs,

  45. What amazing and beautiful projects! The thought of not having to work at all next week is what made me smile this morning! I have enough overtime hours built up that I can take the entire week of Thanksgiving off and will still have enough hours of time to take a week off at Christmas too! Yes, I work that much! LOL

  46. The sun! Temps are really starting to drop here this weekend – but boy, seeing the sun so bright outside makes it a little bit more bearable – always makes me smile! Wonderful inspiration from everyone again!!

  47. Love the cards and the door hanging. My little dog made me smile today. I woke up to him lying on my pillow, right beside my head. He's so sweet.. (when he's sleeping) ♥

  48. Honestly what made me smile today was seeing the Yeti in the snowglobe. I am still at Mayo Clinic and today has been an upsetting and pain filled day, so I appreciated looking at something that made me happy and took my mind off medical things for a little while.

  49. Great projects. For the past week the weather here has been typical November – rainy windy and gray al around. This morning there was a bit of sunshine and that made me smile.
