I love how Nichol used the Fa la la la la Border to separate the patterns of Perfectly Plaid Winter paper. Using one pattern on the diagonal and the other straight adds interest to the background. The cute Winter Sparrows with their music notes and sweet sentiment coordinate beautifully!

With a title from Winter Big Scripty Words, some simple stamping and beautifully coordinated Perfectly Plaid Winter papers, Melissa created a layout that let’s her photos shine!

Elise used the smaller patterns from the Perfectly Plaid Winter 6×6 paper pad to create the sky and frame her charming critter-filled winter scene!

I love Audrey‘s adorable seal from Narwhal and Friends! His cap is die cut from Perfectly Plaid Winter and Black Licorice cardstock. She completed her card with the ice from Critters in the Arctic, lots of Mini Snowflakes and the perfect sentiment from Snow Cool!

Elena layered a Stitched Scalloped Border edged paper with a coordinating pattern as a base for the cute mini Snow Cool scene! The greeting is white-embossed on a Narwhal cardstock die cut Everyday Sentiment Banner.

Lizzy created cute gift packages from 6×6 size Perfectly Plaid Winter that she die cut using Dotted Rectangle and  Dotted Square Stackables! She tied them up using Put a Bow on It mini bows! I love the glittery Scripty Merry that plays so nicely with a Merry Messages sentiment!

Latisha decorated a simple kraft gift bag by mixing and matching her plaids! The tags, the Scripty Merry and the paper strips all coordinate perfectly!

I love how Chari paper-pieced the Making Frosty Friends snowmen with coordinating Perfectly Plaid papers!

The frosty colors of Perfectly Plaid Winter provide the perfect backdrop for Lynnette‘s Snow Cool scene! This Scalloped Treat Box is a sweet way to package up a little holiday gift!

Yainea created a fun scene for her shaker window with Stitched Mountain Borders and Stitched Tree Borders. The cute critters from Cheery Christmas and the Winter Big Scripty Words greeting are the perfect finish!

  16. Fun stuff with gorgeous plaids! As for winter traditions, I honestly can't think of any that aren't tied to Christmas. I guess simply watching my son play in the snow if we get any is about it.

  32. I adore plaid paper. It's my favorite go to designer paper. These are gorgeous patterns and colors. My favorite winter activity is cooking from scratch. During the summer I'm likely to make quick meals and not get too fancy. Just throw something on the grill or throw together a salad. But during the winter I love to make soups and fancy meals and heat up my house with the oven. So much fun!

  33. The Winter Plaid Collection color theme is my favorite. Reminds me of my favorite ice cream, Mint Chocolate Chip. My favorite tradiation is gathering my husband and our children to bake homemade cookies & fudge for gifting to friends, family, teachers, customers, and local business owners! Be merry & share the creative, delicious treats!♡

  34. My favorite winter tradition is being around family and drinking hot chocolate..love this plaid paper collection.

  35. The day after Thanksgiving we go to the Holiday Stroll in a nearby town and visit stores offering treats and one church offers a meal. There are carolers, reindeer, Santa and the Nativity with a parade, too.

  36. These fantastic projects are a game-changer for me. I already knew I loved the scripty words, but the winter papers hadn't really "hit me" yet. (I already loved the Fall Perfectly Plaid, though!) After seeing today's designs, I am totally liking the Winter Plaid as well! Great job by all the designers!

  37. Love the collection! A favorite winter tradition is making tamales with my family. Every year we say it's easier just to buy them, but the memories we make are just priceless. 💜

  38. I love these beautiful plaids! My favorite winter tradition would still be snow angels and snow forts on the first falling snow. And of course, hot chocolate afterward.

  39. My favorite winter tradition is baking lots of holiday cookies with my niece (her mom and my mom are not into baking). We make lots of treats and after a light meal of homemade stew or soup, we gorge on cookies and watch holiday movies! 🙂

I've only had time to make one card using these plaid papers, but it was appreciated. 🙂 I can't really think of a winter tradition not involving Christmas somehow. Staying home, drinking warm tea is not so much a tradition as a survival strategy (it's cooold outside).

  63. I just LOVE this perfectly plaid paper!!! It is so perfect for all winter projects and I really love plaid in general. Love all the sweet projects! One of our most favorite winter traditions is to go riding around the neighborhoods to look at all the homes decorated for the holiday… we love to see all the lights on the homes and the lawns decorated with blow-ups and animated reindeer and snowmen! And usually on this same night that we drive around looking at all the beautiful lights, once we get home.. we drink a hot cup of cocoa while we watch Miracle on 34th Street. And yes, we do have peppermint sticks and marshmallows in our cocoa! 🙂
    Hugs,
    Jo

  66. GORGEOUS plaids, FABULOUS projects to INSPIRE!!!
I have two favourite traditions, the 1st is before Christmas, making one-of-a-kind cards to send family & friends, the other is having the family gather together for a traditional hot Christmas lunch, FUN times with plenty of roast turkey & plum pudding left over to enjoy on Boxing Day 🙂

  67. When you say winter I think January and February and that happens to be my granddaughters birthdays. We take them to Disneyland and they get dressed up as princesses. They are so cute.

  69. I love how everyone of these gorgeous projects looks so much more gorgeous with the Perfectly Plaid!! My fav' tradition is making all my yummy baked goodies!! 70. Our winter tradition is to buy our children a Christmas ornament each year that symbolizes what their life was like for that year. For instance, if my daughter was REALLY into The Little Mermaid, I bought her a mermaid ornament; if she was into ice skating, I bought her a ice skater on a compact mirror ornament. It's fun to see how my daughters have changed throughout the years.

  71. My favorite Christmas tradition is getting the whole family together to bake Christmas cookies and decorate the Christmas tree while we listen to our favorite Christmas music!

  72. I love everything I have seen so far. You guys are geniuses at creating beautiful and fun cards.
My favorite winter tradition is many and varied. I love to make soup and we don't like cold soup so we only eat it when its cold. One of my faves is Mac & Cheese soup along with mom's chicken noodle soup. I also love to bake cookies but its kind of hot in the summer to turn on the oven and bake cookies. My faves are cut out cookies. I also love to decorate for the holidays. I love to turn on the Christmas music or Christmas specials while I am decorating, anything to get in the holiday spirit.

  73. Loving Perfectly Plaid Winter!!!
My favorite winter tradition is taking our sweet little Beagle up into the mountains for a snow play day!!! She absolutely LOVES to run and prance around in the snow and sniffs around til jackfrost starts nipping at her nose…and mine, lol!!! We bring a thermos full of hot cocoa and fresh doughnuts and just have a most delightful time! It's definitely my most favorite winter family tradition!!

  75. My favorite winter tradition is to wake up super early on St. Lucia morning (13th Of december). Make coffee, light every candle I have, heat up some traditional swedish saffron buns and pick a few home made gingerbread cookies put everything on a Tracy and crawl up in our comfy Sofia and at 07:00am watch the candlelit Lucia procession on tv. It is BEAUTIFUL!!!!! Kindly/Vanessa
