Lawn Fawn + Chibitronics Day Two

We are so excited to be partnering with our friends at Chibitronics for three days of clever and creative posts! Chibitronics makes awesome kits to allow you to add lights and power to your paper crafting projects! Be sure to check out their blog today for more creative ideas and tutorials by their talented designers!

Elise‘s Ahoy Matey card is so amazing! I love how the X marks the spot to make the pirate treasure glow!

Robin‘s card is sweet and feminine with Pretty Poppies! To welcome a new baby girl she combined Scripty Congrats with a Harold’s ABCs custom sentiment stamped in our new Ballet Slippers ink. I love how she added light up centers to the poppies for an extra special touch!

I thought it would be fun to re-visit a very popular video by Yainea featuring Chibitronics! I hope you enjoy it! You can watch it here or at our YouTube channel.

Thanks so much for watching!

Yainea used our classic set, Summertime Charm, to make this awesome firefly design! Her ink-blending and Copic coloring skills are amazing!

To celebrate our collaboration this week Chibitronics and Lawn Fawn will each be giving away a great prize to commenters on our blogs over the next 3 days. We will randomly select a winner to receive a $30.00 gift certificate to lawnfawn.com! And Chibitronics is giving away a starter kit to one lucky winner!
Now it’s time to visit the Chibitronics blog!

Thank you so much for visiting!
Have an amazing day,

  1. When I saw your yesterdays poston your blog, my first idea was to create a card with chibitronics and the gorgeous pirate stamp set. And now I see, Elise did just the same. It is so amazing!!!

  2. Great cards! I'm expecially drawn to the jar card- I used to catch "lightening bugs" on Sat night while Mom & Dad were grilling. Good memories. Anyway, love the lights!

  3. Those are so fun! I wouldn't think to put lights behind the flowers, but I love it. The fireflies in the jar are really fun too. The glowing treasure would be such a fun surprise for a kid's card! Thanks for sharing these fun ideas!

  4. I just love how all the card's came out. I have a starter set of Chibitronics sitting on my crafting table but have not tried it out yet because it looks so complicated. I know soon I will just have to dive in and try them out.

  5. The fire flies are so cute & I loved the glowing pirate treasure. I have seen these lights used in such clever ways, even in pocket letters. Maybe I can figure them out 🙂

  6. All of the samples are really awesome!! Can't get enough of the pirates, I've been making a bunch of kid cards to donate and this is the perfect set for that! Thanks for even more inspiration.

  7. I remember watching the firefly video back when it came out and wanting to make some of these myself. Love all the ideas. The light up gold is great, and the flowers are clever.

  8. Another dose of fabulousness showcasing chibitronics lights. I'm really liking the fireflies!! Such a great way to make a card or project interactive!!

  9. I really like how the lighting effects work well with elements that you wouldn't expect – like with the flowers! Such a great idea!

  10. Kelly, ALL of the designers did SUCH an incredible job of their cards. There was SO much inspiration for these three days. Thanks for having this hop, I learned so much.
