Lawn Fawn Intro: Gift Card Pop-Up, Stitched Woodgrain Backdrop + Knock on Wood


Hello and welcome to Lawn Fawn’s Fall/Winter 2017 Inspiration and Release week! On August 24th our 14 new stamp sets and their coordinating dies, 24 new stand alone die sets, 3 new paper collections, 4 new ink cube sets and our brand new glitter and embossing powder will be for sale at your favorite store and at www.lawnfawn.com! This week we will focus on 4 new stamp sets and their coordinating dies, 12 standalone dies, and our Knock on Wood paper collection! Then in September and October we will highlight the rest of this Fall/Winter 2017 Release with design team samples, intro videos and of course, giveaways!

Today is our showcase of Gift Card Pop-Up, Stitched Woodgrain Backdrop and Knock on Wood paper collection! Adhere the Gift Card Pop-up inside a standard sized greeting card, and tuck a gift card inside the slot to create a pop-up surprise! Instantly create a beautiful woodgrain texture with our Stitched Woodgrain Backdrop die! Knock on Wood is a collection of woodgrain patterns in fun colors for Fall that make a great backdrop for your cards and crafts. The design team has made the most amazing samples! We also have intro videos showcasing some fun ways to use these new products!

I love how Chari decorated the front of her lovely card with Knock on Wood paper, Stitched Woodgrain Backdrop and the adorable trees from Shadow Box Card!

Inside is a fun surprise courtesy of Gift Card Pop-Up, Stitched Hillside Borders and more colorful trees!

Who wouldn’t love a gift card delivered in a card this beautiful?

Latisha‘s adorable card is clean and simple and she added lots of great texture with a Stitched Woodgrain Backdrop and the woodgrain pattern from Knock on Wood!

I love how Lynnette used the new Fall Tiny Tags to create a beautiful Autumn card design! The Stitched Woodgrain Backdrop adds wonderful rustic charm!

Lizzy created an adorable scene for her Gift Card Pop-up! I love how she cut the Stitched Mountain Borders from the dark brown Armoire paper from Knock on Wood, such a great idea!

The colors in our new Knock on Wood paper collection coordinate really well with Perfectly Plaid Fall on Melissa M’s beautiful scrapbook layout!  I love the random with lengths and widths of the colorful paper strips!

Elise‘s lovely card has so much detail from combining our Large Wreath on an Outside in Stitched Scalloped Circle! The greeting is from Here We Go A-Waddling; I love how Elise stamped it on a Bannertastic banner!

Melissa S created this lovely birthday themed scrapbook page using Knock on Wood coordinating papers! I love the title she made with Scripty Happy and a sentiment from Happy Happy Happy!

Audrey‘s fun Happy Harvest design is adorable with its blue and tan color combo! I love how the Stitched Woodgrain Backdrop adds great texture to the background!

I love Lynnette‘s beautiful Christmas card with the fun Gift Card Pop-up surprise inside! The traditional colors of the Knit Picky papers are so fun and festive!

Stitched Woodgrain Backdrop adds lot of fun texture to Elena‘s sweet card featuring Shut the Front Door! I love the cute critter behind the door!

How sweet are Elena‘s little boxes? She die cut them with the Tiny Gift Box die then added the Stitched Woodgrain Backdrop pattern to the pieces before assembling the boxes.

Melissa M. has another gorgeous layout that combines the great colors of Knock on Wood paper with Perfectly Plaid Fall! I love the fun triangle theme of this moving day page!

  15. My favorite thing about fall is that the sunsets seem to be more vivid! But I also love love love driving through the country and seeing all the color palettes in the trees as they change colors. Living in the Northwest gives ample opportunity to catch glimpses of these beauties.

We don't have much of a fall here in Houston but I love seeing pictures of trees changing in other places and thinking back to my childhood when I did see the beautiful colors of the changing leaves. The smell I really miss during fall and winter is of a good warm fire. A gas fire is as far as it goes down here for us., but we never have to go out into the cold to bring in firewood.

  52. Since I live in the caribbean, there's not really a season change when Fall comes. Leaves don't fall from the trees nor do they change colors. The only change is that the days get a little shorter and the temperature gets cooler. What I love most is that when Fall comes, it means Christmas is just around the corner. 🙂 Eeeek!

I love the cooler weather, the changing of the leaves, the crisp air smell, the holidays, the extended family time, football, apple pies, pumpkin everything, apple picking, I could go on and on.m, but unfortunately, I live in Texas and we don't get to experience fall.

  56. The COLORS of fall would probably be my favorite. The colors of the leaves on the trees. The vibrant colors of pumpkins and the soothing color of the hot cocoa. The color of the apples just picked from the orchard. And the color of our cheeks from the brisk autumn breeze. (Yeah, I love fall!)

  57. My fav thing about Fall is when my hubby carves the Halloween pumpkin. We carve styrofoam pumpkins instead of real and use a light inside and can use the pumpkin every year. Like the dimension that the stitching adds to the creations.
