A Chalkboard Card Set with Grace

Grace joins us today to share a creative card set with a chalkboard design!

Grace covered Bristol smooth cardstock with Black Soot Distress Oxide ink, then she sprinkled the panels with water to bring out the oxide. To frame each chalkboard she used 6×6 papers from Let It Shine and Really Rainbow that she die cut with Stitched Rectangle Frames.

For the get well card, Grace has the cute A Creature Was Stirring mice cooking up some yummy soup! For all of the designs, she stamped the images and sentiments with clear embossing ink and then white heat-embossed them! She used colored pencils to color the images leaving the strokes unblended to look like chalk drawings. So clever!

The holiday card features the cute mice again with the hot beverages from Thanks a Latte! The red and white stripes add the perfect festive frame!

The mice are back whipping up a delicious birthday cake from Birthday Before ‘n Afters! Grace stamped out “happy” using Quinn’s Capital ABCs. I love how she colored them in rainbow colors to match the Really Rainbow frame! She added a Fancy Wavy Banner to frame the sentiment that is white embossed directly on the card panel.

Thank you so much for bringing back the chalkboard look, Grace! Your creative card set is so inspiring!
