Wishing friends and family a merry Christmas is so easy with Joy to All! Elena‘s lovely design focuses the attention on the beautiful tree as the cute little kids open their presents! I love the clever detail of the Tiny Winter Friends snowman in the picture frame, so cute!

Elise created a charming “howliday” card featuring the Furry and Bright puppies! She gave each one a unique look and then she added a fun and punny custom sentiment! Let it Shine Snowflakes adds lots of sparkle and shine in the background!

Megan‘s card is so amazing! I love how she added the Christmas tree to the Magic Iris Snow Globe Add-On! The little puppy from Furry and Bright is so adorable popping out of the box! And how cute are the stripes that she added to the pj’s?

Mindy filled up the length of her oh-so sweet slimline card with a fun mix of different sets! From Christmas Dreams she used the fireplace and for even more cozy cuteness she included the couch from Window Scene: Winter! I love how she combined the puppies from Joy to All and Furry and Bright to create a happy Christmas morning scene!

Audrey‘s festive Christmas card features a pair of Furry and Bright pups and the Christmas tree from Joy to All! The red Let it Shine Snowflakes paper in the background and the Mini Snowflakes add so much to this simply joyful holiday card!

Tammy‘s design is so whimsical and fun! Her Christmas tree-shaped puppy pile includes a couple cats from Purrfectly Wicked; they moved from Fall to holiday with the addition of a Santa hat! The cute string of lights and the reindeer hat are part of Furry and Bright!

Lynnette added a sentiment from Winter Big Scripty Words to her joyfully cute scene! The puppies decorating the tree are so cute!

For her simply adorable holiday card, Latisha swapped out the Joy to All puppy for the cat from Purrfectly Wicked Add-On! He even has a personalized food dish; that is so adorable!

These lucky kids got a cute puppy for Christmas! Elise used the gift box from Holiday Helpers for the happy surprise! I love how she added the pretty striped “wallpaper” using Plaid Stencils! It looks so festive!

Grace‘s slimline scene is so beautiful! She decked the halls with Christmas Garland and created a 3D Joy to All Christmas tree! I love all the extra little details on the packages and the tree!

Mindy created a beautiful starry sky outside the Window Frame! She arranged the Christmas tree in front of the window and then she added the happy kids and the puppy! She white embossed the greeting from Holiday Helpers on an Everyday Sentiment Banner.

  1. I love any holiday card that uses centre window picture cards or shadow boxes. My favourite Christmas stamp set is Christmas fishes. I live the seaweed tree and the santa hats. 🎄

  2. I love all the cards, but what card stood out to me was the card by Tammy Stark with the use of both cats and dogs in it to make a tree shape! It is so playful.

    1. I love using the string lights dies. It’s almost immediately festive no matter what you do with it. I also plan on getting the snow globe die. This looks awesome in samples.

    1. I love using the string lights dies. It’s almost immediately festive no matter what you do with it. I also plan on getting the snow globe die. This looks awesome in samples.

      1. Hi, Julia – You might want to redo your comment. It’s somehow embedded under Marieke’s comment. It has to be its OWN comment to be considered for the drawing.
        Lori S in PA

  3. I love Elise’s card! The patterned paper is lovely! My favorite holiday cards use sparkles and foil paper but also create a winter scene by the fire or Christmas tree

  4. Oh my goodness! I have too many Christmas sets and so many ideas that I can’t even decide where to begin! I do want to use the new penguin party but place them on a warm beach for Christmas since I live in Florida and we never see snow.

  5. My fav. holiday card idea is to use dies or stamped images of Santa on a sleigh with reindeers in the sky! Another one is “Christmas cookies” somewhere. lol

  6. I love using the string lights dies. It’s almost immediately festive no matter what you do with it. I also plan on getting the snow globe die. This looks awesome in samples.

  7. I am in charge of our family’s Christmas gift exchange. This year, to let everyone know to whom they will be gifting, I die-cut almost 2 dozen Magic Iris mechanisms. I assembled and decorated each one to look like unique Christmas ornaments. I punched a hole in the tabs to string a ribbon to hang them with a small name tag attached to each one. Soon, when the family members receive their ornament, they will open the Magic Iris to reveal their giftee’s name. I thought it would be so much more fun having an interactive element than to just say, you get “so and so” a present this Christmas.

    1. Wow!! Such a great idea! I’m normally in charge of our family’s version too (we call it “Secret Santa” here) but I’m not sure my family will be appreciative of the time spent making what you will be, which is a shame!

  8. I love the furry and bright set! The puppies are adorable! I tend to do outdoor scenes for my Christmas cards so I’d have the puppies romping through the snow while decorating a tree.

    1. I love to add sparkle to holiday cards. I love the card by Kelli Marie Alvarez that has the dog with a gift bone looking in the window at a joyful christmas scene. So cute!

  9. I love making Christmas/winter cards with little scenes. Isn’t that the definition of Lawn Fawn? He he he!

  10. I plan to make Christmas cards this year using lots of Lawn Fawn critters. I purchased the Merry Mice set and plan to use it this Christmas for my cards.

  11. I’m not sure what I’m going to do for Christmas cards next year (I’ve already got this year’s cards made) but I’m sure it will include some of the adorable lawn fawn critters!

  12. Any ideas that I have for Christmas cards usually involves dogs, so now I have 2 more sets that have dogs to use in all my creations!!!

  13. Oh gosh, I have to make so many cards, they need to be simple. I can squeeze through a few complex cards but the bulk have to be easy. A die cut sentiment and a cute stamped image or two. Sometimes i will make my own background but sometimes it’s patterned paper for the win!

  14. I make a variety of cards and always have a dog in it , or usually! This set is perfect – great job on the cards everyone!

  15. I like to do interactive cards. I’m thinking about having the Flippy Flappy pop out a cookie recipe! I better get busy, I send out over 80 cards!

  16. I really don’t have a favorite holiday card design, but I love *to make* a card that is simple, but still has a POW factor – glitter, color, embellishment, something to make it stand out.

  17. My Mom and I were talking yesterday about making and receiving cards. She loves all cards she receives but the ones that have been handmade – she loves them the most. She loves to look at the card and think about what went in to making the card. Mostly the love that goes into the card. That’s why I love this hobby so much – sending a little bit of myself in a card to those I love.
Love the stamps and dies showcased today! Grace’s 3D tree was amazing!

  18. I love the 3D tree on the card from Grace I definitely have to try that for this year’s Christmas cards 🎄

  19. Oh, that ‘Happy Howlidays’ one is brilliant!! (or should that be “Yappy” Howlidays!? :D)
LOVE that 3D tree one too, so clever!

  20. I love sending Christmas cards. I would like to have time to customize for each person, but usually I go in assembly style making each card similar. Interactive cards are so fun and the person receiving will play and continue enjoying them, rather than just sit and look at it. Love the doggies. Such fun inspiration cards!

  21. These are all wonderful! I have used this set to make a Christmas morning scene in front of the winter window. Also, like using the dogs with the tree.

  22. The dogs in the window are so cute! I love interactive cards, and I want to make some more flippy flappy cards this year for Christmas.

  23. I love giving gift cards in new and fun ways…so Flippy Flappy is going to be perfect for the holidays this year!

  24. I love snowflakes! Shaker cards with mini snowflakes would be super cute. I love using Lawn Fawns Stitched Hillside in a sparkly white paper to look like snow covered hills.

  25. I love interactive cards. I’d like to try using Flippy Flappy to make a small photo pop out for the recipient.

  26. I love making Christmas cards! My goal this year is the mix and match my sets and bring in other sets too! I like the card that used the cats and put Santa hats on them!

  27. I love Christmas cards with great scenes. My favorites the last few years have been pickup trucks with dogs and Christmas trees at the tree farm. I enjoy the cozy indoor scenes gathering around the tree too. So many options to use bright colors.

  28. I absolutely love Chari’s dachshund card! I have three dachshunds and I would love to make this card so they look like my fur babies!

  29. I am hooked on snowflake cards right now, but i have sketched out several designs with Christmas Dreams set and i can wait to set the scene.

  30. My favorite holiday card idea is anything that makes the card stand up and display itself (fancy fold or special die) so that the Christmas joy is easy to see!

  31. I like to make interactive or fun fold cards for the holidays. And cozy, snowy scenes are always at the top of my favorite list!

  32. Love the pull out with the gift card idea! We have a tradition of gift cards in stockings and this would be a fun way to present them!!

  33. Would love to use the puppy stamps for a snow scene, dragging the lights over a tree or snowman. So many options.

  34. I love a holiday card (or any card really) that involves a shaker element, maybe one that looks like snow.

  35. My favorite holiday card includes Santa
in some kind of activity. Love the
kids around the tree – cute stamp/die.
    thanks for sharing

  36. My favorite holiday card is still How You Bean? Christmas Cookie Add-on. It always makes me smile and can be made in many ways.

  37. My favorite card is shaker cards using snowflakes and glitter. I like using the “Winter Skies” set. So far it’s still my favorite!

  38. I love simple and pretty snowflake or snow scenes for Christmas cards, but I am loving the Joy to All and Furry and Bright sets!

  39. My FAVE Holiday Card is a Christmas Scene with Deer and some smaller critters and with snowbanks and snowflakes.
Love all of your scene cards!!! I’m in AWE!!!

  40. My favorite holiday card has lots of pretty greens and reds made with classic Christmas scenes that sparkle.

  41. I like to make Christmas cards with the large sentiment front and center with a little embellishment of some sort peeking out from around the words. Like a delightful furbaby donning a Santa hat!

  42. Love interactive cards….unfortunately most is winter themed….difficult for a summer Christmas…maybe lawn fawn can make a summer Christmas stamp set in the future? Christmas fishes not available here….

  43. LF designers create such amazing projects! I love seeing all the inspiration. My favorite holiday cards are interactive. I’m kind of addicted to shaker cards but I also like window cards where the front has a die cut of a window frame and the main image is stamped on the inside so you can see it through the window. Thank you for the chance to win!!

  44. I like interactive cards or cards that the recipient can use year after year as a decoration. One year I made a shaker ornament they could hang on the tree year after year. Another year I made a row of four houses that was accordion folded that could go on your mantle.

  45. Such lovely cards from the designers. Interactive cards are so fun on holiday designs, I love unexpected surprises on cards.

  46. I love all the card ideas especially the slimline with the sofa and fireplace. Your design team is awesome.

  47. I love holiday cards with outdoor elements like pine trees, reindeer, snow and snowflakes. Possible because we have none of those things where I live? That said, I really liked the idea used by several members of the DT to have the dogs coming out of the box as a furry Christmas present. So cute!

  48. All the samples are so beautiful! I like to make a variety of Christmas cards since I send a lot and it is more fun for me. I also like to glue a family picture inside. It’s fun to read all the comments and get wonderful ideas from your crafty followers!

  49. I love all of the card ideas! I haven’t picked a design for my holiday card yet, I can’t decide! I really love sending the interactive cards. I always get such wonderful comments on them, and Lawn Fawn makes them so easy to do!

  50. Using the flippy flappy do a front with a plain Christmas tree and then pull the flap and the tree becomes lighted.

  51. Elena, Meghan and Mindy sure came close! I love snowmen, xmas tree’s and cards depicting the December night sky.

  52. My sister just recently got a baby Doxie, so I’m loving the “May Your Holidays Be Furry and Bright,” and the “Happy Howlidays” that feature the cute little pups.

  53. Love all the cards! My favorite card would be all the kitties and dogs playing outside in the snow and decorating an outdoor tree. My dog used to absolutely love playing in the snow.

  54. My favorite cards are those that are handmade. It doesn’t much matter how it looks, it is more someone took the time.

  55. I would definitely put on my card a decorated tree, the new dachshund stamps and a few kids opening up presents to recreate christmas morning.

  56. My favorite holiday cards are any type of interactive ones. Can’t wait to use the new Flippy Flappy to make one, just so busy right now. Such amazing cards by the design team, you always impress!!!

  57. My favorite holiday card idea includes the cheery Christmas stamp set. I love the tree and critters. I’ve used this many times over the years!

  58. So fun! I’d like to try a magic picture changer card, maybe with an undecorated tree, then changes into the doggies decorating it!

  59. I love to add sparkle to my holiday cards. I love the card by Kelli Marie Alvarez that has the dog with a gift bone looking in thee window of a joyful Christmas scene. So cute!

  60. I really enjoy christmas tree cards and anything with a wreath on it
The 3d christmas tree one is my favorite

  61. I love the more elegant kind of christmas cards – green and gold is such a wonderful, festive color combination! But also cards with a icy winter scene are perfect for me for christmas since I hope for a white christmas every year. When it comes to making cards I make individual cards for every family memeber and just let me float where inspiration drives me in the process of the making.

  62. My favorite holiday card idea is with the window looking inside the house with the cozy Christmas tree scene — loads of ideas for that! so many cozy scene ideas! I confess I also love all things with the pop out gift card though. 🙂

  63. I love to keep Christ in Christmas, but love the whimsy images too. So would like to find how to make Santa kneeling at the manger with sweet animals around.

  64. These card’s are just adorable, my favorite holiday card idea would have to be the card with the pop out gift card hidden in it by Chari Moss I love the extra surprise of gift card the person wouldn’t expect it

  65. My daughter really wants a dog so I think I’d like to do a card with a dog coming out out a box / Christmas wrapping.

  66. My favorite ideas for this year have been using the cats from purrfectly wicked to make a scene with them decorating the jolly Christmas tree with some sparkly decorations!
I also like the idea of seeing if I could fit the sled and deer from tiny winter friends into a snowy sky outside the window die.
It would be so fun to create a toyshop look with the window die too!!

Theres just so many fun ideas- I should probably make a start on them before it’s too late!

  76. I am very interested in the using the window stamps. I love that Lawn Fawn is adding furniture which will be a great addition to the collection.

  77. I personally like cards with puns and/or are funny/snarky, but if I can’t have that, then ‘bright, colorful, and cute’ works too. Of the cards shown here, I like Elise’s “howliday” card. I like the colors and the ‘howlidays’ sentiment.

  78. I love cards with movement. I would have one of the dogs slide out from behind the tree using both of these stamp sets.

  79. My favorite holiday card idea is shakers. It’s cool to see snow shaking around behind a window or inside a snow globe.

  81. I think all the cards are adorable and glitter/sparkles is a must on my holiday card!🎅🏼🎄🤶🏼⛄❄

  82. I love using dies like four square and peekaboo backdrop to make quick and easy Christmas cards. I can drop any images in the windows and have beautiful cards! I will have to try a 3D Christmas tree very soon like Grace showed today!

  83. My favorite holiday cards are almost always in traditional colors-I admire others non traditional cards but they just don’t feel like the holidays to me!

  89. I’m not that great at describing my card ideas but here goes, a white glittery Christmas tree popped up on a dark blue ink blended background with some snow!

  99. I like making shaker cards. This year I’m going to use large sentiments and make them the shaker element of the card.

  100. Dear LF and Design Team or Guest Designers – Holy moly! I am always in awe of your talents. I had to chuckle at that card w/ the cat helping to decorate the tree. Mine always help to dedecorate it!!! I think that was Latisha’s. I loved all the cards – I think my favorites were from Megan Q and Tammy S, but it’s very hard to decide. I also found these excellent: Mindy’s and Audrey’s and Grace’s and Chari’s and Kelly Marie’s and …. You get the idea. You folks are ridiculously talented!!
My favorite holiday card idea? I like to put an acrostic on a card vertically and have other related holiday terms intersect it horizontally. It takes more patience than I have these days, though. I cannot say this is my favorite, but I like it. I guess my favorite for mass production is CAS… a nice simple ink blend and then something like a Nativity silhouette over it, for example. I also LOVE to decorate the envelopes.
    Hugs,
    Lori S in PA

  101. I would love to use the dogs from Furry and Bright and combine them with the cats from Purrfectly Wicked and Christmas Dreams and make a dog and cat-filled house around the Christmas tree. Maybe even a second version where the Christmas tree has fallen and the pets have made quite a mess but are having the time of their lives!

  102. I love how all the Lawn Fawn sets feel much and match. I used one of the dogs from furry and bright today on a birthday card with my giant Happy Birthday To You die cut. He was pulling a balloon instead of the string of lights and it is so cute!

  103. I haven’t decided this year’s theme. I’ve been toying with a mythical creature theme with Bigfoot and Yetis, though.

  107. Oh my goodness, how adorable, LOVE! Love “snowy” shakers for holiday cards, and anything with adorable critters. I’m a sucker for kraft colours on holiday cards recently, but I am also all for the classic colours of reds/green/golds and/or blue/white (snow/ice)

  108. I love the idea of using the snowflake magic iris add on-cut out of holographic paper-to make a holiday card 🎄

  109. This year I have the idea of using the speech bubble background die and having loads of Christmas sentiments in the speech bubbles and Yeti Critters on the front 🥰

  110. I love making a bunch of different cards. I also try to make sets of cards out of a certain pack of paper. I love using lots of dies to build interest on the cards.

  113. I don´t think I can pick a favourite idea, it feels like my head is going to explode, awesome inspiration and I got so many things I want to try out for the Holidays. I´ll start with the furry and bright stamp set.

  114. The idea for this year’s Christmas cards is using the gorgeous snowflake stencils on an ink blended background! 125. I love using stencils to create interesting backgrounds to start a great scene with all the cute critters that lawn fawn has.

  126. I really love shaker cards for Christmas cards – something extra special about all the glitter and sequence floating around looking like snow.

  127. I’m excited to try the Magic Iris Snowflake with the Magic Holiday Messages. I want to make Happy New Year cards and add the tiny birthday children blowing horns and wearing party hats.

  128. I really love creating holiday cards! I love creating scenes around my critters and I absolutely love adding snow with a white gel pen!

  129. I’m not very good at making cards, but i do help my wife making them at Christmas. i hold the scissors, the glue and give her the stamps. like a surgeon’s assistant in a way.

  130. The card I can’t get out of my head has the peppermint Backdrop and the Snow flake magic Iris add on and the add on in inked in GREEN, and layered with a second the same! I thought it was so genius to make a wreath! Talk about stretching your dies!! 🙂

  131. I don’t have a favorite holiday card idea. My holiday cards change all of the time. I also tend to make my cards based on the person they are going to. I do love anything with glitter or glitter cardstock!!

One of my favorite things about Lawn Fawn is how they think of interactive dies and stamps so that the card is an experience.

  135. My favourite holiday card idea is a winter scene with the puppies from the stamp set having fun in the snow with all the items they stole out of the Christmas tree.

  136. This year I am going to create a wreath of die cut garland around my sentiment inspired by your recent single wreath leaf dies.

  137. On the card front there would be window frame decorated with Christmas decorations and inside I want to try Let it shine paper with snowflakes backdrop die as a wallpaper! And there would be Joy to all images around it!
