Design Team Inspiration

The design team has made the most amazing samples! And there’s more inspiration and fun ways to use this set in the video at the end! Remember to click on the person’s name to see all of the details! And leave these wonderful DT girls some comment love!

Elena created a Happy Mushrooms design that is so beautiful! She used colorful cardstock and papers with a neutral background. And then she added an extra punch of red with a Let it Shine – Red Sprinkle ‘n Shine paper strip along the edge. Our Oh Gnome set has some sentiments that are so perfect with these cute mushrooms.

Oh, my goodness, I love Caly‘s colorful Happy Mushrooms so “mush”! She gave them sweet, smiling faces then placed them in a fern-filled scene! So cute with the sentiment from Oh Gnome!

The Radiant Heart Backdrop is so perfect for layering the Happy Mushrooms on! Melissa added splatters to the background and fun detail to the cute mushrooms!

Grace got so creative, using the Fancy Lattice Backdrop to create an embossed pattern in the background. Then she used Winter Wonderland Window to frame a darling Happy Mushrooms vignette!

The hot-foiled Starry Sky Background and Big Scripty Words add shine to this dreamy design! And that cute little snail is a combination of a candy from Woodland Critter Huggers Bat Add-On and the large snail die from Gleeful Gardens Lawn Cuts coordinating die set. Grace is so clever!

Audrey’s thank you card is so beautiful with the dramatic dark Rainforest background! I love how she added rich color and splatter texture to the mushrooms, rocks and ferns from Happy Mushrooms, they look so amazing! And with a sentiment from Porcu-pine for You, this card is a perfect thank you card!

Megan created a woodsy look to her Happy Mushrooms card with Giant Outlined Love Ya and the woodgrain Armoire patterned paper! I love how she colored the mushroom stems and added all the pretty greenery with the ferns!

Elise created a Happy Mushrooms design that is so cute and fun! I love the patterned paper background and the Finley’s ABCs greeting!

Rebecca’s card shows us how cute the Happy Mushrooms are as a background in a Porcu-pine for You scene!

  1. Holy shiitake these mushrooms are so cute! Perfect for a forest feast scene or a bug deal add on. Would also be a super cute fairy scene. So many ideas!!

  2. I would make cards for a variety of occasions and use some of the following puns.
    Get well shroom!
    I love you so mush.
    I miss you so mush.
I have so mushroom in my heart for you.
    So cute on their own.

  3. Omgggggg! I love the entire release but these mushrooms by far are my fav!!!! So many good things to use this, but I think the gnomes would be perfect!

  4. Oh these are precious! They’d work well on their own or as a playground for various forest critters, or the little mice.

  5. Cute mushrooms! The words that go with these mushrooms make the perfect anniversary card. They would look cute with a gnome.

  6. Oh my goodness, I have so many ideas floating through my head. When the premiere started last night I immediately thought of rainbow. My first card will likely be similar to Chari’s.

  7. I really like that these cute mushrooms can be used many different ways. I would probably use them to hide easter eggs on an easter card, or with the mice in a fall card. They are so cute!

  8. I would use those happy mushrooms as a background with gnomes in the foreground! There’s so many possibilities with this die set!

  9. I love the Thank You So Mush sentiment so much, I would definitely use this set for thank you cards. I would also pair it with the gnome, fairy and bug sets in my collection. Whi can’t help smile at the adorable design team projects.

  10. Yeyy for Happy Mushrooms! Love LOVE Love! If I would have it now, I would create xmas-mushroom scene in the forest with thiny insects having a party.

  11. I would totally make a garland with fairy lights and hang in my craft space. I find the more whimsy, the more inspiration I have. Some days it’s hard to drag it out of me!

  12. They will be perfect for autumn/fall-card, Xmas…. maybe yellow ones for Easter even!!
    They are soooo cute!
Great release! Thanks for all inspiration!

  13. I would make a little mushroom forest with the fairies and the mushroom house! Or the cabin with the elves and mushrooms around it could be magical too!

  14. I would use these cutie patootie mushrooms in lots of ways, but my first thought was on a birthday card with my ‘you’re a fungi stamp’ from (maybe) the Year ___ set, not sure which one it is.

  15. I absolutely love this die set!
I would use it with gnomes, little girl for “Alice in Wonderland” card, or just on its own. This set is very versatille.

  16. So cute (of course!). I loved the sample that combined the new mushrooms with the mushroom house and would love to try that!

  17. The happy mushrooms will make cute cards by themselves or as a great background for little forest creatures. So fun!

  18. How adorable! I would add some frogs to a scene with the mushrooms! Maybe a fairy tale with a Cinderella-like princess and a frog on the front. Inside, she gets a prince.

  19. I would use these cute Happy Mushrooms with the Mushroom House stand alone die. They would be so cute beside the house. Imagine, Kelly, having a gnome peeking out from behind one. Oh my goodness, how cute that would be! The Happy Mushrooms would be perfect with the Garden Gnome stand alone die, too. Oh, so many ideas dancing in my head!

  20. For a start, I’d happily copy any of the DT samples! But maybe also with the mushroom house? Definitely with my gnomes and fairies. But the greenery too could go with lots of scene cards. Love them!

  21. Love mushrooms! Actually bought a kit and grew some! Would love to use these in an interactive but not sure of their size. Possibly the pop up platform?

  22. I just want to make a pile of mushrooms. Not sure what I would use them for. They just make me happy so having a pile of cute mushrooms would just be bonus!

  23. They would compliment a scene with the Mushroom House, and I’d fill the scent either with bugs, gnomes or fairies….

  24. It would be so cute and fun to send out thank you cards to unsuspecting community workers ( eg. Grocery clerks, mail person, etc.) with this set!

  25. Wow so many choices – I’d use them on the Platform Pop-up with the Build-a-Cabin and the mushrooms in the foreground. It would also go well with the Just Plane Awesome stamps & dies or along the sides of the On the Road dies or at the base of the Giant Happy Birthday die. They’d go well with gnomes too.

  26. I really like them by themselves or with the spooky backdrop but could see a scene with cute mice, squirrels or other woodland creatures looking pretty adorable too. Wonder if they’d look like chantrel mushrooms if I flipped the cap upside down.

  27. I would use these adorable mushrooms with all my gnome and woodland creature stamps. Together they would make the cutest cards!

  28. The Happy Mushrooms are adorable. I would use them on thank you and valentine cards and as embellishments for scrapbook layouts.

  29. I would add the happy mushrooms to any woodland animal card. I also love the rainbow of mushrooms just by themselves. So cute!

  30. Love the happy mushroom set!! I would use it with one of the mice sets..playing around the mushrooms would be really cute.

  31. I think first just as themselves with some fern around as hello card. They as so cute. And then they can be used with so many other collections!

  32. Wow! Such adorable mushrooms! I think I would make a card inspired by Chari’s card with the “not-always” spooky tree background die. I just purchased it to use with my winter birds stamps and coordinating dies!

  33. The mushrooms would really complement the Gnomes! My youngest loves mushrooms because of a certain video game character. Can’t wait to get this one!!! 🙂

  34. Gnomes are obviously perfect for this! But I’d also use it in a forest scene with the trees in the background and the mushrooms as the “close up”

  35. Absolutely loving these adorable mushrooms. I would love to recreate the adorable multi-coloured mushroom cards created by the design team. They’re darling!

  36. I would use the new mushroom set with my gnomes for a cute scene on a card. This mushroom, fern, and rock set are just what I need!

  37. The very first card I would make would be very similar to Chari’s card at the bottom of the post, minus the gnome and snail as I don’t have those, and would be for my bestie. And I would use that fantastically punny sentiment “I have so mushroom in my heart for you”! She would love it!!

  38. OMG these are the happiest little mushrooms ever! 🥰 I would totally make sweet birthday cards for the littles I take care of.

  39. These are already my favourites! I would use theme together with my gnome and fairies to start with. Also think they would be great together with critters from bug deal

  40. There are so many possibilities for these dies. I would make a Father’s Day or masculine birthday card for the “fungi”.

  41. I absolutely love the thanks so mush, so would use them as a thank you- but also would love to combine them with fairies & gnomes!! Thanks for the chance! SO CUTE!

  42. I am hoping to get a the Gnome stamps and mushroom house for Christmas, so then I would get this to go with them. Would be perfect!

  43. I think a very cute birthday card with gnomes is my first thought, but also Thank you notes and a few puns of someone being a real “fungi”!! 😊

  44. I would use it to fill in many forest / critter scenes or make puns with “mush/much.” I love these! Mushrooms are really having a moment!

  45. I’ve been waiting for these all release. The scale is great! I’d definitely create a forest scene with gnomes!

  46. I love Chari’s card with the rainbow mushrooms, I think I would definitely try that first and give it to my husband – he loves mushrooms!

  47. I would make each of my nieces and my sister a box of blank greeting cards with the mushroom so they would use them. They aboslutly love mushrooms. Especially ones in the 70’s Colors

  48. Thank you for sharing these great inspirations! I love the Chari Moss card! I would make a card with pastel colors and my fairies set!

  49. I would make a bright blue mushroom card just like the onesI saw in New Zealand. It was hidden away under a log but it’s electric blue color caught my eye.
