Grace’s Charming Card for Teachers

Join us on Tuesday as we introduce the fun sets in our May Mini Release! This release will be available on May 19th!

Grace is with us today to share a special card to send to teachers who are finishing the school year in these crazy times! I’m sure there are a lot of kids who miss their teachers.

Grace created a slimline card to accommodate this adorable long scene. She combined Dandy Day with A Bug Deal and some little images from Plan on It: School, Oh Gnome! and Butterfly Kisses.

The message is a combination of Oliver’s Stitched ABCs and a sentiment from Butterfly Kisses.

How cute is that stack of books sitting on the tree stump? The stump is found in Meadow Backdrop: Landscape and those cute mushrooms are found in Oh, Gnome! Grace inked the background with Tumbled Glass and Scattered Straw Distress Oxide ink, then she use watered down Peacock Feathers Oxide ink to add the splatters.

I just love how Grace used the Outside In Stitched Apple Stackables to make the school building, it is so clever! To turn the apple into a charming school building she used elements from Scalloped Treat Box Spring House Add-On. She added the school sign using Plan On It and Plan On It: School.

Thank you for sharing this adorable card with us today, Grace!

A Sweet Card Filled with Love by Karin

Karin‘s beautiful card has a simple design with lots of impact! It would make a lovely Mother’s Day card!

She ink blended the background starting from each side of the card with pinks and yellows leaving some space in between. Then she splattered some water on the ink to create lots of texture and interest. She used Scripty Love as the greeting and arranged the bunnies from Eggstra Amazing Easter so it looks like they are holding it up as a banner! To finish this sweet scene, Karin added butterflies and tiny Spring Sprig flowers!

Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful card with us today, Karin!

First Saturday with Megan {5.2.20} A Fun Reveal Wheel Beach Scene!

Happy First Saturday in May! Megan joins us today to share a delightful birthday card featuring a fun beach scene!

This happy scene combines cute critters from Really High Five, Butterfly Kisses and Smooth Sailing! The beach scene was created using On the Beach, Stitched Wave Borders, Sandy Beach Accents and Stitched Hillside Borders.

The Reveal Wheel gives this adorable scene a fun interactive element! Move the wheel and the beach ball flies back and forth between the fox and the leaping bear! And just how cute are those bunnies playing in the sand?

Thank you so much, Megan, for starting the month of May with this adorable inspiration!
