Mimi Blends Up Interactive Smoothie Fun

Happy Friday! Yay, the weekend is almost here! Mimi created a super clever card that is sure to inspire some crafty fun! She combined the new Build-A-Drink Blender Add-On with Magic Picture Changer to blend up a magical interactive fruit-filled smoothie!

She combined Build-A-Drink with the add-on sets Cocktail and Mason Jar along with Build-A-Drink Blender Add-On to add the citrus, strawberries, blueberries and banana!

When you pull the tab, the Magic Picture Changer “blends” the fruit, greens and ice cubes into a yummy berry smoothie! To create the smoothie, Mimi used Ocean Wave Stencils and Paint Splatter Background Stencil on the picture changer.

She stamped and colored images on the picture changer to fill the blender with fruit and greens! She used So Smooth, You Autumn Know, Berry Special and Make Lemonade. And she also used the pile of flour from Baked with Love as “cut up fruit”, so clever! Then finally, Mimi added the perfect sentiment from Treat Cart Sentiment Add-On: Smoothies ‘n Juice!

I love your amazing creativity, Mimi! Thank you so much for sharing your fun card with us!

We will start introducing the new stamps, dies, paper and more goodies on Thursday! Join us for Design Team inspiration, intro videos and daily giveaways until release day on May 16th!

Catherine found some mice with culinary skill to create this spaghetti themed Give It a Whirl card!

She created the background using Radiant Heart Backdrop with a panel of Fruit Salad 6×6 paper to create a charming Italian restaurant vibe. And she used the Give It a Whirl circle to make the cooking pot. The handles are made using the Build-A-Drink Mason Jar Add-On.

The mice are from A Creature Was Stirring, Dandy Day and Scripty Bubble Sentiments. And the spaghetti is made with the wires from Screen Time. The mice are making the sauce using tomatoes from our recent gift with purchase set Simply Celebrate Veggies. But you could use the little tomato from Veggie Happy Add-On as well. The mushrooms are from Let’s BBQ and the green herbs are from Build-A-Drink.

As you give it a whirl, the sauce ingredients simmer to become a rich, red pasta sauce! Yum!

Catherine used Stitched Simple Wavy Borders to create a stencil to add pattern and movement to the pasta sauce. As a final addition, she stamped the sentiment from Veggie Happy.

Oh, my goodness, Catherine, your card is so brilliant! Thank you so much for sharing your creativity with us!

Grace’s Shaker Card is Sweet as Honey!

April Inspiration Week is coming up on April 12! We will wrap up all the Spring 2024 Release introductions with intro videos, Design Team inspiration and daily giveaways! Woohoo! Join us here on Friday for the Big Giveaway Post! We can’t wait!

Grace combined Build-A-Drink Mason Jar Add-On with Lovely Lily of the Valley to create an absolutely beautiful shaker card!

Grace used the new Build-A-Drink Mason Jar Add-On to make a fun honey-filled shaker element! She cut the lid from silver metallic cardstock and inked the “jar” with Sunflower and Ballet Slippers inks. She also inked the Lovely Lily of the Valley flowers with this ink combination.

Next, in order to fill the shaker with honey-colored glitter, she added 2 drops of Copic Y21 refill to Chunky Glitter. That is just so clever! She stamped the Hive Five bees, the trail and the word Honey in Crunchy Leaf ink. Then she inked the spoon from Stitched Mug Frame with Pizza Crust ink, adding shading with Walnut ink. To turn it into a honey dipper, she used a scoring board to create grooves across the bowl of the spoon.

For the background, Grace started with rectangle panel of Alice 12×12 paper from the Rainbow Ever After collection. She cut out a window with Large Stitched Oval, then she layered it on a panel of What’s Sewing On 6×6 paper. She then added a Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Frame.

And finally, she added a sentiment from Hive Five on a Fancy Wavy Banner. She first stamped it in Shaded Lilac Oxide ink using a Misti stamping tool. She stamped the sentiment again in clear embossing ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

Oh, my goodness, Grace! This card is so brilliant! Thank you so much for inspiring us today!
