Ivy’s Teacher Retirement Card with a Musical Theme

Ivy created a special card to celebrate the retirement of her son’s choir teacher, and it has lots of cute critters!

Peekaboo Backdrop and Bitsy Blooms paper create a fun background for three cute vignettes. Ivy trimmed the bottom frame so that it fits the Simply Celebrate Hangouts banquet table. She added the bunnies from Simply Celebrate Critters then filled the speech bubble border with messages of congratulations.

The “choir director” is from Hay There, Hayrides Bunny Add-On and the baton, music stand, and sheet music are from Critter Concert. And then Ivy added happy retirement by combining sentinents from Happy Happy Happy and On the Beach!

Thank you for sharing this special inspiration, Ivy!

Lawn Fawn Video {3.22.22} Marine’s “Singin’ in the Rain” Platform Pop-Up Card

March Inspiration Week starts tomorrow! Woohoo! We can’t wait to start sharing more Spring 2022 inspiration on Thursday, but first we have the Big Giveaway Post! See you then!

Today Marine is back to share another fantastic card! She will recreate her adorable “Singin’ in the Rain” card from Release Week, but this time she will make it a Platform Pop-Up! You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thanks so much for watching!

Marine created this fun scene from the movie musical Singin’ in the Rain with the adorable bears from Beary Rainy Day! She included the small umbrella from Elphie Selfie for the little bears, coloring all the umbrellas in rainbow colors!

I love how she stamped the Here We Go A-Waddling streetlamps in River Rock ink. It let her add fantastic details with her alcohol ink markers! She used acetate strips to attach music notes to the platform, then she added more music notes to the side of the box.

Marine created the greeting with Henry’s ABCs and an embossed sentiment on an Everyday Sentiment Banner.

In order to create lots of dimension, Marine used Brick Stencil and Rainy Sky Stencil! For the bricks she inked over the stencil with the same Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide ink as the background. Then to add the sparkly raindrops, she used Fairy Dust Stencil Paste.

Thank you so much for creating this amazing pop-up card, Marine! I absolutely love the Singin’ in the Rain theme!

First Saturday with Megan {11.2.19} A Musical Magic Picture Changer!

Let’s celebrate the start of November and the unofficial start of the holiday season with a musically inclined Magic Picture Changer card by Megan!

Megan created a charming Christmas village scene using Winter Village and filled it with penguins from Here We Go A-Waddling and a Christmas tree from Christmas Dreams! The caroling penguins are standing in front of a Ready Set Snow snow globe with a very happy crab from Christmas Fishes!

When the tab is pulled on the Magic Picture Changer, the cute little crab joins in with the carolers, adding his voice to their joyful song!

Thank you so much for this adorable inspiration, Megan! I just love the singing crab!
