Lawn Fawn Video {1.27.22} Mindy’s Cute and “Cheesy” Valentine

Hi friends! We have Mindy back with us to share another clever design! She has a “cheesy” non-traditional Valentine to inspire us today! You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for watching!

Mindy’s bright and cheery Valentine is so charming! I love how she used the Bubble Background Stencils to create the look of cheese! That is so clever!

She used No. 2 Pencil and Sunflower ink to stamp the solid hearts of the How You Bean? Conversation Heart Add-On! And the cute little You Autumn Know mouse looks so happy and grateful for friends like you!

Thank you for this adorable inspiration, Mindy! It’s so much fun!

Tammy is back today to share another adorable card design! Take it away, Tammy….

Hello friends! I’m excited to be on the Lawn Fawn blog today sharing a fun Valentine themed card, featuring the adorable penguins from Penguin Party.

To begin, I stamped, colored with Copic markers, and die cut the images from the following sets:
Penguin Party/ Coordinating Dies
How You Bean/ Coordinating Dies
How You Bean? Conversation Heart Add-On/ Coordinating Dies

Next, I die cut Bristol smooth cardstock using the Quilted Heart Backdrop: Portrait and ink blended it with Wilted Violet, Picked Raspberry, and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide inks. I layered the inked backdrop onto white cardstock then onto a Scalloped Rectangle Stackable cut from Chili Pepper cardstock.

I die cut white and Chili Pepper cardstock using the Giant XOXO die, layered them together, slightly offset and attached it to the bottom of my card. The sentiment from Scent With Love Add-On was white heat embossed onto Black Licorice cardstock then die cut using the Everyday Sentiment Banners and attached over the XOXO die cut.

Lastly, I attached the stamped images onto my card, using foam tape on some for dimension, then adhered the card front to a white card stock base to complete my card.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you were inspired to start creating some Valentine’s projects!
Big Hugs,
Tammy

Thank you so much for this wonderful Valentine inspiration, Tammy! Those colors are so amazing!

Lawn Fawn Video {1.11.22} Marine’s Shaker Valentine Card

Hello friends! Marine is back with another shaker card to inspire you! This time she creates a “love potion” themed Valentine card using Scent with Love! You can watch the video tutorial below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thanks so much for watching!

Marine’s fun “love-potion” theme came together with a combination of Scent With Love and Purrfectly Wicked! She also used a sentiment from Science of Love!

She worked her magic to create another spectacular background! This time combining Quilted Heart Backdrop: Portrait and Simple Stripes: Landscape! The purple and red colors are so striking!

To make the shaker element, Marine used How You Bean? with the Shaker Add-On. She filled the window with a mix of hearts and googly eyes to match the theme!

Thank you so much for sharing your adorable inspiration, Marine!
