Quill You Be Mine? Catherine’s Beautiful Quilled Valentine Card

Start a creative 2024 with our next Create with Us Live event! Join us this Saturday at 2:00PM PT / 5:00PM ET for cardmaking tips and tricks and lots of fun crafty conversation! In this free class hosted by Kelly and Jenn, you’ll create two adorable cards featuring the Porcu-pine for You stamp set. You can follow along — or just pop in to say hi! — on YouTube Live. We hope to see you there!

Catherine has our first inspiration post for 2024 and it’s an amazingly clever “double pun” Valentine card!

To create her design, Catherine started with a Scalloped Rectangle, then layered the Quilted Heart Backdrop: Portrait with a pink panel on top. She colored an adorable porcupine from Porcu-pine for You, then she arranged it and the cute, punny sentiment on the background.

And then, Catherine used strips of Textured Canvas cardstock in shades of pink to “quill” pretty heart shapes! It’s such a clever idea and adds one more meaning to the punny sentiment!

Thank you so much, Catherine for starting the year with this brilliant idea!

Hello friends! This week is going to be so much fun! We will be sharing Lawn Fawn Design Team inspiration based on the new Lawn Fawnatics challenge Lots of Heart! And of course, we will have a daily giveaway!

To see all the Lawn Fawnatics Design Team inspiration and join the Lots of Heart challenge, click HERE! You could be the random winner or one of our Featured Fawnatics!

Elena combined the Quilted Heart Backdrop: Portrait with the new Giant Outlined Love Ya! Then she decorated the die cut sentiment with birds from Magic Iris Birdhouse Add-On. She also included flowers from Spring Flowers Backdrop and leaves from Fall Leaves Backdrop and Stitched Strawberry Frame.

Karin‘s card is so sweet! She gave it a subtle die cut heart design on the tone-on-tone background. The cute little vignette features the Scent with Love skunk and the heart balloon from Scent with Love Add-On.

Catherine‘s sweet “hot air balloon” candy baskets feature Stitched Basket, Heart Stackables, Lots of Hearts Stencils and Heart Garland Backdrop! This idea is so clever!

Megan‘s clever card starts with a Lift the Flap Tree Backdrop and the Heart Garden Border in the background. Then she added a cute Wood You Be Mine? scene. She has the beaver painting a picture on a Canvas and Easel with a paint brush from Chirpy Chirp Chirp!

I hope you have been inspired to create a Valentine or Heart Day card for our Lots of Heart Challenge at Lawn Fawnatics!

Karin’s Beautiful Floral Wreath Cards

Just a reminder that today is the last day to get a free gift with a $60+ purchase at lawnfawn.com! Check out the new Summer 2022 Release for lots of sunny new products!

Karin is back to share a gorgeous card design featuring Magic Iris Floral Wreath Add-On! She created a pair of cards that are perfect for weddings/anniversaries and birthdays.

Karin die cut the floral wreath from white cardstock then she added the color using Copic markers. The colorful flowers look so beautiful against the white Quilted Heart Backdrop: Portrait. I love how she gave her cards extra detail by layering them on a Fancy Scalloped Rectangle.

Karin used Reveal Wheel Circle Sentiments for her cards, but you could also use any of the Magic Messages sets for even more options!

Thanks so much for sharing your gorgeous cards with us today, Karin!
